If you're looking for a wedding venue, look no further. Aside from the beautiful views with the gazebo outside and huge venue space, the biggest asset they have going here is your personal wedding coordinator Jennifer. With the wedding package they provide, it's basically a one-stop-shop and Jennifer is thankfully there to hold your hand the entire way. From the specific napkin fold that I desired, to table linen colors, to the room layout, she made sure everything I needed/wanted was perfect and within my budget. I couldn't imagine doing this within my budget without their seamless package options and checklists that get you set to start even the smallest details from 12+ months away up until the very day of your wedding. The event itself was also flawless. The waitstaff and bartenders were professional, my place settings were laid out perfectly, my bridal party's waitstaff made sure our drinks were full and we had food to eat. They have a giant ballroom for your event, but my group was a little smaller. They helped balance the space out with elegant dividers so that my wedding space felt right and the room didn't look bare. I just wish I could express in the right enough words how perfect my wedding was thanks to Jennifer and her team.

Beautiful late-winter sunset at the Tirrell Room.

I attended a wedding here a couple of weekends ago. The drinks were flowing and the food was delicious. They served a plated dinner, and we had the stuffed chicken and pumpkin ravioli. The reception began at 5 pm in March, so there was a beautiful sunset over the property as we were eating dinner. My husband and I made sure to step outside and snap a photo. The only downside of this venue was that there was no separate cocktail hour area, so everyone just sat at their assigned tables during the cocktail hour and didn't really mingle. If you're looking for a venue near Boston, this would be a nice choice!

We were a little worried that no one would be around the morning of the wedding to set them up for us, but Jen set it all up for us!!

In honor of Boston Native Author, Writer, Producer Dennis Lehane at a Lecture, Meet and Greet, along with a Book Signing of his published 14 Novels. This anticipated event brought the hundreds of area fans to hear and learn of his journey from his First Novel, "A Drink Before the War", published in 1994. Which began a series of crime novels. He quickly became New York Times Best-Selling Author with novels such as Gone, Baby, Gone in 1998, Mystic River in 2001 His Most Famous Novel), Shutter Island in 2003, The Given Day in 2008, Small Mercies in 2023 plus many more. Dennis Lehane has had his Novels adapted to Major Films. Besides his Book writing he has written for Netflix, HBO, plus Apple TV. He is also in development of his next Series for Apple TV along with adapting three of Author Stephen Kings Novels. With Dennis Lehane's organizational brilliance his passion is felt in his works! With him seated on stage along with Moderator Rob "Hardy" Poole, from 98.5 Sports Hub , begins his Introduction of Author Lehane by giving the audience abit of back story of his life in Boston, talking about he was raised in Dorchester, his Education and his entrance as a published Author. Along with the Awards Dennis Lehane has received. He turns the interview over to Dennis Lehane who quickly enlightened his guests all fixated on every word and stories, plus facts and he told all of us that he "Loved the Quarries", which reminded him of a story he heard about, "A young gentleman diving in the Quincy Quarries to be impaled by a car antenna thru his eye"! You could hear the gasps coming from the guests. He did mention he wasn't sure if it was true or not but it definitely made his stories abit more interesting to hear! He recalled as a youth that living in Dorchester, " That all the girls were heavily Catholic.....so he came to Quincy"! A bit of levity made the audience laugh! You could tell he was very comfortable speaking honestly and how he enjoys to write about his characters as "just people" and characters in "extreme situations". He cares about the journey his characters takes plus he premised that his next Novel might have "A Tiger Mom and let her loose against the Irish Mob in Boston". Dennis Lehane spoke about his time with his "Favorite Actor", Ray Liotta with abit of levity. Toward the end of the lecture he mentioned to a very happy room full of guests that, "Small Mercies soon to be shot here". He spent 50 years here in Boston before moving to Los Angeles with his wife. After, he took questions from the audience and after a huge line was formed for his one on one book signing! The room was electric with joy. A gracious and grateful Guest of Honor, Dennis Lehane, truly gave his adoring fans a night to remember! A heartfelt "THANK YOU", to our Mayor Koch, and all Quincy Staff that made this Event Possible and Memorable! Granite Links gave this event the best Service and Attention and the food and beverages were well displayed and tasty and the bartenders were very attentive! Thank you for a great time at this beautiful establishment!

They also offer a cash bar option, which is nice. It was super helpful to have access to the kitchen to store, heat up and prep food during the event. I don't think they allow access to the stove top burners, but the ovens and everything else if fair game. There was also free parking at the hall, and if there was no more space in the lot, there was street parking. The customer service was also great. I was able to call and ask all the questions I needed to before booking. I spoke with Frank to reserve the space. He was courteous, effiicient and helpful. All the other guys there helped to show us around the space and answer any additional questions that we had, and made sure we had a primary facility contact the day of the event. There are only a couple of things that I wish were different: I wish we had more time to set up ahead of the party. We were only allotted an hour. You could request an additional hour of setup for a fee. I can't remember how much. I felt as though we had to scramble during that hour to get everything set up, but once we did, everything looked great. It would also have been great if the sound system was up to date. I wanted to play music from the Spotify playlist that I put together for the day, but the equipment was outdated, and even if there was a way to set it up, none of us (staff included) knew how. Other than that, everything was great, and I will definitely be back for future functions.

The hostess decided to put my family of five including two visiting teens, in the very back corner away from all the tables facing the ocean skyline view that were completely empty. We came here for the ambience in rush hour traffic for 45 minutes. We got seated facing a warehouse in Quincy completely isolated. I raised this with the hostess and she said ok. Those tables are for six and you guys are five. So I said...OK? ...so you have plenty open tables so what's the problem?? We got re-seated to the annoyance of the hostess who had to God forbid...move a chair. The struggle is REAL... Suffice to say, I remember fond memories of this restaurant from 20 years ago, but now it's gonna die just like all the others like Anthony's Pier 4 and Jimmy's because they're outdated and you have rude employees like this lady that completely tarnishes your reputation by being rude to your ONLY customers you barely have outside of a wedding. The food was OK, but I'm never going there again. Honestly, the hostess ruined the entire evening and next time I'll save the $200. Never mind, the bus boy was constantly on his phone in the dining area and in the view of my entire family in the restaurant, which is quite unprofessional if you ask me. And the next customer after us got the SAME treatment and they were like... really are you kidding me? Maybe it's the employees, not the restaurant. Also crème brûlée custard filling shouldn't be brown chunky and burnt. What an infuriating night...
