Travis was referred to me by a coworker who had a very good experience with her bathroom remodel. I was looking for the same type of work, so I contacted Travis. He showed up promptly for the estimate and assured me that he could do the entire remodel within a 2 week timeframe and under 10K. And this is where the trouble started.... After I received the quote in my email, I contacted Travis about starting work. (Initial estimate was dated Feb) but I was out of country for a few months, so we scheduled for May. Memorial weekend came and went and when I didn't hear from him, I reached out. He told me he was busy through June. We then scheduled for July. July 4th came and went. He is terrible at communicating. Every time I texted him, he asked who I was. He apparently does not need the work so I hired another contractor to do the job and it turns out much less $ than Travis quoted. I would not recommend him to anyone. We hired Titan for a shower remodel and ended up having to hire another contractor to rip out a large portion of the new shower they installed because it did not properly drain. Since they took no responsibility for the errors in their work and would not agree to repair it, we had to pay the new contractor an additional $2k to get our shower completed and working. During demolition of Titan's work, several additional errors in construction were unveiled. We would not use them again, nor could we recommend them in good conscience. read more

Had to share this business because we are so happy with their work! We bought a new house and had tons of stuff to do there and at the house we're selling in Chandler. Travis is honest, reasonably priced, neat, efficient and his work is top notch. He communicates with us via phone and e-mail so we always know what he's doing and what his plans are. He has fixed drywall, installed canned lights, ceiling fans, chandeliers, ceiling lights, wall sconces, mounted TVs, removed huge mirrors and re-textured the walls, did some reconstruction work re-designing where our TV is mounted, moved cabinets up, stripped, refinished and sealed a dock, is re-building a custom sized door and repaired some water damage under our sink. He has gotten all of that done in two weeks! I couldn't recommend this company enough. Very good friends referred Titan to my wife and I. I wrote a mature, professional email to Travis at Titan with the painting specifics, my contact number, and address. I quickly knew from Travis' responses that he was not going to portray Titan in a professional light. The emails had an air of laziness and that we should probably expect only sub-standard work from Titan. Travis barely managed to respond with a day and time for the estimate at my home. Two minutes later, I responded that I would see him then (Confirmation). I would love to tell you you're wrong, but you guessed it- Travis was a NO SHOW! When I reached out to him to see if he was coming, he blamed me that he never got a confirmation from me and, in a dismissive and unprofessional manner, said we have to reschedule. So, I promptly sent him the email string that showed my confirmation. Now, zero response back, zero apology, and most importantly, zero responsibility. As I have seen from other Yelp reviews, Titan accepts zero responsibility. If Titan can maintain a 50% negative Yelp review and make a friend's referral look bad, then they won't be a business very long. read more

My house is an older home and isn't built like typical homes so I know the tile and wood floors were very difficult to make look good with the oddly built floor design, but they turned out better then how I imagined them to be. If you like how you are treated by airlines, you'll love Titan Home Improvements. I had Travis come to give an estimate for replacing drywall, then we agreed on a time for him to come fix it. We made these arrangements over e-mail, so there should have been no confusion about it. On the day he was supposed to show up I wanted until 20 minutes after his scheduled arrival time and then called him. He said I was not on the schedule. I said I had e-mails to back it up. He said he would check his e-mail and call me back. While I was waiting, I forwarded the relevant e-mails to him. He did not call me back. Probably he was too cowardly to own up to his mistake face to face, or even over the phone. Instead, I got an e-mail (this is the beginning of June by the way) saying that he had double-booked the day and "we will need to rebook towards the end of august [sic]." I responded that I had already made arrangements to be home on the scheduled day, and had already moved everything out of the room he was supposed to work on. He did not respond. I asked him if he had a response, and again he did not respond. He was probably hoping this would all just go away. Instead, it is all going on yelp. After some very curt email exchanges (should have gotten the clue that He was not serious or interested then), We decided to meet at said time. I moved things around at work so I could meet him in the middle of the day. I show up on time and there is no sign of him. I wait around for 20 minutes and then googled up his number (yeah, he never furnished his phone number in the emails although I had given him mine). He picked up his phone after 3/4 attempts and casually mentioned He was in Best buy and We had to re-schedule. What the H***? He doesn't have the professionalism to show up as promised, nor the decency to call if He cannot, even though I confirmed with him that morning about the appointment. Had Travis quote some (very) simple work that, unfortunately, I am unable to do myself due to HUD contract. Quote was alright: Hang a couple doors, fire alarm and cap an electrical outlet (like i said, minor stuff). Got the quote back in April with the expressed understanding that the work would HAVE to be done within 30 days of closing (likely in June). Here we are in June. Called multiple times over a few days and when I finally got a hold of him he stated he is booked until the 16th on July, and he will be out until the end of August. Which (as earlier stated) won't work because of a contract we have with HUD. Hugely inconvenient. Wouldn't recommend Titan to anyone. read more
