Terrible terrible terrible. Rip off. TOOK ADVANTAGE OF YOUNG LADY. Owner poached a sale from Valdese location. Morganton location present at Valdese location when Valdese location found hole in sidewall of rear passenger tire and steel cords showing rear drivers. Morganton location Sold two tires to young lady and installed them on the front even though young lady, my daughter, told them rears. Morganton tire pros owner stated he didn't hear her say rear and obviously didn't ask so apparently just Willy Nikky installed wherever. Disposed of the tires by time my daughter made it back, in under 18 hours. Fixed hole in sidewall owner rude when spoke too about problem was not willing to speak or discuss anything. read more

I went with my car to have my wheels balanced and aligned and 37 hours after I took my Volvo xc90 from this car service, my car no longer starts. Run away from this car service, they are the most unserious people, they do not work professionally, you will pay more in the end than they tell you at the beginning. read more

One of the worst place in North Carolina to have your car, for any car service you need is this place. Form the owners Ronnie and his wife Christy to the last person in here are the worst. I agree with all the unsatisfied people that gave this place 1 They give you a price when your there and we agree on it and when you come and pick up you car, the price increased with $250 or more and you DO NOT GET any phone calls of any changes. I had my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 pick up for brake lines change, I agree on the price of $500 and after 3 days when I went to get my truck the cost of $715 and they charge you for the cloth and paper towel that they clean themselves $33 and it's called ENVIRONMENTAL FEES. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE AND LIERS. I'll pray that God will deal with them. read more

I took my vintage car to have porta-walls installed on the vehicle. I spoke to the business the day before and they confirmed they could install them. I received my vehicle back after they were installed and it looked absolutely horrible. I was met with them saying "that's the best we can do" and I was not offered a refund or even to reapply them at the time. I was told by Danny (manager) that if I wasn't happy with it, that I was more than welcome to take it to another shop if I thought they could do better. A refund was offered if I could get another shop to rectify the issue. Brought the vehicle back after the other shop fixed it, where I was only given $20 back out of $60 that they initially charged. This has been a horrible experience after I have had several people recommend me to this business. I will not Be back after this experience. Especially after the way the manager speaks to customers after bringing an issue to their attention. read more

Sorry as hell. They put the wrong size tire on my care and caused me $1000 in damage. on top of that the tire was used and went flat in 2weeks! I recommend that customers go else were because they stereo type you as soon as you walk in the door. Very lame. Green. Slow. Its one of those businesses that got a loan to upgrade the building but they still got there old back woods way. Go elsewhere because its not worth it. They dont know shit. Danny is a wanna be. And he lies about the pricing. He will over charge you if he dont know you. But little does he know...we have secrets on him too! BEWARE!! Took my truck in for an oil change which came out to $ 88.00 after questioning the first price of $ 96.00. During this oil change I was notified that I had an oil leak at the oil filter housing and it would cost ? 500.00 to fox it. I approved the repair and brought the truck in for the repair. When I went to pick up the vehicle I was told that they had to change two gaskets as well ( $60.00) and that now the invoice was $896.00 due the repair being misquoted initially. NOBODY ever called to notify me about this repair being misquoted!!! read more

Well if that's the case we've had this car since 2006 and y'all have never charged us before. As I said before I guess us poor people are paying for the new facility in Morganton. Great experience all around with Danny at Tires Plus. I called the day before and told him what size tires I needed. He ordered them while I was on the phone and said he'd have them the next day. I showed up the following day, tires were there and they installed all four tires in about an hour. Very nice atmosphere with friendly employees. Also, cleanest bathroom I've ever seen at a car maintenance business. read more

I dropped off my car for an oil change and it took twice the time. On picking it up, the lady at the front said they were short on help.....but two high school kids came it to help. One of them she said was really good, but the other one not so much. She didn't say which one WORKED ON MY CAR. Never again. read more

I have bought tires from Tires Plus of Valdese over a span of 35 years and my last purchase was from the new Morganton location. The owner, Ronnie, has always offered great advice on tire options whether I was buying for a late model family vehicle or an older vehicle and I have never been disappointed with the purchase and service. Additionally, I have had alignments and repairs to my vehicles at Tires Plus and have always been satisfied with pricing and customer service. As I think about it, the only way this family business could have been successful all these years is by providing the first rate services that I have experienced. read more

I would give 0 star if I could.:: owner is a scam artist.. took my car to the Valdese location to have breaks put on paid for premium break pads . Breaks still make a sequel afterwards took back twice and once to the new Morganton store and problem is still there ... I took the car to another shop and had them take a look and was told cheap pads was used . A full refund is due but will probably still get no response... Owner took me back and made excuses like the problem was some how my fault. It's my fault I paid good money for premium job and got ripped off. read more
