Very professional service. Worked with my schedule. I drive from Brevard to have them service my Audi Allroad and it is worth the drive!

Sooooo my husband took my car to a Take 5 in Charlotte to get an oil change. They forgot to attach…read morethe engine cover or whatever they unscrew at the bottom of my car in the front. So the shits been scraping the ground. This past Friday I take my car to Firestone in Huntersville to get it fixed along with a few other things. Unbeknownst to me until I hit a bump on the way to Asheville for my birthday weekend , the shit is still hanging and scraping the road as I drive. Fast forward to today. I call Coxe this morning. They're crazy busy so I don't have any expectations. I call my husband to see if his friend who owns a shop about 45 min away can get it done. He can. I dont wanna have to drive out there just yet so I bring my car to Coxe like they advised. As Cat mentioned before it may take a minute to get to my car. It's all good. I'm waiting for only 2 min or less and Cat at the front desk told me they'll get to my car real soon once a lift opens. In literally less than 6 min my car is in the back. Wow! Also waiting in the lobby and the other lady is vacuuming asking me if she's disturbing me. Just friendliness and kindness all around. Then Aaron comes out and tells me that the front piece was being held up by zip ties. Thanks Firestone! Rather than telling me they need to order the parts from Honda like Aaron said, they pieced my shit together for it to just come down. Firestone in Huntersville did me dirty. I'm leaving a review there too. Aaron gave me the piece that was hanging down. Gave me the ONE screw that was there out of like 8 or so that I needed. AND THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME!!! Thank you thank you thank you so much Kat and Aaron!!! If I ever need work done and have a visit coming up for Asheville, I'll just take my car here. I mean I love Asheville cause most everyone I encounter here are polite and kind, but this is some next level shit for me as a Black Woman. I'm typically on guard to ensure I'm not taken advantage of. Literally Aaron and Kat put me at ease.

I get very anxious when something goes wrong or I don't understand something about my car and the staff at Jimmy's is always patient and gracious to answer and explain, even if I ask silly questions. (And I do ask silly questions - a lot of them.) Jimmy's mechanics keep my car in good shape and help me have peace about its upkeep and maintenance. Jimmy's staff does great mechanical work and they really care about their customers. The Customer Service reps (at the desk) are really great, they work with me regarding appointments and the repairs that I need. I am so thankful to be a Jimmy's Automotive customer for several years and I'll keep coming back. I recommend them highly.

We said "we just need it running". One week later, we get a thorough list of things to fix, including "polishing the headlights" all with a sum total of more than we paid for the car ($4500 on a 2004 car that was worth $4000). That should have been our clue to go elsewhere, but we trusted them and moved forward with the critical repairs, unaware of any risks. In their defense, they did say it could also be the gasket, but we do not know what that means or what it costs. After spending $2000 we learn that yes, the gasket was blown and that would cost $3000 to fix. (meaning, if they had their way, we would have spent $7500 on a car that was worth $4000.) If we had been made aware of this potentially LARGE risk, we would not have approved of the initial repairs, we would have just sold the car for parts. But instead we were stuck with paying $2k for a car that wouldn't run or adding another $3k for a car that still would need a few things. They claim to excel in customer service; however I do not feel confident in their motives. To me, good customer service involves working together with the customer to find a solution that makes the most sense, and helping the customer make the best decision while understanding the risks. It's not selling a cake for 2000 people when you're only expecting 50 guests. We took the car elsewhere to complete the repair, not because of the price, but because we didn't feel we could trust them to provide information for us to make a decision appropriate for the age of our car.
