I've had several great experiences with Aersi, but one stands out. My 2018 Tundra had an AC clutch fail due to an existing sheared bolt from unknown reasons. Joe gave me the option to replace just the clutch or the whole unit, which I appreciated since most places push the expensive route. What a wonderful experience with AERSI. I had a very bad experience with the local Toyota Dealer here in Gainesville. Went in for an oil change and they found every thing wrong possible with my 2008 Toyota Prius with 56000 miles on it! They assured me I needed a water pump at $500 to replace! At 79 years old, I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday and I know what a bad water pump sounds like and the mess it makes on the garage floor. It was a big fat bold faced lie! I swore I would never take my car to the Toyota dealer ever again. I searched around and found AERSI when my "Maint Req'd" light came on. I was hearing a racket coming from the right front wheel well and thought the worst! A bad wheel bearing? I made an appointment and was delighted with the reception I received from the young lady at the front desk. I described what my fears were and she assured me the noise was most probably a branch caught under the car and the dashboard light was for a routine oil change. When the repair was completed, it was a branch caught under the frame, each and every thing was explained to me and I was assured "Merna" (My Prius) was in good health and ready for many more miles of happy roading. The young lady pointed out the repairs I may need in the future and the cost. Folks, I left with a smile on my face, more money in my checking account, and a hope to trust AERSI with any repairs my dear "Merna" may need in the future! A+++++++ for AERSI! read more

My experience with AERSI has been by far my best auto repair experience ever. I am a dedicated Toyota owner, especially when it comes to their economy compact cars. However, I recommend giving them a call for any import car to see what they can do for you. I had a 1983 Toyota Tercel hatchback that I had taken to at least three other shops to fix the shaking and the loud noise coming from the wheel well. No one was able to actually fix the problem other than AERSI, and they fixed it for almost 1/3 of the price that I was expecting. Even fixed my window at no additional charge. The car had almost 200,000 miles on it and they managed to make it run like new. I feel like they care about my car as much as I do, and honestly interested in keeping it going forever. Another one of my favorite perks about getting auto service from AERSI is that they give you a Toyota compact car loaner for the day. Very honest and skillful mechanics. Been there for couple of oil changes and free trip checks. Some services are a little bit expensive compared to others, but I won't hesitate to go this place if my car would have a major issue. This is right place where "you get what you pay". After mistakes by oil change auto repair shops I went to AersI as they specialize in Toyota and Lexus automobiles. And I'm glad I did. They replaced my 2 front struts and aligned my LS430 and it drives like new again. They also pointed out that I had 2 rear tires with multiple punctures and the tires had been plugged in the past, not good! They ordered the tires through Tire Rack, got me the discount and free shipping to Aersi and saved me several dollars. We're they expensive? No. As in my opinion if the job is done right and they are totally honest, then this is the shop that I'll return to. read more

If you have a Toyota, you owe it to yourself to go to AERSI. The other day my wife went to Jiffy Lube for a regular oil change. Why my wife? Because it was one of those "if a man says he's gonna do it, there's no need to remind him every year" situations. Jiffy tried to push on her transmission oil change too as the car is above 65K. I told my wife we'll go to AERSI for that. I made an appointment with AERSI, agreed on the price, then the technician checked the car and said: I can do it now, but you have synthetic oil which will be good for another 15-25k miles, so no need to do it now. Then they inspected my car for free and let me go without paying a dime. If that kind of service is important to you, you know where to go. read more

I encountered three issues with Aersi: 1) The prices are very high; might as well go to the Toyota dealership. 2) They will leave your car a complete mess. Whoever serviced my car must have gone out of his/her way to get as much oil and grease onto the leather seats, mats, and scuffed the driver-side door four times (yes I counted the scuff marks). 3)Thirdly, I was quoted a price for a synthetic oil change and they later added close to $18.00 to the quoted price (labeled as state, recycling, and disposal charges). Before dropping off my car I made it a point to ask numerous times for a SOLID QUOTE. Their clerk/receptionist, Rachel, assured me in front of the Owner, Ken Creel, the quoted price was final with the exception of sales tax. This couldn't have been further from the truth. Note to Aersi's management: Be straight with your customers when they ask for a quote and try not to be so careless when repairing / driving customers' vehicles. A plastic mat and seat cover would go a long way with those of us that keep our cars clean. read more

As good as it gets. Bowl of candy if you get hungry, free wifi, and incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and honest people. Came in once suspecting I needed new brakes. They checked it out and said "nope, they're fine". (I wouldn't have known any better if they'd said I did). Came in another time suspecting a bad alternator. They quoted me over $500 to replace an alternator on a '05 Corolla--almost as much as the dealership would charge--with a one year warranty on parts and labor. (Yes, they do use genuine Toyota parts.) I got it done at Pep Boys for $285 with a one-year warranty on labor and lifetime warranty on the part (which was after-market). read more

I can not recommend this repair shop enough. First of all, I see several reviews on here complained about their prices. Sure, it's true that they are not the cheapest place in town. However, I would rather go to somewhere that I know will do quality work and not rip me off, rather than go to the cheapest place around. I own an older Toyota but I adore my car and want to drive it until it dies of old age. This is what AERSI does best- many cars they service have gotten 200,000, even 300,000 miles. Let's take, for example, a routine oil change. Sure, you could probably get one for thirty bucks at Jiffy Lube/Firestone, etc. It costs about $55 at AERSI. However, at AERSI I know they are actually going to do all the services advertized as included with the oil change. AND I know there won't be some scammy hard sell at the end trying to get me to "flush my radiator" or "recharge the AC." Plus, after 4 oil changes you get the 5th one free, which decreases the overall price of an oil change to $44 buck or so. I've had places forget to put my oil cap back on; I've had places mix up the hoses on the air filter intake after replacing it, causing my car to repeatedly stall. I've had places keep me waiting over two hours for a scheduled oil change. Rest assured, this kind of service is NOT what you will get at AERSI. Additionally, I have come in many times for service when they could have ripped me off or charged me for a new part but they didn't. The first time they cleaned a part that would have been $300 new. That part still has not needed to be replaced and it has been over 18 months later! Another time I came in because my car was shaking when I braked. They told me that the problem was due to warped brake rotors and that I was fine to drive on them until they were worn. Again, they could have charged me for new parts, but they didn't. Yet another time I was about to leave town when my check engine light came on. I called AERSI and they told me to come by, got me in without me waiting even a minute, hooked my car up and cleared me to get on the road. I can not imagine any other auto repair place going above and beyond and giving such exemplary service as I receive each and every time I go to AERSI. Bottom line: If you, like me, are not especially savvy about mechanics and auto repair, a shop like AERSI is a dream come true. If you know exactly what repairs you need, what they entail and such and just don't have enough time to do it yourself, maybe you have the luxury of looking for the rock bottom price. For just about everyone else, an honest auto repair shop is worth it's weight in gold. AND it's locally owned and family operated. Win win win. read more

We have been using Aersi for our three Toyotas (Camry, 4Runner, and Civic) for many years now. Two of our cars have almost 200,000 miles on them and the third is almost 100,000 miles and they are still running great. I can honestly say that they are excellent and a great value. Their prices may be a little bit higher than an quick oil-change mechanic, but they really provide additional value by only replacing parts and performing repairs when necessary while still providing excellent preventative maintenance. I have a '95 Toyota Corolla and was faced with putting the car to rest or paying for extensive/costly repairs to revitilize it. I was quite fortunate to be able to have such a decision to make. If it weren't for the level of trust that I have gained for Aersi and the Aersi family based on the excellent work they have done on my car over the years, I wouldn't have even considered the repairs. My Corolla has been so reliable and a perfect vehicle for me and my family. I wasn't quite ready to let it go. So, I moved forward with the repairs, and have absolutely no regrets. My car is running better than it ever has, even when it was brand new!
