Do not go to this store. I went here for 10 plus uears with multiple vehivles with no problems. Then they got a new store manager. I had him check out the brakes on my van, which is free, and says free on the paperwork I recveid from them. They gave me a ridiculous price so I told them no thanks. I had a quote for half somerwhere else. When I went to pick the vehicle the manager saw me and went to the back which I thought was weird. Then the sales guy rang me up an wanted to charge me $19.99. I said it was free and he said they were charging me since I didn't use them. I complained and eventually he dropedd it to $9.99 whcih I just paid to get out of there becuase I had things to do. No only did it take 45 minutes to repair the tire (a nail in it), they then tried to rip me off by saying I needed a new set of wiper blades, an air filter an cabin air filter, all which I had replaced myself just a few weeks earlier. I've had two excellent experiences at this location recently. A simple oil change, and a tire replacement and another tire repaired. Walk-in on both occasions. Both people who helped me - wish I had gotten their names - were fabulous. First first a young woman, this time a young man both early 20's. They didn't pressure me in to extra services and were straightforward about costs, service times etc. I see other people don't always have good experiences with this franchise but I certainly have. read more

Had to bring car here for AC work. All checked out good at another location of same business. Reason for coming here, other location does not have AC coolant to charge the system. This location could not find problem but serviced coolant in AC along with dye. So must have only needed the coolant added. The day I picked up my car the guy at the counter was rude. Started to right check to pay and informed me they don't take check. Also, service guy had grease all over floor mat even though a paper mat was on the floor. Someone's water bottle was left in the cup holder and my console had been gone through. Will never go back to this location for nothin. read more

I had a bunch of quarters in my car when I dropped it off to get my oil changed and when I picked up my car they were gone. When I confronted them about it they just said "I don't think any of our technicians would do something like that." I would not recommend working with this company! Everyone was nice to me when I checked in for my appointment. I needed a headlight bulb replaced in the car. I reached out in advance and was told they'd have the bulb in stock, and it should be around $25. So I made an appointment for the next morning. I was told it would take about 45 minutes. Around an hour and a half later the job is done and my bill is a few dollars short of $100. Nobody gave me a heads up that the bulb was actually not in the store, the price had quadrupled and then on top of that I was late for work. I would have appreciated a heads up. read more

I got an oil change done here. Good price but they failed to put the oil plug (bolt) back in properly. Five days later my car broke down on the highway with zero oil it. Tires Plus location, and had a few less than stellar oil change experiences there, so I was skeptical of going to another Tires Plus. Glad I decided to try the University Ave location. They're generally quick with oil changes, and make every attempt to serve a walk-in. I've gotten tires here, as well as some brake work. Once I had an issue with a sensor that TP replaced and although the error was not necessarily theirs, they still reimbursed me for the entire repair bill. Well, let me tell you the whole story. I bought a used car and took the car to a Tireplus branch in Gainesville for a technical inspection before buying. They charged me $ 30 and gave me a report on the condition of the car. The report clearly states that the battery status is good and therefore, I did not replace the battery. About two weeks later, when I was out of town, the car suddenly shut down off while driving 60 mph and the whole car stopped, you know the cars almost don't do anything without battery power. There was nothing I could do. After 2.5 hours trying, I was able to find someone to tow the car to my house, which cost me $ 204. I tow the car to the nearest mechanic the next day, and after checking, they found that the car's battery was almost dead. The battery was for 2016, and contrary to the Tireplus's report, it was completely DEAD. I changed the battery and the car works well. I have tried to call Tireplus Customer service, the first time I called, the operator apologized to me and promised that someone would call to see what was wrong with the report. The manager of the branch where I took the car for inspection called, and without taking responsibility for their incompetency and incorrect information report that they have charged me for, he just offered me a free battery inspection !! on a new battery! After an unsuccessful discussion with the store manager, I called the customer service four more times, 1 week apart, and each time the operator apologized, promised that within two days, someone with a higher management degree would contact me. But now, after about 1.5 months, no one has called. I am tired of calling, but please don't go to this store if you care about the health of yourself and the car. I am sure no one even took a look at the car. they are way much incompetent that you might ever imagine. STAY AWAY! I initially went in for a tire change for one blown tire at this Tire Plus (a Bridgestone/Firestone) company. The sales clerk at the front stated that all tires should be replaced since they all had similar lot numbers. The tires were almost running smooth so I agreed and ended up buying four "Brand New" tires. A little over a year I noticed that one of the tires was leaking. Upon further inspection, I noticed that there was a HUGE plug in the tire, on the inner sidewall I might add. A VERY DANGEROUS combination! This store basically sold me tires marked as "new" which had a huge hole in it that they plugged. Below I attached images. I would NEVER be shopping at any tireplus or bridgestone company ever again, and would NEVER recommend it to anyone that value their life! I came back recently for a tire replacement and was equally as impressed by their level of professionalism and customer service. I really appreciate the honesty I got about my truck. My truck was making some noises right before I planned a vacation . I had suspected it was the struts and was worried I'd have to cancel plans. Luckily that wasn't the case. Last month, The alignment was done at a Tires plus in Melbourne Beach and the workers here notified me of the issue being a bolt possibly not being fastened correctly and fixed it for no charge. I've been here for 10+ years. They always always do a great job. The one thing I look for is the job done right the first time, and are there any new problems other than what I went in for. I went there to get a tire puncture repaired on a Sunday. The mechanic took a look at the tire noticed that it was new. He told me that since the tires had a warranty on them, I should go to the place i bought them at, and get it repaired for free. He could just have repaired the puncture and charged me, but he acted in the customer's best interest. Horrible experiences they always find something that will cost extra just to do the oil change ex. The lug nut is on too tight so we might have to break it to get it off and charge you for a new one. Funny thing is they were the last ones to put it on and when I said that they magically got it off and it was fine! So, I'm running errands, trying to get ready to get out of town. And I go to make a right turn into my driveway and my turn signal goes, Clickety, clickety, clickety, clickety. And I am already stressed out. So I grumpily stomp into the house. And I call Tires Plus to see if changing out my blinker bulb is included in the Plus. It is. This makes me happy. I ask about making an appointment. The guy on the phone makes a 3:30 appointment for me, but encourages me to come in earlier, if that suits me, and they'll get me all taken care of. He quotes me a price of $17.95. Which I was happy to hear because it cost me $35 in Denver. I ate lumch and ran another errand and then headed over there. I got there about 3 and was told it would be an hour and a half wait. This made me less happy. So, I said I would come back first thing in the morning. And I did. A different gentleman waited on me. I got to hear all about his kids, like I care, but points for friendliness. He took the Jeep back and lickety split, the Jeep was done. I was glad it was lickety split because the waiting area left something to be desired. The tv was off and there were no treats. When he came back, he charged me $54. I didn't say anything because I'm certain he was right and the guy on the phone was wrong. Nothing is cheaper in Florida. read more

I was only supposed to be getting two new tires for my Honda Odyssey. I only came to Tires Plus because you had the lowest price in the area. When I came back 45 minutes later to get my van, your Service Manager Jeromy showed me that I needed to get the back rear tire fixed because IT WAS ABOUT TO FALL OFF. He didn't yell. He was very calm the whole time. Jeromy strikes me a very cool, calm, and collected person. He gave me a reasonable deal on the work and it got done on the spot. It probably didn't take an eagle-eyed mechanic to see that my back wheel was about to fall off, but couple that with Jeromy's honesty, helpfulness, and professionalism and Tires Plus is the only place I'm going in town for work. read more

I towed my car there for checking because there was problem about fuel pump. 1. They charged me by a list of checking services (each service costs some money) but at the end they told me there was problem about fuel pump (they did not have any report about the list of services!) 2. After they checked my car, they did not put back my parts. When I later opened the hood, I found literally SCATTERED PARTS in the front hood!!!!! 3. They BROKE the injector when they check my car. Went to the one on 34th and Archer for oil changes. No complaints. However, last time there I decided to be lazy and have them replace my windshield wipers. Charged me $10 just for installation and the wipers seemed like they were used. Really noisy and didn't work right from the start. Unfortunately, I moved shortly after getting them. A couple months later I moved to a new state and I wouldn't pass inspection due to my wipers. Small expense, but makes you wonder. read more
