We hired Titan to build a fire pit area, walkway, install landscaping, spray grass seed on our back hill, install a retaining wall at the back under the deck, and build a dog run under the deck. And we absolutely LOVE the result! It's exactly what we wanted and asked for. Alex and everyone else was super communicative, helped walk us through every step, worked with us on choosing the right supplies to make sure everything looked great, and were just overall fantastic to work with. We had them come last year and install a retaining wall in the front along with some landscaping and were so happy with that, we chose them to complete the backyard portion. Alex and his crew placed waterproofing on a portion of our house foundation. They also removed brush and trees. They regraded the lot on the front and side of the house. They also placed new topsoil. Because of bad weather they will return next spring to hydro-seed the lot. We are very happy with the work they have done so far. I asked the estimator to do some hardscaping in my front lawn. I had a crudely drawn out picture, which we discussed and I believed that he understood. The estimate came through and reflected what we talked about. I paid the nearly $7,000 and was not given what I asked for in any way shape or form. I talked to the estimator and I can't tell if he didn't communicate to the team or lied or what, but it was a complete mess. Then when it had to escalate to Todd, the owner, I had to talk to him several days in a row. Each day he didn't remember what we talked about, what he said he would do, or what I was even calling about. I seriously think that illicit substances or excessive consumption of grown up beverages was impacting their ability to communicate and remember. It was horrible, and my yard still looks like crap because they actually made it go from boring/nothing to half completed crap. Its not worth the time to take them to small claims but someone should. they're a total sham. read more

Their reply to my google review promised this was not how they operate and they will do absolutely everything to fix it, but that's all for publicity since I called them repeatedly over the next 5 months and they never returned a single call. Clearly their word is meaningless, as are their legal contracts. They manipulated their online presence to sound reasonable and professional, yet they are anything but that. This was the second big job we did with Titan and the work is beautiful. They were slammed this summer and we weren't sure they could finish it but they did the work in record speed and finished the day before it snowed! The rock retaining wall they built is gorgeous and they put in lovely steps by our awful steep driveway. Met with Alex early summer to get our deck re-decked with composite wood. Stated that it would be done within 2-3 days and could start the following week. Went over the price and work that needed to be done. Well 3 weeks later his "wonderful" sub contractor shows up. This guy would only work 3-4 hours per day, when he showed up, reeking of alcohol. Just over 3 WEEKS LATER, he finally "completed" the job. Alex never followed up on the job, poor communication, and never came out to do a walk around that he stated he would do. No bracing was done to the deck, steps are slanted, and one of the boards is splitting where it was cut around rail post. Sub contractor helped himself to some of the extra boards that I paid for. Reckless driving of their company truck and stopping in the middle road. Although there were a couple of empty parking spots next to them, the driver decided to stop in the middle of the D Street, between 4th and 5th Ave blocking the one-way street traffic, not even turning on the hazard lights. A girl then came out of the truck, went to her parked car nearby, stayed for a couple of minutes and came back. During the whole time, myself and a couple of other cars behind me we're stuck, and people from the 5th Ave were unable to turn into D St. If you can't drive, then don't. I needed a fence yesterday. Not knowing who to call, I started calling multiple fence contractors. Unanswered messages..... "Our bidder will get back to you" Apathy.... Etc... I figured out right away that most fence companies play the game with cheap skate homeowners who go for multiple bids, who go with the lowest bidder. These fence companies seem unmotivated to get on it. They are behind 2 plus weeks on getting someone to your property to give you a quote. Knowing the chances you'll go,with them are ....20%? You want a cheap fence? Wait two,weeks for the lowest bidder to get back to you and another,two+ weeks for,them to start. Good luck on the quality. I've had experience years ago with the guy whose spouse answers the phone and works out of his garage.... you want cheap....go for it buddy. First off, I didn't want a cheap ass fence. I didn't want a fence built under a budget crunch, with workers financially motivated to cut corners. I just wanted a GOOD fence, NOW! Yeah yeah yeah, i could've done it my self and done a fantastic job. But I'm 53' I have a good job, I'd rather do what I do best and pay someone who does what they do best. Enter TITAN contractors. They do private and commercial landscaping. And fences. I called titan, left a message, two days later their bidder Bryce, got on it. He was the only fence contact that picked up on my motivation. I had a general price that day, 10 days later I had a fence. It's a great 6' heavy gauge chain link fence. 355' long. On a funny note, I've had two fence bidders finally get back to me, Now that my fence is done. Is that what you want? I didn't think so. Call Bryce at Titan. You'll be glad you did. read more

We were looking for a company that could do some fence repair and building along with landscaping. Titan seemed like a good fit and although the estimate was higher than we expected, we were happy to get it done by one company and by then end of the summer. But, we ended up very disappointed. Alex (estimator) forgot many of the items we originally discussed, couldn't keep things straight, and kept adding to the overall cost of the project. His communication was terrible, and with him being the middle man between us and the actual people working, it became very frustrating. The landscaping work was good, but no one asked us where we wanted the shrubs that we picked out which would have been nice. The fence work on the other hand looks like we tried to do it ourselves with no attention to detail: slats not even, rough holes made for latches, cheap latches (one broke the first time used), etc. They also pushed the old rotten pieces of wood from the previous fence into my neighbors yard and never followed through on promises to return and trim sections of the fence and posts that were left sticking up above other sections. In the end, we paid much more than the original estimate even though we clearly told Alex what we wanted and they did not truly finish the project. I would definitely NOT recommend using Titan for any project! read more

We paid to have a fence and landscaping at our new built house. The fence was better than average and I would recommend Titan for a fence. The landscaping is another story. The crew drove a small tractor over the area as they spread the dirt. We told the crew this was compacting the dirt but they continued. They sprayed the hydroseed after a windstorm where the lawn was covered with leaves and twigs. They sprayed on TOP of these items. We watered as directed, but the area that was compacted pooled the water and became a muddy mess as it couldn't drain. Come spring time, some areas of grass were sprouting just fine, while the area of the compacted soil and leaves/twigs were anemic looking. We called multiple times to Titan and was told it was the cool spring (even though some areas were doing fine.) When we finally got them out here to look at the lawn, they said our 40 pound dog had compacted our soil. (???) Titan took no responsibility in the condition of our lawn and offered an 'at cost' hydroseed discount with no dirt work. My husband is now tilling the soil, pulling out giant rocks. We will put down fresh top soil and packaged hydroseed to turn this into a DIY project. I wish we would have done this in the first place. I do NOT recommend them for lawn-work. They do not stand by their work/product. They are responsive up until the final payment is made, then they just ignore communication. read more

If you are looking for a trustworthy, honest, reliable, and dependable contractor - don't use Titan LLC. I hired them this fall (2019) and I am so disappointed with their customer service, professionalism, and lack of integrity. I will never use Titan LLC again and am posting this so hopefully others can be aware of my experience. This is a brief synapses of how the contract with Titan failed. - Failure to provide agreed upon services itemized on a signed and binding legal document. They ignored and disregarded specific items on the contract after it had already been signed and half of the payment had been made. - For example: the contract stated I would get 2 gates - each measuring 10 foot. I did not receive 10 foot openings, this was field verified by myself and their representative. - another example is the contract stated I would get 6x6 posts. Unknown to me, 4x6 posts installed were installed without my consent or approval. This was also verified after the fact with a visual inspection by myself and their representative. When issues began to surface, Titan response was unprofessional and inappropriate. For example, when the errors where brought to Titans attention, their representative stated, in writing, that a even though the verbiage was inaccurate on a signed and binding legal document that it doesn't amount to a reduction in price. In an attempt to try to mitigate their error, the representative stated I was to receive aluminum gate supports, though not in contact, at no extra charge. This was also provided in writing. However, that didn't happen as I received metal framework. When these errors and concerns were brought to Titans attention, rather than attempt to remedy the situation, they responded with a lack of response and follow through and more importance placed on getting the bill paid off than producing an agreement upon product and over all customer satisfaction. I again expressed my dissatisfaction with their lack of being proactive in rectifying the problems. This is a direct breach of contract and I paid thousands of dollars for a goods that were not delivered upon. I was asked several time how they could fix it. I asked for a reduced final bill. They said that they would remove a post to widen the gate openings. But Titan did not offer to replace the wrong size posts on either side of the openings. Their lack of professionalism is appalling. Never have I had a contractor demonstrate such blatant disregard of a contract or a customers concerns. I will never use them again or recommend them. read more

After reading about Titan's topsoil on their website, I was sure I was getting a great product to put in my raised garden beds. After buying it for double the price of a competitor and putting it in my garden, I've found the dirt contains lots of unwanted items like plastic, garbage and a lot of BROKEN GLASS. I called them twice to ask them where they got their dirt. The first time I called, the woman who answered acted very empathetic and told me she would have a manger call me to discuss. I waited a week and called again and asked again about the source of the dirt and why they hadn't called me. She rudely responded that they didn't know I had called and that she would have a manager call me. That was a month ago and I still haven't received a call. Based on the different objects I've found in my soil, I highly suspect they allow street sweepers to dump their loads on their site which they mix in with their soil. If this is the case, who knows what kind of toxins are in the soil. read more

I contacted Titan back in June 2019 asking for a quote for driveway repairs and to look at the rock retaining wall they built to determine if it needed repairs from the earthquake last November. They never responded. I called, emailed, called and called again. Titan was referred by an asphalt paving company to lay pavers at the top of our driveway. Titan kept regular communications with me. They offered suggestions on patterns that improved the project. They coordinated their work with the asphalt which reduced the time our driveway was torn up by 1 week. The asphalt company knocked a couple pavers a little out of place, and Titan straightened them up. Rain delays on the asphalt required schedule changes for Titan's pavers, but Titan adapted and got the job done. I would use them again and recommend them to friends and family. read more

I needed some black dirt/top soil for my garden, I have gotten topsoil in the past from a few places that are no longer in service and Titan was the closest to my house. I have a small truck so the loader would not fill my truck with a full load but charged me the $60.00 I didn't even get a discount and to top it off he wanted cash, which he pocketed asking as an afterthought if I wanted a receipt. Not only does Titan charge more than double the costs the dirt is terrible, it is full of rocks, once in the garden bed it cemented up like a brick and I already have weeds sprouting. Don't get your black dirt from Titan it is NOT worth what they charge you for. read more

I am less than satisfied with the service I received from Titan. First I was told that the topsoil I had ordered was to be delivered on Friday inbetween 12-5pm. It was never dropped off, so I called the next morning to see why my soil was not delivered. The gentleman I talked to claimed that the driver tried to contact me yet I do not have one missed call. You would then think the company would make every effort to get the soil out it my house immediately. 3 hours go by and no topsoil. I call again, I'm now told 45 minutes. Over an hour later, I call again. Driver is in Eagle River on his way, if the dirt is off of C street why is the driver in Eagle River. Thanks but no thanks, you made no effort to fix your mistake and wasted my valuable time. I will never be using your service again and urge others not to contact you either. read more

I purchased $2800 worth of top soil from titan llc. On delivery I found a large piece of broken glass, about half the size of the palm of my hand. I showed it to the delivery driver. I hoped that it would be the only piece and continued on hopefully. As I spread the soil I found 8 more such pieces. Many pieces appeared to be from broken bottles, one very large one from a car headlight. I also found many more(maybe 50) very small pieces of broken glass. I informed the company and long story short they sent out a representative to look. We walked around together and found several more pieces. They ended up offering me a discount on hydro-seed. I declined their offer siting the dangerous nature of having untold amounts of glass in my yard. I requested that they either cover the top soil with sod of which I would be willing to pay the difference of what I had planned to pay for hydro-seed, or they come remove their product and refund my money. These were the only resolutions I could imagine that would be safe for myself and young family. They replied, clearly frustrated, implying that the glass could have already been on my property, offering no other possible resolution, which I found very dishonest, as this was the first time they had not taken responsibility during the whole process. I just wanted a yard that I could let my children play on safely .I still hope to achieve some sort of reasonable and safe solution. The company claims integrity with words but exhibits none with their actions. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. read more
