When I went out into the garden I was immediately covered in dead grass dust and leaves coming from my neighbors garden to the South Side, blown by steady 14mph winds with gusts over 30mph. This debris was being kicked up by at least two men wearing gas powered leaf blower backpacks. This debris covered our garden and decking with filth, got into our screen windows, covered our hot tub with filth. To do this on a day with such high winds was ridiculous and presented a nuisance and health risk from the allergens this company's actions released, which obviously included mold spores too. Just to add insult to injury the company vehicle was parked directly in front of my home partially obstructing my driveway whilst leaving the clients property unobstructed.

We've been extremely pleased with Be Happy's yard maintenance over the last few years. So pleased,…read morein fact, that we started using them for snow removal this year as well. From the office team to the crews, it's all about the customer and performing to the customer's expectations. During this year's snowstorms, there was constant email communication letting customers know what to expect and when (their plow crews were working around the clock). Jacob (the principal), is customer focused to the extreme. He has continuously solicited feedback and, when we've had some minor issues, resolves them right away. Today was a perfect example. I called the office to have them come out and "widen" the driveway a bit (snow mounds were encroaching just a bit onto the driveway). I was very clear -- this was not an urgent request, it was just tidying up the driveway a bit. Less than 20 minutes later there was a plow in the driveway taking care of the matter! We wholeheartedly recommend Be Happy for yard care needs or snow removal!

(Things happen no big deal) So I made another appointment. I have a 80' wide 20' deep driveway only one truck in the driveway with all that room and the estimator parks so close to the truck that the tenant can't open a door without hitting the estimator's parked truck. I said to him "Nice park job", probably hurt his feelings. We get to the apartment and he tells me what a good job they will do. After about 30 minutes he says he would get back to the office and email the estimate. A week goes by, nothing. So I call BE HAPPY again, a lady answers the phone and I ask where is my estimate? She says she would pass the info on to the estimator and to wait for a call. Another week goes by, nothing. I call again and a lady answers the phone and asked what kind of work was to be done. I searched and got a selection of possibilities and read their listings. This was Friday afternoon and I was asking for service as soon as possible. I selected three and sent them a description of task, photos of my driveway and an estimate of measurements of the drive from our AS-Built at closing. I asked they respond with a price estimate and time they could do the job and provided my phone number in addition to the Yelp response. Fanter Services was the first to respond in both Yelp and call my phone with an estimate and a time at 10 am the next morning. The other two replied and one stated he could not take on additional customers this season. The third reply would have been possible but I had already responded to Fanter and booked them. He and his assistant arrived promptly at 10 am and contacted me so I could move our two vehicles. He proceeded to plow my unusual shaped driveway. It is reasonably flat and all concrete. But nearing the house it spreads to the left to park a vehicle and provides a path to the porch. On the right is a large two car shop with the driveway flowing at 90 degrees straight to the entrance. He plowed all those areas very at a very reasonable price. I asked if he could take us on as a regular customer and he agreed. I told him to return any time he thought appropriate or when it snowed over four inches. If it is a multiple day snow storm to wait until it quits before plowing. My first attempt at using his services and Yelp was outstanding.
