The kitchen required removing a wall to open up the closed dark kitchen and adding an oversized bar. Eric was extremely timely and professional in getting us a comprehensive quote. He was also extremely affordable as well. He started work right away and did a phenomenal job. We gave him pictures of what we wanted for the kitchen and fireplace, and he replicated the style to a T - which most contractors can't do without a designer helping them. He also was able to design and order custom cabinets for our pantry. Eric was extremely detail oriented throughout the process, checking in with us as needed for style and safety decisions, and always updated us on cost or possible delays. He also was insanely knowledgable about every area of construction such as dry wall, plumbing, electrical, fabrication, flooring, tiling, etc. This guy really is a one man show - he can do it all. Eric did have a few subcontractors help him with the job and they were always fantastic to work with as well. He knows quality workmanship and partnership. He finished the job in a timely timeframe and our home is gorgeous and the workmanship is quality - for a great price. If you need any renovations done, Eric with E.L. Construction is the way to go. He didn't try to upsell or act too fake or flattering like some of the salespeople at other companies do. We communicated mostly over email with Jeana, who was kind and responsive as well. The install went very smoothly and only took an hour or so. My only downside was that it took about a week longer than we were told to have it completed, and I had to reach out via email a few times to get updates instead of being updated. But Joe listened to my feedback and told me how the process works waiting for materials. I also sent them photos of some marks on the counter I thought I saw, and they sent someone out to clean and buff it and make it like new again. The paperwork and payment were all online so it was very easy to do. Overall a smooth process and good work done.

If I could wait a couple more days, Tadd could do not only the (glass) wall tile but also remove the laminate and tile the bathroom floor. Both of them worked together really well. It's a tiny, tiny bathroom--25 sq feet of floor space outside the shower. Adding the gray tile makes it feel so much larger. Tadd was friendly but got right to work and was on task the entire day. He cleaned up everything after he was finished and removed all the excess tile and debris and left the bathroom clean. I'll hire him again soon for the next bathroom!

What was completed: Shelving for 3 walk in closets and a pantry were removed and drywall refinished to blend with knockdown texture. 2 large drywall holes patched and texture matched. I'm doing the painting myself. This was a professional and pleasant experience. The only thing I would say could e improved was if more masking tape was used for the outlets and light switches. Extremely upset with the lack of care and work that was done. As you can see in photos original tile wasn't completely removed properly that its showing off the side. And tiling does not line up with countertop. A drawer was to be replaced and was never done. The paint on the cabinet are horrible. The color is not what was requested... it's far from a deep navy blue. The hardware on all cabinets were painted over. Looks terrible. * also adding photo of drawers that were meant to be repaired. We feel completely taken advantage of. I'd keep a close eye on their work if I were you.
