On a recent road trip my car broke down on the highway about 20 miles from this Firestone location…read moreon a Saturday afternoon. I wanted to go to Firestone because I knew they would be open on Sunday so I called AAA and had my car towed to this location. When I arrived the man at the counter was super nice, he had my car assessed right away, and informed me they would have my car ready that same day. Absolutely amazing! I was only planning to be in Hickory overnight so I opted to leave my car overnight for pickup Sunday morning. They called me Saturday evening to let me know all was good and my car was ready. I picked my car up Sunday morning and there was a different guy at the counter. He was super nice and even showed me the bent pulley that caused my serpentine belt to remove itself. Nobody wants their car to break down, but thanks to this Firestone it was actually a great experience. I highly recommend this shop!

They put one on and only a couple hours later the tire blew( more like crumbled ) because it was dry rotted, while he was driving it. Luckily nobody was hurt , but check the comments for the picture, this could have went really really bad on the highway and with an inexperienced child driver. We called and they said they would absolutely not refund us or even give us half back but if they had the right size tire in stock they would give us a replacement but of course turned around and said they don't have that size tire. So basically we are out of luck.

I have no clue what the guy name was that serviced me today but he was absolutely rude at the end…read moreall because he heard what my husband said. I wouldn't recommend this place for women by themselves because they will scam you if you don't have your spouse with you. I only came there to get my tires changed and they was trying to get me to pay additional 80 some dollars for a sensor that I may or may not need . The manager I guess who is managing the place decided to be a complete jerk said that " ignorance is a bliss " like he didn't like that my husband was refusing to have extra money being charged. So, my husband was telling him that he didn't have to make such rude comments and the store manager said " I don't want to entertain you" like was he going to cuss my husband out or something? Like basically my husband as the say so of what goes on my van because he basically pays for everything that goes on the van. This place needs to do better at management or lose customers because I will never come back after today.
