I always can find a great present at this store for less then $5.00. The store is always organized and employees are always rearranging shelves and displays to keep them neat and organized. Friendly staff that welcomes you and thanks you for your purchase. They have such a large selection of items that you go in looking for one thing and walk out with 3 or 4 without breaking the bank. This is a great place to shop for stocking stuffers for the holiday or quick birthday items to make up a basket. I was headed to an event yesterday and needed an umbrella and they had 1 left. I find these nice glitter gift bags that I can sublimate pictures on for personalized gifts. If you journal there are always great journals available here. The staff is always helpful and the now do self checkout so there are no long lines to check out anymore. This is definitely a 1st stop when I'm looking for small items water games, workout items or items for my grandkids. read more

Omg where has this store been all of my life?! I walked in and was taken back at how much stuff they had throughout the store, but more importantly the price and quality of it all!! Dana at AT&T recommended this store and now I'll be a regular! I bought a good screen protector and case for $10.70 and my happiness couldn't have been more apparent! This store lands somewhere between dollar stores & discount stores. Most everything is $5- and some stuff is cheap made crap & some is just fine. I've been here before- this is a go to for phone chargers & ear buds. Today I was shopping for a toy drive & happily left with a ukulele, a Trolls toy & a Star Wars Operation game! Five bucks each & I look like I'm generous in gift giving when I kept it tight! For those who don't have a lot of money or those who want to stretch the money you do have- happy shopping! read more

I was really impressed about this store. It's like almost an upgrade from the dollar store times five (I hope you got that). A lot more than the normal dollar store and I'm surprised that some items that I usually see at bigger retail stores are being priced at $5 or less. Other retailers would sell some of these items about $2-$15 more than what Five Below prices them. They have school supplies, toys, cosmetics, electronic add-ons, exercise items, t-shirts, travel-sized items, candies, and a lot more. Very convenient. I was most impressed of the cellphone and tablet cases/protectors. Usually you find those items online or other stores at least $15 or more. I got a screen protector for just $5 for my big screened phone. The company who makes it looks legit and it applies on the phone really well. My sister found a t-shirt she really wanted and she said the art and design was very similar to a store in the mall. She said that the other store was selling it at $20. Obviously, she bought the one here and said she likes this one better. Good choice little sister. Overall, I would love to come back and spend more time looking around (and buying). We had to cut our time short, but next time we'll stay longer. read more

Anything you want to find and not spend a fortune you can buy at five below - love this place

I'd never seen such a magical wonderland with everything I love for $5 or less until I came here. Upon walking in you'll realize that you have a lot of ground to cover with all the merchandise they have in the store. We weren't greeted and I didn't see anyone walking around the store that could offer assistance just in case you were looking for one specific thing and wanted to inquire if they even carried it instead of walking around the store for a couple hours and coming up empty handed. My absolute favorite part of the store would have to be the incense station. If I'd known they had Wildberry Incense sticks I'd have come a long while ago. They are the best you'll ever smell and the great thing about them is when they burn they still smell the exact same way!!!! If you haven't tried them they're one of my top recommendations. I swear you won't be disappointed. All in all the store was pretty dope and I'll definitely be back. read more

I was anticipating the opening of this store since I'm a huge fan of my local dollar store. Inside is basically a teenagers dream store. Everything inside is $5 or under. They have t-shirts, school supplies, storage items, candy, phone products, movies, etc. The feel of the store is definitely directed towards the younger crowd. Currently the stock is geared towards back to school with things to decorate your locker and dorm room. They do have more sports supplies that I expected and lots of technology products but I'm not sure how much I'd trust a $5 charger for my phone. I did pick up an ipad cover for $5, so that was cool. They have a large selection of gift bags that are pretty cheap and good selection of candy. I ended up picking up some candy from Japan that I've never tried before. I did see many items that are more expensive than other dollar stores and there isn't a lot of household items like I was expecting. If you need to make favor bags for your kid's birthday party, this is definitely the place. If your daughter wants hot pink accessories for her room, you must shop here. It's a cute store, but looks like my local Dollar Tree still wins for me. read more

Confession time: I came to this store based upon a recommendation. I came a year or so ago and after 30 seconds I left after an eye rolling field day, wanting to pluck my eyes out of their sockets due to some of the sights, strewn about merchandise and some questionable people doing questionable things in the view of everyone. Ugh, I digress. Fast forward to today and I was not only pleasantly pleased but thought "what a difference a year makes!" ...and new management and be to a location. I found exactly what I was looking for and I was very happy about it. The associates were all in Santa hats and they seemed very happy in their job roles. From the people on the sales floor recovering, the people at the cash registers, and even those who were helping to assist those in need such as me. When I got to the back of the store I discovered so many health and fitness items that would cost more than I wanted to spend and yet met my needs. Based upon my chiropractor and physical therapist recommending a fitness ball to assist in my lower back tinge and stretching the muscles for balance, I got the exact one I use in his office at Five and below. Not only did I find a fitness ball but I also found a body scale and a foot pump that would accompany the items I purchased. There were some conversation that I had with the manager who was willing to help and provide a new product information, and excitement around their fitness selections as Not many people she said comes in to buy fitness items like weights and such so she was happy that I was excited about their offerings. All in all I spent about $35 on items that would've cost me in excess of over $100. And they were quality items I must add. When I got to the checkout counter there were impulse items to tempt those waiting to purchase. It was successful because I purchased a few of them. Of those items were some throwback, oldold-school bazooka gum which has the Bazooka Joe cartoons, Bubble Yum, and hubba Bubba. How exciting is that!!! I was in heaven and 10 years old again. All in all I'm a say I was pleasantly surprised really pleased really really excited about how customer centric the store wise and how clean and well managed it wise. I was not objective going into it as I am with most things. However, I'm fair and objective once I enter any establishment while filing away any previous good or bad experience. I must say go and experience this location. I will return if I have a specific need for a quality item at a bargain basement price. read more

As soon as i walked in staff was rude and just blatently stared at me and my girlfriend walking in. 2 seconds after we walked in the employee took it upon herself to start screaming at the top of her lungs that its currently 7:48 and the store closes in 12 minutes. She continued to scream at everyone in the store that they need to make their way to the front of the store and cash out. The employee didnt even let us look around before yelling and staring at us telling us we need to come to the front and check out. Five Below was introduced to me in VA when I was visiting my Best Friend, Tara. She has her home filled with many unique inexpensive gadgets she later informed she acquired at this place called, "Five Below!" I was glad to finally know that this location was erected at St John's Town Center & frequent the place whenever I am close by. Cute store! It reminds me of when I was a kid and the dollar store was full of all this colorful plastic stuff that I absolutely needed, but never knew it until I had set eyes upon it. I took the 3 year old niece (who hates shopping) here and she cried when we left because there was so much kid friendly cool stuff that she wanted to buy. There is actually tons of useful stuff for the rest of us, though. I bought a 3 lens adapter kit for my iPhone to take macro, fish eye, and wide angle shots---for $5! This store is definitely overrated. Jyst about everything in the store cost $4.99. You're better off going to dollar tree and saving $4 per item you buy. The towncenter location to me is a bit small and cluttered. Parking is horrible. read more

I have to agree with Jamie's review on this one. I love a good dollar store so I was excited to stop into Five Below and check it out. I could see Five Below being a good place for goofy gifts or gifts for kids. They have a good selection (everything from t-shirts and board games to phone cases and towels) but little of it was really for me. I'll likely stick to my regular, actual dollar store but this could be a good option for certain gifts. read more
