She respected my time frame and was efficient and clear in her quote. I accepted the quote, and they were already booked for the season, and so let me know I would be on the list for spring. I contacted them last week to ask for a timeframe for scheduling. I received a call on Thursday afternoon, and they scheduled me for today, Monday of the following week. The installers came out this morning and I now have brand new gutters. The person I talked to on the phone was very knowledgable. My husband had requested a hooded gutter, and the representative showed me what a screened gutter looked like. He told me that hooded gutters in an area with a heavy snowfall encourage ice dams and are easily damaged, and gutter screens work much better for our climate. The installer were polite. They rang the doorbell to let us know they had arrived, and began their work. At the end of the install, they rang the doorbell again to let me know that they were done and to collect payment. On the not so good side. Field employees performing the work were less than professional and I would not say journeymen trade skills. They randomly showed up at house unannounced. Did not check in upon arrival or when they left For day or completed the work. Their design, installation and quality of workmanship very substandard. First rain showed a couple of spots no silicon or sealed corners at down spouts with leaks. Day after job completed. Initially, when we were discussing the job We requested the possibility of yanking off Christmas lights on Faccia boards and simply tossing on ground below since they were there. They stated there would be a nail removal and upcharge fee added to estimate for this request. I spoke to the manager of the company after his guys "finished job and left with a ridiculous final configuration of downspouts which posed a tripping hazard for young children and an eyesore and "who did this job?" To anyone that would observe it and there final product leaked! I would NOT refer or recommend these folks to anyone and there lack of communication and lack of professionalism puts you in dilemma so Iso I settle and save a few dollars OR pay a bit more and get a professional completed job by a company who takes pride other workmanship and commitment to customer service. I would advise future prospective clients ask for referrals to their past customers to see their finished work and have a chat with folks that have contracted them to perform work. If. I were to include pictures. You too would see that this gutter downspout is NOT under deck. It passes for 10 or 15 feet away from house at knee to shin height cutting off all access to under deck and all who look at it. Will go wow what's up with that? They cleaned all of my windows inside and out, cleaned the screens, and cleaned the window sills inside and out. No screens were damaged. I asked them to come back to do my gutters. They said they would, but I never heard from them again. Still, when a Groupon came up, I thought it was a safe bet for a quality job. It wasn't. When the crew called to ask if they could move their appointment up by two-plus hours, it was unprofessional for their number to reflect a stranger's name instead of the company's. They called a second time because they were running behind schedule after-all. No problem for me as I planned the afternoon around their job. However, they had the wrong time on their schedule despite the company sending me an appointment verification. Not a big deal, but I noticed the unprofessional discrepancy. Two young men arrived. The older one in charge was friendly, but as he handed me a blank form to fill out, he informed me I did not have 15 or so windows but 33. There was nothing in the Groupon ad to indicate that a single pane was a window by itself, no matter how large or small. The cost to fulfill the Groupon as described was going to cost almost $60.00 more than the $70.00 I'd already paid, almost doubling the price. They said something about 15 outdoor windows and offered to do just the outside windows and all the screens for the Groupon and leave it at that. I accepted the offer. Because I was confused and felt pressured to make a snap decision, it didn't occur to me until afterward that they said there were fewer outdoor windows than they'd said windows in total. If there were 33 windows to do both inside and out, then there are 33 windows of which to do only the outsides! Like I said, though, I was surprised and felt pressured to make a decision so I wasn't keeping up. The Groupon was for up to 25 windows inside and out and 180 minutes, so they believe 25 windows can take as long as 180 minutes. They were gone in 45 minutes or less. Upon inspection, I discovered a haphazard job. They didn't do my glass front door, my other glass screen doors and left filthy screens on them, and they didn't touch the block glass windows. In fact, there were quite a number of windows they didn't bother to clean. None of the screens on any windows were thoroughly cleaned. If there is dirt all along the bottoms of the screens, they weren't removed and really cleaned because water alone would have washed away dirt I can wipe off with my finger! All the screens were still dirty from a little to a lot and none that I checked as soon as they left even felt damp. It was obvious some them hadn't been touched along with the windows behind them. One high window was left with an icky film over it so now looking out the window is thickly hazy when it wasn't before they "cleaned" it! I will have to climb up there to wash it off when I shouldn't be on tall ladders. One screen requiring a ladder to reach it isn't back in place all the way so one strong wind will take it out. I have to climb up there to push it in, yet the reason I hired window washers at all is because climbing tall ladders is not safe for me anymore. All of the outside window sills are still filthy. If screens were removed, then those outside sills should have been cleaned as the glass was cleaned. Instead, the dirt is still there with added muddy streaks on the white vinyl from their squeegee splashes. I was understanding and cooperative about the scheduling confusion and the surprise "details" regarding how they assessed the number of windows. Despite already moving all of my furniture out of their way, preparing for easy access to all inside windows, I compromised and accepted their offer. In return I received shoddy service. Perhaps the Groupon deal was not good for them, but as a customer who accepted their Groupon offer, I deserved high-quality service. If they wanted me as a return, full-priced customer, they should have made that effort regardless of the cost to them. That's just good business. Further, I told them I'd been a full-price customer before so it was a no-brainer to do a quality job as there was a good chance I would be again. Yet they still did a rushed, shoddy job. I won't hire this company again.

Original installation 24 Aug. 2016, had several visual and functional issues that needed…read morecorrection: 1) Gutters not straight, resulting in low areas that do not drain and nasty looking oil canning. 2) Hack job at end of a too long gutter where it had to be cut by hand to fit resulting in jagged, uneven cut, metal shards, etc.. 3) Gutter section that ran downhill to a capped end, had nowhere to drain. 4) Gutter set so low on fascia that water ran over and past the gutter. 5) Screw(s) in gutter hangers that split the bottom edge of the fascia. 6) Both trims at both miters were installed grossly out of plumb and with up to 1/2" gaps between the trim and the bottom of the gutter. 7) Mismatched gutter lengths (one 1-1/2" longer than the other) at each side of the entry gable face. 8) Down spouts not installed plumb. I fixed the downspouts then called them, and several days later two kids came to 'fix' the problems. Some issues were corrected, but new ones were created: 1) Repairs resulted in more damage to the fascia and no offer was made to repair it. 2) The rear gutter still has a low spot that retains 1/2"+ of water, way towards what is supposed to be the high end: This was pointed out to the installer who argued that my eyes were wrong and his 3" pocket level is dead accurate. 3) Repairs left numerous holes in the back side of the gutter (visible from inside the home) and holes in the metal edge trim. None of which were caulked or sealed. 4) Numerous leaks (some significant) between the back side of the gutter and fascia. 5) A new, 12" long split in the fascia was noted after the crew left. 6) The trim at the front miter has fully separated from the face of the gutter on one side. 7) A gutter hanger found on the ground below a section of gutter that now is five feet between supports. Apparently dropped during the 'repairs' but never replaced. The installer gave me his phone number and asked me to call him if there were any other issues. I did. Three times in two days. Will be calling others tomorrow and will follow up here. Oct. 14; Three times a charm. Issues have been addressed and we now have an acceptable installation.
