great service, unique in that any server that passes by asks if you need anything, will remove empty glasses, etc. good food, highly recommend read more

Just a dreadful place. Cocktails terrible. Small. Service is terrible. The best thing we had was average. Everything else was WAY WAY WAY below average. Tasted like frozen food microwaved. Actually dreadful is too nice. read more

I had the mushroom swiss burger which was grilled to perfection. My husband ordered the ribs. I ate a couple because he kept saying how good they were and they looked irresistible. The meat was so tender and fell off the bone. The service was great and our orders came out quickly despite how busy they were!! read more

I really like the Chump wait style. Whomever walks by checks on you and keeps you drinks filled. The only way you could get bad service in this place is if they mess up your order. They have these new jalapeño popper egg rolls that are killer. The egg roll has the cheese and cream cheese in it and the berry sauce has the jalapeño kick in it. They are GREAT! Try the buffalo dip also. We had 2 on our last visit. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Plenty of seating in booths, tables, high tops and bar. read more

I admit that my expectations were low for "sports bar" food, but the grilled pork chops were absolutely fantastic! Flavorful, juicy, and affordably priced. The smashed potatoes and broccoli rocked, too. Servers were friendly and proactive. Never had to wait for drink refills. This might be the first time I've ever given 5 stars to a sports bar. read more

Gotta get used to multiple servers at the bar but I actually appreciate it because I am never left wanting for another drink. More places should adopt this strategy. Bar type food is good, fancier food is good. They need a cider or two on tap but they do have Angry Orchard in bottles so if you are gluten free you'll at least have something to drink here. I would prefer either Angry Orchard Rose or Strongbow Rose, but I'll live. Patio bar is amazing when it's not too hot out. Pretty big and tables are placed so you don't feel like you're sitting on the next table over. Hate feeling cramped. read more

Always great food and people. Great menu and quality food for the price. Great environment.

TJ Chumps has the best ribs in the area! They have both outside seating and inside with many TVs for your sporting viewing. My wife and went there on Sunday evening and both ordered ribs and they were fall off the bone tender. We barely sit down and our drinks were at our table. We ordered an appetizer and it did not take long before it was delivered to us. Our drinks never got below half full, before they were filled. The servers ( Ariel and Megan) were outstanding and worked as a team to make sure we were always taken care of. Ariel and Megan are two of the best servers I have seen and both deserve accolades for sure. Please give Ariel and Megan a big thank you and let them know they made our experience a exceptional one. I would give Ariel and Megan the highest rating possible. Thank you! read more

We eat here about once a week since it has something for everyone. There are healthy food choices if you desire. I like that they offer a spinach salad, much more than just an iceburg lettuce salad. It's not all deep fried bar food as mentioned above. They have a variety of soups as well. I also like the Chipotle Ham sandwich and the Reuben sandwich. The staff does not let you go without a beverage, as any server will stop to refill your drink. My understanding is that they also have a wide variety of beers if you are into more than just the standard Budweiser products. It can be loud, and it is packed when there are sporting events. We like TJ Chumps better than many of the restaurants up by Fairfield Commons. We've never had to wait for a table on a Friday night. read more

Mmmmmm! I love the chili here! I'd highly recommend it! But make sure to get all the fixings added to it (cornbread, jalapeños, cheese, sour cream, etc). This places appears to be a typical sports bar but has a great house menu. Great place for quick food or a long night of drinks. read more

Love this place and had it delivered twice now and still doesn't disappoint. The potato pizza is my favorite

Salads are fantastic! best ranch ever! Good wings! Iced tea wasn't the best though. Got the chicken portabello salad I swapped lettuce instead of spinach leaves and man was I impressed! read more

Decided to try Fairborn TJ Chumps for a change at lunch today. I'll be back. I order online choosing my pickup time. I arrived 5 minutes early-my lunch was ready all I had to do was sign the cc recipt. The food was good, warm, and nicelt presented. I was greeted as soon as I entered. What a nice substitute for my usual fast food lunch. read more

A wonderful place to visit during Covid! We ate outside on their patio that was spaced out wonderfully, more than 6ft between tables. They even expanded into their parking lot to add tables with umbrellas. There food was awesome and had a variety to choose from. Highly recommend! read more

Meh. The food is pretty good, but the prices are too high. The soft pretzel appetizer is $7.99 and comes with three 4-inch-long pretzel sticks. Really? There was a cup of beer cheese which was okay, and a cup of that gross fake cheese from a can. The pretzels were good but not $7.99 good. The turkey wrap used slimy lunch meat turkey and not real turkey like everywhere else, for $8.99. The chipotle ranch was way too hot. Nearly everything comes with chips and if you want fries instead it's $2 extra. The food is just not worth the price. I will not return. read more

The success of the Chump is that the beer is cold and the food is fried. Those are the two secrets that keep the parking lot full. It is Fairborn after all and while the Waffle House is across the street they don't serve beer, cold or otherwise. The restroom was clean and yes that counts too. Cold beer, fried foods, clean restroom. That is 4 stars in Fairborn it is rockin. read more

Just pretty much terrible. I live right around the corner, so I keep giving it a chance because I want so badly for it to be a great place to eat and hang out. But every darn time I go, it is just terrible. First of all, the food. Appetizers, for example, the chips and salsa are thick, almost stale-ish chips from a bag and what I swear is Pace salsa from a jar. Uck. My poor husband ordered a soup that literally had canned chicken in it. I swear! He's not even a picky eater and he could barely finish it. Service is hit or miss... sometimes great but most often, preoccupied or just busy gossiping about other employees/bosses/diners, etc. I sure hope it turns around - it has great potential w/the sweet patio, decent location and advertising itself as making their food in-house! What, do they can their own chickens!? I mean, really, people... read more

A couple of friends and I tried this new location for happy hour right after it opened. We were disappointed to be told that the food specials didn't kick in until after 6 PM, so you can get drink specials during HH, but no food. I told our server that according to their website, half price pizza was the HH special. She went back to check it out and returned, telling us that they would honor that......the pizza was okay, but we prefer 1/2 price appetizers with happy hour, not after. We tried it and most likely will not return; too bad as it is a great location for all of us. read more

According to a direct mail piece I received this weekend, TJ Chumpps is now offering delivery to a limited area! This could prove to be a huge deal for them since the only other delivery offered around Fairborn is Chinese and pizza. read more

This place is consistent: great food, friendly service, and a decent variety of beer. I used to frequent Caddys but they have seemed to go downhill lately in terms of food and service. read more

Stopped in after a kids soccer game. I had a hamburger which was very mediocre at best. Seemed to be mostly filler. Child had wings medium, she only ate 4 of 12 because she said they were not good. I tried one, they tasted like they're out of the bag. We won't be returning. We ate on the patio, nice spring day and there was a smell of sewage. The waitress said they get that from the creek next to the restaurant. Last, I mentioned this place to a buddy and he said he would have discouraged us from going there. He used to live in the area. How does this place stay in business? Guess, I should have known by the name....not Champs but Chumps! read more

Our favorite place for food and drinks in Fairborn. Superior service and you must try the swordfish sandwich and ribs.

I love this place. The sushi grade salmon sandwich could possibly be the best thing on the menu. The blackberry margaritas are pretty tasty too. Typically you never have to wait to be seated because the place is pretty big. If I'm in the area it's typically because I'm going here. read more

Good food, clean place. Servers generally seem to enjoy their jobs and seem to do a good one at that. Lots of TVs. Plenty of specials. Chairs on the patio suck unless you like to recline back and stair at the stars. Plenty of parking. Over good place to get a quick bite or hang out with friends. read more

Great wings. Servers were pushy with drinks...kept drooping them off too us when we never asked...she claimed they were by accident. However food and service good and lots of different people there. Seemed like mostly milatary, however all people were friendly. Plenty of tv ' s and sport like theme. read more

No a huge fan of this place. Clean and nice looking but I am not impressed with the food at all. Only redeeming quality is the size of the salad is huge. read more

Chumps is right, I brought my emotional support dog with paperwork to the patio, ordered food, then the manager told us to leave. As an ER nurse in a trauma bay, also sexual assault nurse, including care of children of assault and molestation, my hypoallergenic non shedding lap dog certainly serves me to keep my wits together from all the trauma I attend to. Thanks for nothing read more

I frequent this place every chance I get. Great wings and the service is usually very good but lately has been hit and miss. Most of the time the service is over the top with every person in the wait staff helping you but other times it is like everyone has forgotten you or you can hear the bartender yelling all over the store. read more

Food is subpar. Brussel sprouts were so burnt they looked like roadkill. When we complained they just offered to add more sauce.

We moved to Fairborn from Toledo a few months ago and are pretty particular about our sports bars (classy, I know). We have been here several times and absolutely love it! It really is a great family atmosphere (been here with our nephews, and they said it was "the best food ever"), and also with friends and family for a few drinks. We stayed one night after a few too many and unfortunately did not take into consideration that taxis are not as easy to get a hold of in Fairborn as they are in Toledo. We waited and waited for one to no avail and eventually the manager gave us a ride home. We cannot thank him enough for this exemplary level of customer service! Please note, he absolutely did NOT have to do this, and we know now to plan ahead a little better. Please don't take this review as an invitation to get a ride from your server/manager. Just had to clarify! Thanks again, Chump's! :) read more

Not sure how you order online. The yelp page says open till 11:00 PM, I tried to order at 10:10 PM, it just says, won't let you complete the order. Doesn't tell you the reason why either. Place may have good food (wish I could tell you), but a crappy web page. read more

I received a response from them and they apologized for the error. I was sent a gift card to correct the mistake, so I will keep using them for delivery. read more

Small food selection and what you get defiantly doesn't look like the pictures. Service was pretty rough too. Took awhile to get my food and a bit longer for the bill. This place is ok but not really top of my list read more

If your definition of a great drink is the amount of alcohol content then this place gets an A+. I thought it may have been bartender dependent the first time I came here, but the second time my drink was just as strong. The food is also very tasty and reasonably priced. read more

I would come here every weekend a few years ago. I decided to take my family there today. The only person who was helpful was the manager. They screwed up everything we ordered- salad no cheese and wings no ranch. Got the cheese and the ranch. The wings were very greedy without flavor. Super disappointed. Only reason for the two stars is the manager who helped me with my salad dressing. Just a shame. read more

Good service, food, and a different variety of beer on draft. I'll definitely be back.

Great place to go and hang out with friends. The wings are fantastic, and love this place.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! What has happened to this place? My friends and I used to go here, but the last few times, food was BAD! Yesterday we ordered chicken fingers and fries, and the chicken looked like small fish sticks and had lots of chunks of fatty pieces in it. Food looked like it was just thrown on the platter. Sorry, but this place just lost several local regular customers today... read more

boneless hot wings were great going in, horrible coming out. 10/10 would NOT recommend. profusely vomited for 12 hours. TJ Chumps will NOT be catering my wedding. read more

This is a great place to grab a bite to eat. The prices are reasonable and the food was really good! I got a burger and it was quite delightful and I will surely be returning. They have a wide selection of food and they have a full bar which is nice. If your looking for a place to just kick back and relax maybe catch a game on the TV and have a cold one accompanied by friendly staff this is a place to go. The establishment is always busy but it's actually not loud or cramped in there. Will definitely be back! read more
