Chad Robinson owner & mechanic of his family operated business Kudzu Subaru is the most caring mechanic I've ever taken my vehicle to. He is a very intelligent & experienced mechanic & has worked on cars most all his life & it shows too, when you take your vehicles to be worked on by him!! His wife Brandy is his office manager & very caring & helpful as well! They both put their customers cares & concerns first above anything & make an awesome team! I recently contacted them about ordering some tires for my car for me. I told them my concerns & what I wanted in my new tires. I told them my old ones rode so rough & made so much road noise & how if someone called me on my car phone I couldn't even hear them from all the road noise! Chad & Brandy researched tires & gave me some options & prices of what I was wanting. I ended up getting the Cooper Touring CS5 & I love them. My car rides so smoothly now & there isn't any road noise!! My old tires had a few valve stem caps missing from where another shop I'd taken my car to be serviced at, had taken them off & not put them back on. I asked Chad if he had any he could put on my new tires, & when I picked my car up, he had went the extra mile & put 4 new silver valve stem caps on there to match my silver wheels!! That meant so much to me & was so nice of him to do & he didn't even charge me for them either! Chad also installed a new right front headlight on my car for me that I had bought a couple months ago & hadn't been able to get anyone to install. I had asked Brandy if she thought he could do it when he put my new tires on & she told me to bring it & let him take a look at it & if not, I told her I'd be happy to make a separate appt to do that if he couldn't work that in to do the same day, because he was also doing a NC state inspection on my car for me as well. When I dropped my car off to be worked on, they were nice enough to offer to let me use their transport car to go do some errands I needed to do, so I wouldn't have to sit & wait & so they'd be able to keep my car longer to try to work in my new right headlight installation for me too. I told them I didn't want to put miles on their car & use their gas & they told me that's why they got it, for their customers to use that didn't live in that area that were driving down the mountain like I did, to get their cars serviced at their business! I ended up taking them up on the offer & got so many little errands done, I'd been needing to do, because of their thoughtfulness letting me borrow their car!! They had told me to check in with them around 2pm or so, & when I did Brandy suprised me & told me Chad had already installed my new right front headlight for me & had also noticed that my left front headlight had 2 bulbs that needed replaced! I thought that was very thoughtful & nice for Chad to take time to even go the extra mile to do that for me too. After I picked up my car later that night when I drove it in the dark, I noticed my fog lights that hadn't been working correctly was working! When Chad installed my new light into the connector properly, my fog lights started working right again!!! I was soooo excited that I called & thanked him. I had already called Brandy on my way home to tell her how much I loved my new tires & how smooth my car was riding now & no road noise! They went above & beyond doing all kinds of things they didn't have to do, that's shows how much they appreciate their customers & because of their top~notch service, their family business will continue to be blessed & prosper! They appreciate their customers & we appreciate them back! They Also don't overcharge their customers! They gave me super good deals, & fair affordable prices on everything & didn't even charge me for all those extra little things they did for me that means " A Lot To Me"!!! Plus, loaned me their car to drive while they serviced mine, at no charge! I was so appreciative & felt so bad they were working so late & so hard, I insisted they take a $20 tip & go get them a hamburger meal & not cook & try to get some very well deserved rest!!! I took them some suprise snacks too, to try to express my gratitude!! Needless to say I'm a loyal customer of theirs for life now!!! I already asked them if they would do some work on my other car for me. Plus, I'm going to have my oil changed too on my car!!! They totally earned my respect & appreciation for life!!! If I could give them more than 5 stars on this yelp review I most definitely would! I'd give them millions of stars!!! They totally deserve it!!! I called and was able to set up an appointment the next day to get a DMV car inspection. The owner is very friendly and helpful. His experience in the field stands for itself, it's a full service shop, especially locally here in Old Fort.
