The food never misses here. It is phenomenal! The staff recognizes us and knows what we want and are always super kind. To me, the best thing is the salmon, WOW! I have tried salmon in so many restaurants and wind up disappointed because none of it is as good as it is here at chumps! Love this place! read more

we went on a lovely spring friday evening. we wanted to take advantage of the weather and eat outside so the wait was lengthy. But we sat outside and enjoyed the live music across the street. the food was good, only complaint would be having been told we could not come back in with our dora cups that we purchased their while we were waiting. read more

Bar restaurant we like the food but several have complained the food is expensive for what you get. For bar restaurant we think the selection is good. Portions are pretty big so several things can be shared or leftover. Honestly usually too full to try dessert options. They don't often have black bean soup but its sooo good. Onion rings are yummy. My mom got the pork chops and loved it. Parking is biggest downfall as they don't there own and its a high traffic area to drive around trying to find a spot. There is a big free lot close to the river. read more

My husband and I wanted to go to dinner and we typically enjoy TJ Chumps. BUT we were greeted HORRIBLY by a young very rude "gentleman ". I always carry water with me because I dehydrate easily and was RUDELY told to take it back to my car which I did. We were sat. I got a Diet Pepsi which tasted like PURE syrup. I also ordered the BLT. There was literally 1/4 t of mayo, wilted lettuce and a tomato so hard you could use it as a hockey puck. The bacon was cooked BUT crumbled. Couldn't keep it on the bread. It was GROSS!!! My husband had some glazed salmon dish which he said was ok. The patio is nice. HOT. Not many fans going. And EVWRY time the guy who sat is walked by he glared making me VERY uncomfortable!! My hubby can go. I NEVER will return!!!!! If I could give a '0' I would! read more

A few improvements could (and should) be made. Minimal care and attention was given when we placed our carry-out orders this evening. The very young staff members were more interested in laughing and joking with their coworkers than they were with helping us. We ordered bbq boneless wings, with extra bbq and ranch on the side. We ordered two meals, and received only one, and it wasn't made to order as requested. The wings were left dry and without sauce, and a very meager smattering of bbq was begrudgingly put into a container in the corner of the box. The overall ambience is chaotic and unpredictable here. Sometimes it's a pleasure to dine here, other times it's downright frustrating. read more

The salmon tacos do not even taste like salmon. Very disappointing. Caesar Salad dressing had a bad after taste. After mentioning the salad and exchanging for something else I just let the salmon tacos go. Just live, learn and don't go back. read more

I was in the mood for wings was told this place had great wings. The service was great even though we came in a little late. We ordered wings and Brussels. We ordered a mix of buffalo hot and the dry rub. The wings were definitely enough to feed two people. Overall, good experience. I will definitely be back. read more

We were killing time before a birthday party in the area and stopped in here to grab something to eat. As we'd done only a cursory search for restaurants in the area with good ratings, we weren't totally sure what to expect beyond "American food." As I was craving french fries, this worked well. It turned out to be a sports bar, but a clean and well lit one, with comfortable tables. The outdoor seating looked really nice, but it was far too hot for us to sit outside to test it out, so a look is all I could offer it. We were there at the tail end of a lunch rush, so service was fast and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I got a large cocktail because it was only $7.99 for a full soda sized glass, which was very impressive. The cocktail itself was so-so, but for the price I had no complaints. I'm used to cocktail bar prices in OTR! I got a turkey wrap and it was very good, if a little messy. The fries were delicious. We split a peaches and waffles dessert which was also awesome. The prices were reasonable for food, and everything came in a timely manner. Overall a positive experience! The single person men's bathroom also had a changing table, which isn't relevant to me, but is a nice touch for people who might need it. I wouldn't drive all the way out to Miamisburg just to eat here, but if I were in the area again I wouldn't mind returning. read more

TJ Chumps - Nice outside seating. Some of the best in Miamisburg. - Sports Bars Near Me - Miamisburg, Ohio

Chumps is a solid choice whenever you are in Miamisburg. Great menu variety with good food across the menu. The outside covered dining area is nice and allows you to dine with a nicer oudoor atmosphere. Service is generally very good, they did undercook my salmon on this visit but they've done great the other dozen times so I will be back. read more

my first and only visit here, I attended a class reunion a few weeks ago. I did not order or eat any food, but did have quite a few beers and received really great service from the few girls working at the bar in the covered patio area. It's so nice going out to a bar here in the Miami Valley area and paying 1/2 what a beer costs on the West Coast. I was there on a Saturday night. I think October 5. was a very lively crowd on both sides of the restaurant. Everyone seemed super happy and enjoying themselves. All all of the wait staff was really on top of everyone's needs. Definitely great location for their business, parking was a little sketchy. I think only because such a large class reunion turn out made it more difficult than the usual as well as a really nice summer weekend evening with great weather. I will return for sure for a date night or other occasion so I can try out some of their bar food read more

Great location and even greater patio. Food was just okay, typical bar food but their pretzel sticks are top tier don't skip out on those. Kind service, lots or younger workers so they're pretty quick when they want to be. A little on the pricey side for what you get but overall good! read more

While visiting from Texas, we found this place from Yelp reviews and was pleased. We had two individuals with us who were handicapped and I verified with T.J. Chumps where to park. I was instructed, since it was a weekend, to park at the handicapped parking at the business next to them. It was still half a block of slow, careful walking to get inside. It was dark but cool inside, and we were seated immediately. They have a typical tavern menu of hamburgers, baskets, etc. Several of us had the fried fish basket with onion rings. Delicious and filling. One had the grilled salmon sandwich, and she couldn't stop raving about it. Since we were visiting, I was hoping to have local beer on draft, but at the time, they only offered can. No thanks, I prefer draft. We were very pleased with the service and we had plenty of food to take to SIL house for dinner. read more

We Love the Gluten Free Boneless wings with Celery and Blue Cheese. We Love the friendly service. Especially, Abi. We visit every week after church. Yes, try it. We got two appetizers, pretzel sticks and the cheese curds. Pretzel sticks are phenomenal, and the cheese curds are literally the best we've ever had. First off the atmosphere of this place it's great, and if you want burgers you are set. We went to this restaurant because we won a gift card and had been wanting to try it. I ordered the buffalo chicken burrito and it wasn't something that I would ever order again. The chicken was extremely dry and the sauce flavor wasn't the best. My son tried the wings and said they were just ok but he liked the fries. He had the sweet tea to drink and had to send it back because it tasted off. I agreed as did the rest of my family. We started with an order of chips and salsa and though the portion size was phenomenal, the salsa had a sweet flavor and was not good. My husband and daughter both had burgers which they enjoyed. Also, the potato soup was good. Everything was a little pricy but comparable to the area. Honestly, I don't see my family going here again. For the price I would go to Bennetts. read more

We love this place! It's a bit of a drive for us but we tend to go once every month or so. I usually get the smoked salmon bruschetta but decided this time to try the garlic white cheddar cheese curds and as expected, I was not disappointed. The lovely Mrs noted that these are the best cheese curds she's ever had and we've have them all over the country. We ordered a Chump Boy Burger and side salad to share for dinner and it seems I lost my pics but I'll update the next time we go. Their long island iced teas are pretty amazing. We really need to go there in a Tuesday when they have some sort of special on them. They do have gluten free items on the menu for those who cannot do gluten due to celiac or intolerant. The inside seating is nice. Reminds me of a bar or bowling alley eatery. The patio is very nice as it's big and open but the downside is the noise from the road as the bikers and straight piped cars seem to make an all out effort to disturb the patio patrons. We've been going here for years, the staff is always amazing and my favorite part of how they offer to refill your beverage, clean empty plates or just stop and ask how things are Going regardless if they have your table. I do wish all eateries had this take care of the patrons but it really is one of the reasons we love this place. read more

This is another local spot we like to frequent when we visit my Dad. We've never ordered delivery, but they didn't want to go out, so we used Door Dash. We ordered boneless wings for my daughter and traditional wings plain with hot sauce for me. Both of these were great. We loved the bleu cheese. Wings were cooked perfectly. We also ordered a caesar salad. The review likely would've been a 5 star had it not been for the salad. This is the one I was looking forward to eating. The salad was almost $7, but what we got was the equivalent of a side salad from Wendy's. Or less than 1/4 bag of store bought romaine (which is $2.40). It barely covered the bottom of the container, or a regular cereal bowl. Wings were great. Step up the salad game. I'm sure in the restaurant that it's a much heartier serving, so why not the to go one as well? Update: didn't finish the salad. I'm not sure if the dressing is homemade or prepackaged, but it didn't taste right. This won't deter us from visiting or ordering here again, I'll just stick to something other than salads read more

Ate at the newest TJ Chumps Kettering location and was happy to see the same great food and great service. I had the Clubhouse sandwich. I grew up on turkey club sandwiches in Chicago and this is the closest I've had. I was at a birthday party at the Linden location where they served a buffet of foods and all I tried were delicious. Kettering location will be no different. I plan to go to dinner there for the next family dinner. read more

I was actually impressed with T.J. chumps. This should be a 4.5 star but I just can't give it a five. Food was pretty good. Atmosphere is fun and they have a killer outdoor patio in the spring and summer. Service was pretty good. Bar had a good amount of draft beer. Place felt pretty clean. They had Christmas music playing which was to loud and super annoying for a sports bar atmosphere. I asked to change it and the manager gave me a shitty response. I really love the menu at chumps. They have all kinds of food that I like. It's pretty expansive. I will definitely be back. read more

Native to the Miamisburg area, we settled here for lunch. This place reminded me of any other type of burger/bar type of restaurant so I wasn't expecting much. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and I have to say their thoughts on it is a little different. The mushroom in particular. The Swiss and burger is pretty standard along with the fries of course. Now, what TJ chumps does differently with the mushroom is that they have one massive mushroom as big as the burger. This is different because most other mushroom Swiss burgers have little mushrooms sprinkled on there. To me, I think the idea of a big burger is ideal, it brings out the mushroom in a mushroom burger. The service was well put throughout the meal. I never had to ask for anything, and if I did I didn't have to do it multiple times. If you want a good local burger joint, or a similar TGI Fridays, this is the place to go. Their family friendly restaurant mixed in their take on the mushrooom Swiss won my vote. read more

This is one of Miamisburg's biggest hits. A locally owned sports bar with a steady stream of support and enjoyment. Monthly specials and a diverse menu leave you so much to choose from and it's all done fairly well. It can get crowded at times but the wait is never too long and service does their best to handle the demand. I don't recommend takeout from here. It's just not the same. read more
