Portions are pretty big so several things can be shared or leftover. Honestly usually too full to try dessert options. They don't often have black bean soup but its sooo good. Onion rings are yummy. My mom got the pork chops and loved it. Parking is biggest downfall as they don't there own and its a high traffic area to drive around trying to find a spot. My husband and I wanted to go to dinner and we typically enjoy TJ Chumps. BUT we were greeted HORRIBLY by a young very rude "gentleman ". I always carry water with me because I dehydrate easily and was RUDELY told to take it back to my car which I did. We were sat. I got a Diet Pepsi which tasted like PURE syrup. I also ordered the BLT. There was literally 1/4 t of mayo, wilted lettuce and a tomato so hard you could use it as a hockey puck. The bacon was cooked BUT crumbled. Couldn't keep it on the bread. The very young staff members were more interested in laughing and joking with their coworkers than they were with helping us. We ordered bbq boneless wings, with extra bbq and ranch on the side. We ordered two meals, and received only one, and it wasn't made to order as requested. The wings were left dry and without sauce, and a very meager smattering of bbq was begrudgingly put into a container in the corner of the box. The overall ambience is chaotic and unpredictable here. We were killing time before a birthday party in the area and stopped in here to grab something to eat. As we'd done only a cursory search for restaurants in the area with good ratings, we weren't totally sure what to expect beyond "American food." As I was craving french fries, this worked well. It turned out to be a sports bar, but a clean and well lit one, with comfortable tables. The outdoor seating looked really nice, but it was far too hot for us to sit outside to test it out, so a look is all I could offer it. We were there at the tail end of a lunch rush, so service was fast and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I got a large cocktail because it was only $7.99 for a full soda sized glass, which was very impressive. The cocktail itself was so-so, but for the price I had no complaints. I'm used to cocktail bar prices in OTR! I got a turkey wrap and it was very good, if a little messy. The fries were delicious. We split a peaches and waffles dessert which was also awesome. The prices were reasonable for food, and everything came in a timely manner. Overall a positive experience! The single person men's bathroom also had a changing table, which isn't relevant to me, but is a nice touch for people who might need it. my first and only visit here, I attended a class reunion a few weeks ago. I did not order or eat any food, but did have quite a few beers and received really great service from the few girls working at the bar in the covered patio area. It's so nice going out to a bar here in the Miami Valley area and paying 1/2 what a beer costs on the West Coast. I was there on a Saturday night. I think October 5. was a very lively crowd on both sides of the restaurant. Everyone seemed super happy and enjoying themselves. All all of the wait staff was really on top of everyone's needs. Definitely great location for their business, parking was a little sketchy. I think only because such a large class reunion turn out made it more difficult than the usual as well as a really nice summer weekend evening with great weather. While visiting from Texas, we found this place from Yelp reviews and was pleased. We had two individuals with us who were handicapped and I verified with T.J. Chumps where to park. I was instructed, since it was a weekend, to park at the handicapped parking at the business next to them. It was still half a block of slow, careful walking to get inside. It was dark but cool inside, and we were seated immediately. They have a typical tavern menu of hamburgers, baskets, etc. Several of us had the fried fish basket with onion rings. Delicious and filling. One had the grilled salmon sandwich, and she couldn't stop raving about it. Since we were visiting, I was hoping to have local beer on draft, but at the time, they only offered can. No thanks, I prefer draft. My son tried the wings and said they were just ok but he liked the fries. He had the sweet tea to drink and had to send it back because it tasted off. I agreed as did the rest of my family. We love this place! It's a bit of a drive for us but we tend to go once every month or so. I usually get the smoked salmon bruschetta but decided this time to try the garlic white cheddar cheese curds and as expected, I was not disappointed. The lovely Mrs noted that these are the best cheese curds she's ever had and we've have them all over the country. We ordered a Chump Boy Burger and side salad to share for dinner and it seems I lost my pics but I'll update the next time we go. Their long island iced teas are pretty amazing. We really need to go there in a Tuesday when they have some sort of special on them. They do have gluten free items on the menu for those who cannot do gluten due to celiac or intolerant. The inside seating is nice. Reminds me of a bar or bowling alley eatery. The patio is very nice as it's big and open but the downside is the noise from the road as the bikers and straight piped cars seem to make an all out effort to disturb the patio patrons. We've been going here for years, the staff is always amazing and my favorite part of how they offer to refill your beverage, clean empty plates or just stop and ask how things are Going regardless if they have your table. This is another local spot we like to frequent when we visit my Dad. We've never ordered delivery, but they didn't want to go out, so we used Door Dash. We ordered boneless wings for my daughter and traditional wings plain with hot sauce for me. Both of these were great. We loved the bleu cheese. Wings were cooked perfectly. We also ordered a caesar salad. The review likely would've been a 5 star had it not been for the salad. This is the one I was looking forward to eating. The salad was almost $7, but what we got was the equivalent of a side salad from Wendy's. Or less than 1/4 bag of store bought romaine (which is $2.40). It barely covered the bottom of the container, or a regular cereal bowl. Wings were great. Step up the salad game. I'm sure in the restaurant that it's a much heartier serving, so why not the to go one as well? Update: didn't finish the salad. Atmosphere is fun and they have a killer outdoor patio in the spring and summer. Service was pretty good. Bar had a good amount of draft beer. Place felt pretty clean. They had Christmas music playing which was to loud and super annoying for a sports bar atmosphere. I asked to change it and the manager gave me a shitty response. I really love the menu at chumps. Monthly specials and a diverse menu leave you so much to choose from and it's all done fairly well.
