Sent my wife to have them check on tire purchased at 8591 SW 132nd Ave that had a 40000 mile warranty and they refuse to honor warranty the tire has had a bump for some time now just couldnt find the time to stop by they are telling her its her fault for not aligning the vehicle yearly but vehicle was suppossibly aligned and balanced when we purchased the tires. they stated she needs a new tire for 250.00 I would highly recomend never going to this company doesnt honor warranties or consider there customers and a bubble or bump on tire has nothing to do with an alignment . stay clear go elsewhere !!! At first I was happy with this place until fairly recently. I took in my car for a break check up and routine maintenance because I had heard grinding sounds coming from my brakes. I got an oil change and during the maintenance they told me brakes look good you just need a routine alignment, rotation, and balancing. After that service my car did not feel the same... fast forward a few months and my car still made the same noises in the breakers but they still saw no issues and now they told me I needed to replace the suspension. So I did. That fixed nothing my car still made the same grinding noises and now it felt even more off. Finally I took my car to another place only to find out my rotors had marks that were causing the brakes to make noise and my front tie rods were completely worn out SOMEHOW Tires Plus failed to notice these issues during inspections while doing other "necessary" work So now I'm paying $3400 in this new place to have it fixed. They took my money and didn't fix my problem... do not take your car here they will just rip you off read more

I come to this location for my oil changes and though the front desk staff is very nice my experience varies each time. The consistency is not there, but I've never had anything wrong with my car after picking it up which is a positive. This location is very good at contacting you along the process of your cars work and they try there best to get the job done in a very timely matter. The only issue I have with them is a few times after my oil change they haven't rest my timer for the next maintenance or they missed putting the sticker reminder in my window and little things like that. It maybe not seem like much but when the price of an oil change has increase drastically and it's now we'll into the hundreds I would hope to have no issues when picking up my car. I had air leaking out of my tires and found that this was the closest one. I called first and was told that there was no wait and he also gave me a price estimate. Went in and was greeted by the friendly staff. He told me it will take around 2 hours for my car to be done. There's a waiting area with a TV or it's super close to a plaza that you can walk and explore to kill time. I decided to explore the area and took a walk to the plaza (tip: there's a bakery there where you can grab a quick snack or an ice cream shop). I went back and my car was finished! The guy who worked on my car gave me updates and was super friendly. He told me what I might need to be careful of in the future. The price is fair and everything went well! Went in with an appointment for an AC refrigerant refill I had to wait 3 hours and I saw my car come out 20 minutes before and then I asked the guy if my car was ready and he was lost. He then said "yeah it just came out" and I told him he was lying that I saw my car come out 20 minutes ago and he stayed quiet. The owner and employees don't care about their customer base and they overcharge either way, naulins is ten times better. What really shocked me is how he lied straight to my face when I've been sitting in the lobby for two hours, because the first hour I went to eat something in the shopping center. Avoid this place if you can. We used to come here because of how convenient it is. However, the last two times we have brought our car here we have run into issues. The first issue we ran into was they told us a piece by the tire needed to be replaced other wise it would have been "dangerous" to drive on the road. Took it to another, more trustworthy, auto shop and they told us the piece wasn't the main problem it was just the most expensive problem. Had we gotten the piece replaced we still would have had issues with our car. That would have been a $1500. The second issue was an oil change we recently had done. They told there was an oil leak in the car but upon further inspection we did not think the oil leak was that bad so we left it alone. Now, a month later, we took the car to the more trust worthy auto shop, a little further from where we live, and the guy told us the other placed had screwed up the oil change and did not put the gasket on correctly, which was the reason we lost oil so quickly. These people are only out to get your money and will keep screwing up your car to make you come back over and over again. Avoid this place if you can. read more

I Was told to submit a claim to corporate AFTER MANAGER ADMITTED FAULT only for the claim to be denied two weeks later. A $70 oil change ended up being close to a $500 repair. WARNING!! I have been taking my car for an Oil change to this location over the last couple of years. During the month of October 2021, I dropped off my car for a routine oil change. Everything seemed fine when I picked up my car, however a couple of days later my wife finds that the car has a large oil spill on the ground when leaving her job. We called Tire Plus and they offered to tow the car to their location for inspection. They claimed that the Oil plug was defective and are going to replace it with a new one free of charge. Fast Forward a month later, and my wife find herself in the same situation, when leaving work finds the car with a large oil spill on the ground. Took the car back to Tire Plus, they began with the run around and claimed we must of hit something, that the oil leaking from somewhere else, they kept the car over night to continue inspection. the next day I get a call from the manager that the oil pan plug thread was stripped and now i have to replace the oil pan. They are the only ones doing oil changes and they ruin my oil pan. Now they want to charge me $2500 to fix a problem they created. Be very careful!! i used to come here for all my cars until very recent. they have new staff that isnt friendly like the other guys that used to work there. they attempted to rip me off by trying to charge me almost $200 for wipers because ,they said, the wipers had a special bracket. i went and bought oem ones and replaced them myself. want to know what the special bracket was? a button.. yes, it was a bit hard to push it, but i used a key, and to my surprise, the wiper slid right off. so for only $20 and 5 minutes of my time.. i saved about $180. the only reason i asked them to change the wipers is because i was there for other maintenance, so I might as well get everything done at once. read more

We took our car to tires plus today due to warranty on tires.... one tire had a nail, so they patched it (good job). Then they proceed to call us and inform us of an oil leak and that the job is going to cost $900.... we decide for them not to do the fix, that we will take it somewhere else.... When we went to pick up the car they patched the tire as they said and than decided on their own will to do an oil change....THEY WATCHED THE OIL THEY PUT IN THE VEHICLE LEAK OUT OF THE VEHICLE. when we went to go pick up the car, within 15 minutes of the phone call letting them know we are picking it up to go else where.. they decided to do an oil change and charge us, for a damn science experiment. LIKE WE SAID NOT TO DO IT and yet you think you can do it and charge.. that is not good business, you give mechanics a bad name when you do sht like that. I am so disappointed with the lack of service here. I cannot believe we had to pay for an oil change when they knew before putting in the oil there was a leak? Been going to this place for 10 years and 6 different vehicle. I have tolerate the baseless upsell attempts and ridiculous rules regarding tire changes or even flats but I always felt their oil change/tire rotation prices were reasonable. I always make the first appointment of the day and am usually out within the hour. These last two visits having an appointment has been pointless. Today's visit I was told that it would take 3-4 hours due to only having one mechanic and 5 cars ahead of me, two of which did not have appointments. The appointment systems accepts your request, the shop confirms the appointment but no one seems to think it is important to contact a customer if the shop is delayed or short on mechanics. This is the second time it happens and the last time it could ever happen as I will not return. read more

I got to Tires Plus at 12:39p to ONLY change my tire because i has gotten a hole in it. It is something so simple that can be done in a matter of half an hour to 1 hour. I kept asking how long it would take and someone said I was next. This was already at 1:39p. I waited patiently because I understand they sometimes can be busy. I use to come here all the time cause it was convenient but every time I go back to get a quote I remember why it is that I don't go back. All this place does is try to scam you out of your hard earned money. My latest experience was trying to get my tire fixed after getting a nail stuck in it. The guy literally told me that I had to get a brand new tire because he said the nail was on the on the shoulder of the tire (which wasn't because it was on the flat surface). Then when I tried to tell him the shoulder is over here he tried to show me a BS chart. Guess this establishment likes loosing out on money. This place is not trying to be upstanding nor is the customer service good. I took my car in and told them to check my tires, do an oil change, and rotate tires. They came back and told me I had to change the axel, shocks and struts. The oil change and tire rotation done. I was actually willing to accept them on face value and said ok to the axel. The guy assisting me then told the part had to be ordered and that I would need to bring the car in the next day. So far normal. He rings me up and is trying to charge me for the work they did, the part they are ordering me and the FUTURE work they have yet to do. When I said that I did not think the policy was fair - he said he couldn't do anything about it - had to pay in advance. Actually, no I don't. As a policy, Tire Plus has a lot to learn about customer service. When I said no he made me stand there while he spent some minutes pretending he was overriding the system to "help" me. The best part is if he had charged me the work done and the part - I would have paid and taken my car in the next day, but now not only do I not have faith in what they say I will never go here again and I will recommend to all my friends not to trust this place. I am unfortunately disappointed with Jorge at Tires Plus on 132 Ave & Kendall Drive. I've bought tires for my car here several times. Their location is convenient for me because I leave my car and walk to my mom's house to wait for it to be done. The staff have always been very friendly. Recently, I dropped off my car for 2 new tires. When I returned for my car, Jorge let me know I "have a big problem". Oh no! Was all I could think. He lets me know that one of my Lower Control Arms is about to crack and I MUST replace immediately. Since I picked up my car at closing time he couldn't give me a quote but let me know it would be approximately $250 for the new part and about 3.5 hours of labor to install. WOW!!!! I was not expecting that. He says to call him tomorrow so he can give me a more specific quote. OK, I say to him. As I'm leaving he tells me "be careful because it's so bad that if you hit a speed bump wrong it might break". I was freaked out from the moment I left until the next morning when I drove to my mechanic's garage. After I told him about the advise I was given the night before, he checked out my car and basically told me yes the Lower Control Arm needs to be replaced but it's not going to break if I hit a speed bump wrong. This place can't be trusted. They will change your oil and leave in the old filter. They charge you for a tire rotation and balance and will only rotate the tires.
