If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, Tizoc is the right restaurant for you. I have been a customer for a while. My family like their tacos and burritos. The restaurant is small, but they have multiple indoor seating. The service is always fast and great. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I have my favorite from their menu, but one day I will try many new dishes. For this visit, I  ordered Asada burritos, alpastor taco, Lingua taco. Their asada burritos is the best. It is huge and loaded with meat. We Enjoyed their lingua taco. It is the best flavorful and moist lingua I have ever had. Alpastor tacos was excellent as usual. Their rice and fried beans are very flavorful too. I totally recommend Tizo, authentic food,  nice staff and great customer service. read more

This is by far the best authentic Mexican food. I've been coming here for a number of years and their food is consistently delicious. The only thing that disappointed me is the size of their tacos, some how they shrunk in size this year. They used to be a full size tortilla now you'll get street taco size. Whenever I'm in B.P I definitely make it a point to stop at Tizoc. Everything is fire from their nachos to tortas. IMO they have some of the best asada, just saying! Small restaurant so definitely a spot for takeout. Employees are friendly and have a clean establishment. If you're in Baldwin Park check it out. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 # 85/100 Was craving torta but didn't want to drive all the way to DTLA for Wendy's. Wanted to check out this "hole in the wall" as one yelper wrote. Was pleasantly surprised that it's not actually a true "hole in the wall" but sort of a 'mom and pop' kind of establishment, where everybody knows everybody, and food coming to your table is reminiscent of those whipped up in the kitchens of abuelitas. So despite the many choices on their menu, I have already made up my mind to order the torta milanesa. Breaded beef cooked to perfection, fresh sliced tomatoes, lettuce, beans, avocado, and jalapeños, in between a slightly toasted telera roll (bread used for torta/sandwich). Got some pickled carrots, yellow chilies, green salsa and it was on! It was so good I finished the whole thing, minus a few bites from my sis and son who wanted to try it too. Still that sandwich was huge. My sister got the camarron a la plancha. I tried a piece of the shrimp, with some rice and beans. It was good, but nothing compared to the explosion in my mouth created by the torta. My boy got the al pastor burrito with everything. It was really good too. Saturday's and Sunday's they serve menudo. I've already marked that tidbit in my calendar. read more

I've been coming here for over 15years. Man has this place changed! Food isn't good anymore and the prices are way more expensive then other Mexican restaurants. Always check your receipts and ask what you are being charged for. The last two times that I've gone they've charged me extra for things and I have to tell them. Then to top it off the food is burnt.
