I took my car there for 1 new wheel stud. They ended up looking at all the studs which they found other ones but by doing so they made my car undrivable because they couldnt put new lugs on there. They gave me an outrageous price for that minor of a job and I said no screw it ill fix it myself. They then said that it is not safe at all to drive it home and said I would need to get it towed if I didnt want the job to get done. Mind you I was able to drive it perfectly fine to the place and after there inspection it was no longer safe to drive-according to them- So I said fine ill pay your terrible price after they made it so it wasnt drivable. I thought it wasnt drivable because the lady at the desk had told me that 3/5 of my lugs on one tire couldnt be tightened enough and then one was bad on another tire. I waited almost all day for this inspection and repair, just to find out its 2/6 bad studs for two tires which would have been okay for the didtance and speed I needed to go. And they charged me 360 dollars when I could get a 5 pack on amazon for 15 dollars and it would probably take me a hour or two at most. Instead they way over charged and told me false information about the repair which is what made me have them fix it. So if you ask me i was essentially scammed. Trickery, dishonesty, inconsistency, repeated price changes, double facing seem to be a new characteristic of this business. I have been a customer of this shop for years, but as its changed its technique, I reduced my business dealings. Last year, the alignment check service was free, now that I called (Yesterday- 5 minutes before I drove my vehicle there), I was told by its manager that it is $22.00. At the exit, it charged me $26.00. An alignment of $110.00 in price first changed to $275.00 then $998.00 all in 5 minutes time frame. Brought my car there yesterday for an appointment I made for a basic oil change. I was emailed a work order shortly after I dropped it off with an estimate of $120! I was under the impression it would be $30 so I called immediately. After being put on hold three times they finally answered and said they'd take care of it. I thought when they said that meant they'd actually fix it! They did not, they instead gave me a "discount" of $105. I told them when I went to pick it up that I was not happy that they basically swindled me into paying a lot more. I asked how they could charge that much without explaining the price and services. So if you followed me from my review on Firestone(Broad St) then you are in the right place. Picking up where I left off, after the incident with Firestone my vehicle was towed to this location to help out Firestone because they were slammed busy. No problem, understandable and my vehicle was towed from my residence and the serpentine belt was replaced no charge, but they found a leak (hmm.) Well, erring on the side of caution, I had them replace the power steering pump to the tune of $420.00. This is like a Greek Tragedy, I drove my vehicle not even 59 miles total and I have a major oil leak, spray some where. Mind you, after I picked up my vehicle the second time I found remnants of the old serpentine belt still wound around some components and pulleys which leads me to believe that this ensuing damage was caused by the original so called repair. I said self, self said hmm, "I am looking out my window in the sun room laughing because the irony is I paid a total of $1195.15 to have an operable vehicle made inoperable." Go figure... read more

Don't waste your time at this location! Originally called to check on how long it would take for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment and was told about two to three hours based on how many cars were in front of me. Completely understandable. However, I have been here for almost 6 hours and keep hearing the same thing "shouldn't be much longer". Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other locations. I only went to this one for the convenience with it being near my house. If they would just be up front about the correct time I wouldn't have been this upset. read more

These guys are amazing!!! We had zero idea where to go for a nail in my daughter's car tire. We googled Firestone and it sent us here. We walked in & Will Ferrell(yes, that's his name!) helped us above and beyond! In fact it was FREE!!! They have a nice bathroom & waiting area with cable tv & up to date magazines. It was so pleasant! The young guy that repaired the tire was super friendly & very knowledgeable. Everyone seemed to love their job and smiling. Such an amazing visit! A solid Ten! Outstanding experience -- cannot more highly recommend. I recently traveled to Evans to attend to issues related to my father's estate. When I pulled my father's car from its garage I noticed a large nail. I was in town for only a couple of days and was certain they wouldn't be able to help me before I had to leave. I was absolutely wrong. Tony fit me early the next morning. He patiently explained to me all the recommended services -- the car hadn't been attended to in years. I like to day I'm pretty happy with this place. i'm in and out in less than 30 minutes, they show me whats been done to car, what could be in the future and basic tips to keep my crazy Asian driving tactics on the road. I love these guys for oil changes and wheel alignments because that's super important when you're swirling all crazy off I-20 to Atlanta and fitting right in with the crowd. I get a great shpeel from my car, listen to bad current event news, read fitness magazines from years past and do a little people watching when I'm bored with the Southern Parenting etc. I appreciate the tires being rotated in no times flat. Took my car to the dealership for maintenance and they recommended changing out my brake pads, as they had worn thin. I didn't have time to replace them at the time and ended up taking them here at a later date instead. They performed a brake inspection and determined that they weren't even halfway worn yet and still had plenty of life left. Best part was they didn't even charge for the inspection. It's always nice to find a place that won't price gouge you and try to take as much money from your pocket as they can. Okay, so I don't usually do this, but every time I come to this location, I spend $300+ and the issue is never fixed. The first time I came here was when I was having trouble with my steering and assumed it was because I needed an alignment and tire rotation. (July 2019) So I made an appointment to have that fixed. After they looked at my car, not only did they tell me my control arms and ball joints needed to be replaced, but they convinced me I needed 4 brand new tires (even though I'd just put new tires on them in the December prior, but whatever). So I ended up opening a line of credit with them because of the cost it would be to fix all of that. When I got my car back, it still didn't feel like the problem was fixed. It was still doing what it'd been doing before. I brought it back in to check the alignment again, and they checked it again. Sometime later I was then newly informed that my wheels were bent, and that's what was causing the problem. They told me they could order new wheels but I just couldn't afford it at that time. Fast forward to May 2020. I bring in my car because it needed an oil change. I also wanted them to look at my air conditioner because it wasn't blowing air the way it was supposed to, as well as fix my car's left front blinker that had stopped working. I left my car with them, told them everything I needed done. They called me a few hours later, telling me they recommend doing a recharge and air conditioning evac, but also that I needed my serpentine belt changed because it was cracked and that it could be dangerous for me in the future. I asked them "how badly is it cracked?" And they just said, "It's cracked." At first I told them to go ahead and replace it, but then changed my mind after discussing it with my sister that it's an easy fix with the right tools. They told me my shocks and struts needed to be fixed as well. I told them I couldn't afford to have that done and told them about my blinker again. I went to pick up my car, and the only difference I could feel was the oil change. My air conditioner was still not working correctly ($123 later) and my blinker was not fixed. I even went back in and told them I didn't think the blinker was fixed because it was doing the "fast-clicking" sound a blinker makes when it's not fixed. The guy who checked me out said he couldn't tell if it was fixed because of the sun, (which I had initially used as an excuse to get him to check it out again in the parking lot) but that they should have fixed it, to go home when I can see it better and to see if it was working. It wasn't. So I made another appointment to have it fixed. I brought it in and I was asked by a different man, "Why didn't we fix that last week?" To which I told him I wasn't sure... I told him I knew it wasn't the bulb because I had replaced it with brand new bulbs and none of them were working. I left my car again for a few hours. Got a call saying that they tried putting a new bulb in there, and it didn't work. (OF COURSE IT DIDN'T) and that they have to order an entire new light assembly to fix it and that it would take a few days. Well, I had to work, so I took my car back and waited for them to tell me when the part came in. They did call me 4 days later, but I was having trouble getting it there. This was the end of May. Still no blinker fixed. Still bad air conditioner. Of course, it's the summer in Georgia, so it starts getting hotter, and my air conditioner is still not working properly. I never did call back and tell them about my aur conditioner because by that point I was so done with paying so much and constantly having to bring it back a few days later. So I decided to do my own educating and found out that it was probably the cabin filter that needed replacing. THE CABIN FILTER. A CHEAP, EASY FIX. So I took out my cabin filter and sure enough, it was all but rotted. Even just blowing it off with a force dryer was enough to make a HUGE difference in my air conditioner. Going tomorrow to buy a new one. Also did research on how to fix my blinker. Easy. I can do that myself without having to order a whole new head assembly. Part of me feels bad about writing this review because everyone that worked there was super pleasant, and at least didn't make me FEEL like I was an idiot woman that knew nothing about cars. But at the same time, I feel like I've spent $2000 there and had nothing done. read more

Usually these guys are pretty on point, but having just waited an hour without my car getting serviced, I'm pretty disappointed in this location. I called ahead hours ago to schedule an appointment (for an oil change, nothing too fancy), but when I got there the tech seemed to be entering my information for the first time. There were two other cars ahead of me, at least one of which had only just showed up when I got there. The waiting room was packed (with 5 adult members of the same family), barely air conditioned, and with the TV blaring a B movie slasher flick. I waited an hour, during which I heard the tech complain numerous times to previous customers about how they had sent a bunch of workers home and only had one tech working. I gave it the whole hour, hoping that either the tech could multitask or the manager could call some of the aforementioned workers back in. I had a nail in my right front tire, a little more than an inch from the outside wall. I took it to the Tireplus in Evans to have it repaired and patched. Immediately, the technician said the tire was not salvageable and I needed a new tire. As someone who doesn't work with tires daily knew that was not the case. So, I "kind of politely" declined. The next day day, I took it to someone I trusted and they actually looked at it, and said if they can salvage the tire they would. Well, the nail in the tire was one of the short ones and was nowhere near the wall. They removed the nail and patched it, and saved me $100 bucks or more. So, it looks like Tireplus in Evans is only in the business of selling and taking your money even when it's not necessary. DO NOT recommend. read more

We often get same day service on major repairs that we know would take longer at the dealership. They are courteous and professional and know us well!! Made an online appointment for two new tires for my vehicle. Got there at my appointed time but they did not have the tires for my vehicle in stock. Instead of having a someone go fetch the tires from another location, they elected to wait on a truck that makes its rounds to each location moving required stock between stores. The tires I needed would not be there for another 3 hours. When I returned 3 hours later the truck had not arrived yet, but they were expecting it soon and my vehicle was next in the chute as soon as my tires arrived. One hour later they finally decided to inform me that my tires were not on the truck and they were sending somebody to go retrieve them. My vehicle was finished 1 hour and 45 minutes after that. All I got was a "Sorry for the wait." Well, "Sorry I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere next time." They need to fix how they manage stock, appointments, and maybe do something for the customer that received less than adequate service to keep them coming back. read more

I came to Tires Plus on Washington in Evans Ga to buy two tires today. I was not looking for a semi-automatic weapon, heroin, or hydrochloric acid. Just two tires to take with me - I didn't even need them mounted or balanced. I was asked for my name, my address, my phone number, my Ga driver's license number and my credit card information. When I asked why they needed all that information, I was informed that it was due to "fraud" and so that they could reach me in case of a recall. I asked if I could pay cash and skip the interrogation - the answer was no. I was also assured that they would protect my information. I asked if they had heard about Equifax. I had no choice, I needed those specific tires, but will look elsewhere in the future. read more

I have had work done on my vehicles here several times and have always been disappointed. I can't recall anything that was done right the first time. I finally gave up and started using a different shop after this one forget to tighten a tierod after a front end alignment which was extremely dangerous. There are more reliable shops in Evans then this one. I buy all my tires at COSTCO now which has better prices and the Tire Kingdom across the road from this Tires Plus has always done quality mechanical work for me and reasonable prices. -Scott Mullins read more

This place charged about 20-30 bucks to fix a leak in my tire when I had taken it to Goodyear the day before and been lied to and told that there was no leak and that I needed 4 brand new tires at a total cost of $566. Tires Plus was extremely professional and quick and did not try to sell us anything that we did not actually need. Very Disappointed! We have been going to this Tires Plus location for over 10 years. When one of our cars had an electrical problem that involved a short circuit my husband was told that they could do an electrical test for $100.00. He decided to do this and dropped the car off. 2 days after it was supposed to be done he had to call them. They said that they had been trying to call us and it turned out that they had written our home phone number wrong. My cell number and my daughter's were both on the receipt but it had not occurred to anyone to try those numbers! Anyway, the $100 test revealed no problem and it turned out that they did an engine diagnostic, not an electrical one. We have tires with road hazard warranties on them and will have to return for that service, but otherwise, they have lost a long term customer. Best advice - they are okay for tires and oil change - anything more complicated, go elsewhere! read more

They stayed, checked the tire (in the dunk tank), and since there wasn't an actual leak, they chargd me zero. The place is clean, well-lit, and has a nice waiting area.
