    Walking up to their estate
    Shayla B.

Wooowza! Titus completely blew us away! Our visit was literally so perfect. Mouthwatering wines alongside the most dreamy vineyards views, paired with exceptional service. This one was definitely one for the books! My friend and I came here for a tasting and nearly closed the place! I mean, it was just so relaxing and fun. I don't think I've ever lounged at a winery for so long before aside from attending a wine event. When we walked in for our reservation, Mike warmly greeted us. Speaking of Mike; this man is phenomenal!!! If you have the pleasure of tasting with him, you are seriously in for a real treat. Mike took us on an impromptu tour of their estate. We walked through the barrel room and their production site. I was so pleased with how knowledgeable and engaging he was. Even during our tasting, he knew exactly when to stop by for our next pour and when to check in on us without being overbearing. He is so observant. You can tell when someone has been in the service industry for a while. He is just excellent with people. A true customer service superstar. Please give this man a raise!!! The tasting room itself is absolutely divine. It's so chic and beautifully designed. We arrived during a time when there wasn't anyone there, so we were able to walk around and have the place all to ourselves for a moment. The outside views will take your breath away. Sweeping views of their vineyards and beautiful Napa Valley right before your eyes. We didn't wanna leave. It was so magical. The wines, the WINES, the wiiiines!!! I savored every single one that we tried. Every. Single. One. Mike even poured us some wildcard varietals that weren't on the current tasting menu. Just so, so delicious. They also provided some tasty winery snacks to pair with the wines that we were trying. Their Sauvignon Blanc was so crisp and citrusy. Perfect for hot day sipping! Their Zinfandel has all of the characteristics that I adore in a Zin; jammy, fruit forward, and round with a little spice. But my fave was their Cab Franc! Just WOW! So smooth and balanced with this amazing lingering finish. I purchased all three wines and we ended up opening the Cab Franc for dinner at Charter Oak restaurant that same night. It tasted absolutely phenomenal. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we lost track of time. We didn't realize that we had been there a little past closing time. Not once were we interrupted or rushed. We were just comfortable. This is the kind of winery that you could stay at all day. We truly had a terrific time. I cannot wait to come back again! Highly, highly recommended by yours truly. This is the best of St. Helena.

Even though we arrived, mistakenly, a day earlier for our appointed time, they accommodated us without hesitation. Yessenia was friendly and informative, guiding us through our tasting of awesome wines on their covered deck. Some of the best wine we tasted during our recent stay in the valley.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Titus Vineyards. The winery building is newer, but comfortable and chill. Our host was knowledgeable and took his time to describe the wines and share history of the winery. He's been working there for quite some time. We sat outside on the patio with the vineyards nearly in reach. We couldn't leave without buying a case. Here's another winery I recommend you add to your list of places to stop when visiting Napa Valley.

The Sauvignon blanc 4 % Viognier is excellent! We can't wait to try the 100% Viognier. Olivia was exceptional and was a pleasure to visit with. We will definitely be back. It was quite windy and we sat inside which has an industrial vibe. We can't wait to go back to sit outside and admire the view. The wines are fantastic and we purchased every wine in the flight. Yes, we will be back!

Wow, what a great experience and surprise. These wines were delicious, and our hostess Lili was fantastic. She was so sweet, kind, knowledgeable, and fun! The wines are great but she made the experience. I highly recommend visiting and tasting here!!! This property is beautiful, and very welcoming. Joined the club and took a bunch of wines home! Can't wait to come back!

Great varietals at Titus, love the tasting room and overlook of the vineyards. Also great how every varietal they make into wine is available to taste as fruit off the vine very cool. Been there several times and buy every single time! Nice people great wines...tastings by appt

I don't fully remember how I found Titus Vineyards, but am so glad I did. Their wines are so good and price for value (especially for Napa) is great, you can find a good bottle or whites or reds for $30-60. They do have more expensive bottles at $80-100 that are also really good. We ended up joining their club during the first visit and I stop by the tasting room, either to taste or to pick up a few bottles, almost every time I'm in Napa. The winemaker also makes wines for Chappellet, larger another great winery. Titus seems lesser known relative to big name wineries in Napa but it checks off all the boxes for me and it is high on my list of recommendations. More at finevining.com IG @fine.vining Cute for pictures: 4/5 QPR: 5/5, average price $35-150 Main varietals: Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Bordeaux varietals Tasting fee: $40. What a wonderful time we had. Our host, Melissa, was knowledgeable and fantastic. The wines, mostly blends, were excellent and, by Napa standards, very fairly priced. The COVID protocols were followed to a T. The patio tasting was in a gorgeous setting. It was our first time here and it won't be the last. My favorites were the Cab Franc and shockingly, a Malbec. I'd all but sworn off malbecs but theirs was delightful and we walked away with two bottles. This is a nice family winery and well worth a visit.

My wife and I visited Titus last week as part of a 3 day/2 night trip in Napa for our wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful experience. I hate to have this caveat, but being completely objective I feel it's only fair to point out it was a post-harvest Tuesday morning in October. In short, we were the only ones there, so our host Melissa was able to devote a lot of time to us, which really made for a great experience. We were able to take all the time we wanted and had pleasant conversation with Melissa as well, and not just about the wine and the winery. There was also no pressure to join a wine club, which I really appreciate. Everything we tasted was excellent and the wine prices themselves are very reasonable for the appellation and single vineyard or estate grown wines. We ended up buying some bottles of the Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Also as an aside, if you have a Total Wine near you, a selection of their wines are available there. The tasting room is a brand new building with a modern and minimalist design. I thought it was quite pretty, but again it was just us so I can't speak to the noise level if it was busy. Another nice feature is right off the patio there are some demonstration vines where you can see all the different varietals and pick a few grapes, etc. If anyone from Titus is reading this, I'm not a big Yelp reviewer guy, but I wanted to do this just for Melissa because she really made the whole experience. Thank you Melissa!

Another wonderful winery with great wines, wonderful views and great service! Their merlot, Malbec and Cabs are delectable. Definitely a must visit winery for tasting!!!

Beautiful setting on the outdoor patio. View: 10, Wines: 3.

For years I've driven by Titus Vineyards on the Silverado Trail, passing right on by as I headed to other wineries. Finally I succumbed to my curiosity and booked an appointment for a tasting for two, and the bottom line is this: Five star experience, Two star wine. I easily booked an appointment about a week in advance by filling out an online reservation form on their website and I was contacted later that day with a cheery confirmation. When we arrived at the tasting room about 10 minutes before our scheduled time, the hostess looked puzzled and said that we weren't on the books. I pulled up my confirmation e-mail and she said that we had been marked as no-shows the day prior because someone entered the wrong info in their system. That's sort of embarrassing for me too because I'd never be a no-show, especially in Napa. Still, they were able to host us at our reserved time and on our reserved day. Tasting fees are quite steep at $45 per person, especially considering the quality of the wine. They will waive one fee with each 3 bottle purchase, but the per bottle prices average $55-$60 so this won't be an inexpensive endeavor. We were taken to a lovely outdoor table on a back patio with sweeping views of the nearby mountains and vineyards. It was quiet and secluded, even with the busy road nearby. The designers did a great job of making guests feel like they are away from it all, a nice little escape in wine country. We tried over half a dozen wines that were accompanied with a very nice cheese and nut plate as a palate cleanser. I know why the tastings come with snacks: the wines tasted much, much better with food. Yes, these aren't sipping wines or wines that will stand out when enjoyed by themselves. I didn't find one that I even remotely liked; everything tasted too "thin" for me. The noses were all big and fruity but I quickly learned that after the first sip most would ultimately be a letdown. I think these wines are best suited for someone just starting out in the world of California reds. They are easy enough to drink and just aren't hitting the marks when it comes to complexity. The wines aren't terrible nor are they undrinkable, but they place on the lower end of the "acceptable" scale for me. We purchased 3 bottles to give as gifts: one $79 Cabernet and two $52 Cabernet Franc bottles, and only one tasting fee was waived. I know that's the winery's printed policy but it still doesn't give you a good feeling when you didn't even like the wine much in the first place, you drop almost $200 on wine, and then you get socked with an extra $45 charge. I think wineries should always refund tasting charges when a purchase is made, or at least when people buy one bottle or more per person. The requirement of a half a case purchase for two people to get complimentary tastings is crazy. This is why I am rating this vineyard 3 stars. I just didn't like the wine. But it's a great starter winery for newbies to the Napa Valley! It's modern and sleek with floor to ceiling glass walls, quiet outdoor seating, and a gorgeous setting. The staff is super friendly and well versed on the history of winemaking and their product, and there's not a bit of snob factor going on at all. It's a great place to get your feet wet when trying different wines, to learn about the art of making wine, and to find out about many different varietals grown in the area. The snack plate paired with the pretty view makes for a lovely afternoon.

The views are stunning from the outside patio!! One of the best I have ever seen. Olivia was our wine host, she was friend and informative. The wines were really flavorful. It was a great wine tasting experience.

What a nice place to visit. We shared a tasting on the patio with friends. The sun was shining, the wine was pouring, the company was fantastic. I recommend this quiet patio for a tasting.

While working in St. Helena, I could never find an opening in a reservation, so here was a great opportunity now that all of us are retired. Our friends live in Clear Lake while we live in Vallejo, so this is a central place to meet. It was the best decision I made because every year for the past several anniversaries, we've gone to Cache Creek to C2. Their food and service is excellent because my husband enjoys poker, but I thought a change of scenery would be nice. And it was! Firstly, it was very kind of the staff to present us with a greeting card signed by everyone -- how sweet and thoughtful! We will cherish that! Secondly, we were very impressed with how the food/wine was locally sourced. It was incredible to hear the story about Custom, the Bull, and taste the difference between the Highland beef compared to Angus. Our waitress was "Erica S." She was engaging, personable, and very informative. My husband and I would definitely like to return to return to experience the dinner menu! We and our guests had the following dishes: Artichoke appetizer Arbororio Biscuits & Gravy Two Cheeseburgers Three Bloody Mary's Farmstead Margarita When they found out it was our anniversary celebration, the house sent over four glasses of complimentary champagne and a dish of dessert -- again, very sweet and kind of them I now understand why so many crowds flock to this restaurant! It's well worth the wait! If you have not experienced a meal there, you must definitely go now!

From the beginning, there seemed to be constant miscommunication between staff. We specifically booked an outdoor reservation and were seated inside instead. While mistakes happen, it set the tone for the rest of the evening. The bigger issue involved the wine and corkage fee. We purchased a bottle directly from the market associated with the restaurant and were told by the employee there that the corkage fee would be waived if we bought their wine. When we sat down, our server Sara told us that was not true and that we would still have to pay the fee. I explained what we had been told, and when she asked if I wanted a manager involved, I said yes. Before the manager even arrived or clarified the situation, the server opened our bottle of wine. In the silence and confusion, I reasonably assumed the fee issue had been resolved. Then the manager came over and told us we would still be charged and implied that nobody at the market would have told us otherwise. The way it was handled made my husband and I feel like we were being accused of making the whole thing up, which was especially upsetting on Mother's Day. At that point, the bottle was already opened, so we were essentially stuck paying the fee regardless. Between being seated incorrectly, the poor communication between employees, and how dismissive the situation felt, the service completely overshadowed what should have been a special meal. The rest of the service we felt ignored and there was minimal effort to accommodate. Great food alone is not enough to justify returning when the hospitality experience feels this frustrating and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, the online booking didn't work for me, so I had to call to make the reservation. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk gave me a bit of a weird vibe. After looking up our reservation, she said, "Oh, indeed you do have a reservation." It just felt like an odd response, like... why wouldn't we? is it because we're brown? We arrived a little early, so we spent some time browsing the gift shop upstairs. That's where we met our guide, Will, who was lovely, friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. I mentioned it was my husband's birthday, and he asked if we'd been given a birthday sticker. Apparently they offer special occasion stickers at the front, which the check-in woman never mentioned, but Will made sure we got one, which was a nice touch. My friends and I were limited in our wine knowledge and he admitted that he felt like all wine tastes the same. However, once we took our very first sip, the fruity, buttery notes completely changed our minds. She sets the image about drinking this near a pool and I immediately would get transported to her explanations. It was giving "Remy" from "Ratatouille" moment when you close your eyes and see/feel all the different imagery. Wow. What an unforgettable experience at PEJU, especially with the VIP treatment my friends and I…read morereceived from Todd Elliott, AKA to me as wine educator and sommelier extraordinaire! I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough! Todd went above and beyond to give us a VIP experience and even gave me a bag full of wine corks for my art project after I told him about this and asked for some of their wine corks we saw lined up in their wine uncorking and pouring area. Thank you, Todd!

I had a reservation for a classic tasting at PEJU at 1:30pm on a Friday, at the recommendation of…read morequite a few friends, and there were a few other parties seated at the time as well. The grounds are gorgeous inside and out, and I really enjoyed the stained glass, large open windows, and the statues and the koi pond area outside. The service was extraordinary, and I had a great time learning a bit about the different wines PEJU offers from Joseph. I tried quite a few different wines, and really liked how there are a few unique offerings here that you can't find elsewhere - I ended up getting a bottle of their Province, the Farm, and their late harvest orange muscat. PEJU is also one of the few wineries with a permit to serve food. If I had known ahead of time, I would've planned to eat here! The rilettes were super tempting, but Joseph advised that if I was planning to eat a meal afterward to stick to the chips and dip - this ended up being quite a generous portion as well, and I really enjoyed the goat cheese truffle dip alongside the wine tasting :) Overall, PEJU is definitely a beautiful winery to visit with excellent service, and I'll definitely be back!

Such a GREAT experience!…read more I left San Francisco with no concrete direction in mind and originally ended up at Joseph Phelps. Unfortunately, they couldn't take me without a reservation. I was a bit hurt, but they graciously directed me to Alpha Omega Winery instead--and I am so incredibly glad they did! The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and this was my very first time visiting. Although I wasn't able to sit outside, I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the water feature and the outdoor settings, which looked spectacular on such a sunny day. The team here went above and beyond to make me feel welcome: * The Valet and front of the House Staff were super friendly, very kind, and immediately accommodated me. * Andrew W. stepped in to ensure I was completely taken care of. He started me off with a glass of Rose, which was absolutely perfect for the beautiful weather. He was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable, explaining the wines beautifully. I chose the Signature Selection tasting and was highly impressed by the quality. A few major standouts for me: * The Chardonnay: Exceptionally well-crafted. * The Bordeaux-style Blend: Deep, complex, and memorable. * The Merlot-dominant Wine: Smooth and deeply impressive. The hospitality here completely turned my day around. Next time, I will absolutely make a reservation in advance and bring my friends along!

The atmosphere is so peaceful but still lively in the best way. You'll see people with their dogs, good music playing, and everyone just soaking in the experience. It's the perfect balance of relaxed and upscale. Whether you're there to wine taste or just hang out and take it all in, it's always a win. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Napa!
