I searched and got a selection of possibilities and read their listings. This was Friday afternoon and I was asking for service as soon as possible. I selected three and sent them a description of task, photos of my driveway and an estimate of measurements of the drive from our AS-Built at closing. I asked they respond with a price estimate and time they could do the job and provided my phone number in addition to the Yelp response. Fanter Services was the first to respond in both Yelp and call my phone with an estimate and a time at 10 am the next morning. The other two replied and one stated he could not take on additional customers this season. The third reply would have been possible but I had already responded to Fanter and booked them. He and his assistant arrived promptly at 10 am and contacted me so I could move our two vehicles. He proceeded to plow my unusual shaped driveway. It is reasonably flat and all concrete. But nearing the house it spreads to the left to park a vehicle and provides a path to the porch. On the right is a large two car shop with the driveway flowing at 90 degrees straight to the entrance. He plowed all those areas very at a very reasonable price. I asked if he could take us on as a regular customer and he agreed. I told him to return any time he thought appropriate or when it snowed over four inches. If it is a multiple day snow storm to wait until it quits before plowing. My first attempt at using his services and Yelp was outstanding.

The next day I receiveda call saying the had finished up at the other site and were headed to my place after they picked up shingles. They arrived and set up very quickly and got to work no wasted time talking drinking coffee excetera. They finished up in just a few hours and went around the yard picking up all the shingles that had been ripped off the roof by the high winds. I'm about to put my house on the market and I knew it was important to get that "curb appeal". I started Googling and Yelping and found several lawn care companies in Anchorage. I had several estimates done on my property and Lawn Savers was by far the lowest. I was hesitant to use their services as there weren't a lot of reviews out there, but figured since they were much lower priced than the others, I'd give them a shot. I called in early April and it was still freezing at night. They said they'd have to wait until it warmed up and they'd email me once they could head out to do the cleanup. He gave me options as far as upgrades and told me how much I could expect it to be and what it would cost to haul the bags away ($3 per bag). Sunday morning, the Lawn Savers truck showed up at my house. I was a bit surprised to see only one person there to do the work and assumed it would take him all day. I was very pleasantly surprised that it took him less than three hours and he did a fantastic job. The poor guy had to bag up 18 lawn bags of crap from my yard. He was very polite and let me know when he was leaving and that he'd be back to pick up the bags the next day. I would absolutely recommend Lawn Savers to anybody looking for yard cleanup.
