All of which stared at me and my cousin as we walked in and couldn't bother to say at least hi. We were in the store for approximately 10 min and not a single acknowledgment. Shame is I was willing to shop and purchase several adorable items I had spotted online, but that quickly vanished and shared with the other small businesses around, allllll of which warmly greeted us. Shockingly enough, the owner posted a video talking about things they've learned in 10 years and even goes on about the customer experience and how a store "made you feel", yet many reviews reference the standoffish atmosphere dating back 9 years up until now.

I just wanted to do a little shopping but didn't feel like hitting up the mall that houses the same big brand stores I have access to in D.C. It's cute and esthetically beautiful. I was also surprised and impressed that they had some pretty unique pieces and not just the run of the mill trendy pretty pieces. I ended up buying to underwear sets that were gorgeous and a pair of shorts that are just gorgeous honestly. They were so helpful, and appreciative of the business. I can't wait to stop again on my next trip to Florida to see what else they have

I arrived a few minutes early the day of the event and was the first to receive a gift bag (first 20 customers) which included a mini bundt cake, a 20% off store coupon and a few other discounts to local businesses. I spent roughly 30 minutes looking at clothes and shoes. Winnie saw me carrying around three pairs of jeans and asked if she could put them in a dressing room for me while I continued shopping. Yes please! I wish all stores offered this type of service;) I tried on many items and decided to buy two pants and three shirts. My bill was roughly $45. Be sure to bring your own shopping bag as do not offer them. And sign up for rewards so you earn credits and an annual birthday coupon. I will absolutely be coming back to Uptown Cheapskate!

They also carry Vineyard Vines. I was happy to see that they have quite a few Tracy Negosian dresses as well as a variety of other preppy/resort brands. They have a well edited accessory section, with selections from Angela Moore, A Tierney, Eliza B. and more. I had no idea that they carried all these brands, most of which I thought were only available via internet or in boutiques in larger cities. Well done, Lemon Twist. I wouldn't come here expecting any bargains, but for a preppy splurge in NE Florida, The Lemon Twist fits the bill!

I, who planned on buying a whole lot more than them, was met with a look of "what are you doing here." No hello, no can I help you. I thought ok perhaps it was an off day? Nope ... I tried again months later and the same older lady (ironically my age!) again looked at me as if I was - some kind of shoplifter...? I'm not quite sure what her issue was. Perhaps I didn't "look" Ponte Vedra enough to actually even greet me. Really made me feel awful. What a shame because I like the store

An Amazing Experience!…read more I had the BEST experience at Clelia's Party Dresses & Bridal in Jacksonville! As a plus-size woman, I was honestly a little nervous walking in, but Molly immediately put me at ease. She greeted me with the most beautiful smile and asked what I was looking for. The truth is, I wasn't 100% sure! I had a few ideas, but I needed some guidance. As I started trying on dresses, Molly listened carefully to what I liked, what I didn't, and which features made me feel most comfortable and confident. She took everything I said into consideration, disappeared for a few minutes, and came back with the most GORGEOUS dress! It checked every single box! It was flattering, slimming, and made me feel absolutely beautiful. What I appreciated most was that Molly truly listened. She didn't just help me find a dress; she helped me find something that made me feel amazing in my own skin. I HIGHLY recommend visiting Clelia's! They have so many beautiful finds, and if you get the chance, ask for Molly. She made what could have been an intimidating experience into such a wonderful one! Thank you, Molly, for making me feel beautiful!

I understand the policy that the owners would rather help the customer in trying on the formal gowns because some of them are quite difficult and challenging to put on. My daughter tried a few gowns. The owner was not pushy at all, and in fact, she is so sweet and understanding of what a customer wants. I just don't understand some of the bad reviews here because the owner just struck me as the nicest and one of the most patient salesperson I've dealt with. She was very helpful and supportive to my teenage daughter. We didn't feel rushed. By the way, we also went to the gowns store across the hallway which was a complete opposite of Clelia's (that store across the hallway was so pushy and we felt rushed). Would definitely get our formal dresses thru Clelias from now on. Just very good customer service and the dresses/gowns are also beautiful and reasonably priced.
