I tried several times to just recover the cost of the part ($42) since I found a used one on EBay. I sent receipts and all. He has basically ghosted me. Not only did he cause more damage to the vehicle, but the condition he left it in put my family in danger. Literally hire at your own risk! I ended up hiring, and paying extra $500, for someone else to fix what he created, and make the car safe again for me and my family.
