I went to Tire Plus in Cincinnati on June 27, 2026. They told me that there was oil leaking along with other things to fix. So I was advised to replace the valve cover gasket, which cost me $166.50. When I went back home in Georgia, I went to Mocks Motors for checking my car carpet, for it was wet all the time since in Cincinnati. On July 16, 2026, the mechanic told me that someone had inserted an object in my AC hose, which was the main reason for the flood. And they also suggested me to change the valve cover gasket, for there was oil leaking. They showed me the spot I already replaced in Cincinnati, and it was still dirty and didn't seem like good and proper work was done. Thus, I needed to change again for $168. I suspect that it was Tire Plus that did something in my AC hose, for I hadn't had any issues of the wet carpet until I sent my car to that Tire Plus. But I have no proof for that. On top of that, I am really upset about the lousy work they had done on my car for the valve cover gasket, and now I demand a refund for that part. I emailed and called, but the Tire Plus manager Jeff didn't reply to me. read more

Pleased to be able to get immediate help with a flat tire. Questioned service guy about my repair and was falsely accused of using an f-bomb accusation. Back on the road, I had an unmistakable unbalanced tire. It's possible that the repairman knocked off a tire-balancing weight just for spite! It cost me over $60 to get my tires rebalanced. About a month ago I needed new tires. I stopped in to get the tires replaced and figured I would get the oil change performed too. The car was ready in record time although when I started it my alarm on my car went off alerting me that my oil level was critically low. I got out and went inside to see if they just needed to resent something. When we came out my car was surrounded by oil. The tech explained they had tried to use the wrong size oil filter but they would fix it. Today my light came on saying I was extremely low on oil. Took it to the dealer and they said I was lucky but when the oil was changed they barely put anything back in once they fixed it. Word of wisdom....tires are good but leave the oil change to someone else. read more

I took my SUV to Symmes Township store for a brake check. They gave my car a complete inspection and made several recommendations. They were very honest about my brakes not needing to be done for a while. They did a good job on the things I was able to address for now. Very thorough and went over everything with me. I've taken my car here for a few years now to swap out my wheels for the winter. They are friendly and are always able to fit me in quickly. Service prices are very reasonable. No pressured upselling. They typically will provide a printed quote for new tires almost with your receipt if your tires will need to be replaced soon, but I've always appreciated the info and never felt pressure. read more

To be fair, I didn't purchase anything. Had a really large nail which caused a flat tire. After hubby put the spare on, I went to Michel to see if they could fix it. They couldn't because the nail was too close to the shoulder of the tire. He gave me quotes on different quality tires and quantities in case I wanted to replace the front two or all of them. No pressure at all. Extremely clean on the inside. As a matter of fact, they were having the bathrooms repainted while I was there. The funny part is there is a big glass jar which contains some of the things that have punctured tires that were brought in. He said he would definitely like my nail aka spike if I came back. The other day I noticed what looked like a screw in my tire. So, before it went flat I rode up to Michael Tires. Person there was very friendly and helpful. I explained the situation and showed him the screw. It was late in the day, but they could get me right in. The put my vehicle up on the lift, pulled the tire and pulled out the screw. Well, it turns out the screw did not puncture the rubber, so there was no hole to fix. Showed me the screw. Put the tire back on and did a vehicle check. All done and there was no charge. While you can say there was nothing to fix so there should not be a charge they did spend time with my vehicle checking it out. Very pleasant experience. Will definitely be going back when I need new tires. read more

We had the misfortune of getting a flat tire while on our way home from a weekend getaway to Ohio. We came here to get just one tire changed and we found out that we actually need to get three new tires. The staff was incredibly helpful, they gave me a great deal, and went out of their way to make my visit the least painful it could be. The front desk employee was awesome when she found out that we were on our way home and my rim might not be saved, she looked up different places that we could stop along the way to pick up a new rim. The folks at tires plus make the tire purchasing process very simple and do quality work while keeping the price tag within reason. I took my Explorer in for a front end alignment...when they were finished with the alignment I was told that my struts were leaking and they should be replaced. I asked how much an was told about $800..I went into the hospital for some heart problem...to the tune of $65,000. My son offered to replace the struts for me..when he completed the work he told me to have the front end aligned again. Went back to Michel tire and was questioned why it needed aligned when it was just done...I told them I had so front end work done...they took my Explorer in the bay and I was told that my explorer couldn't be aligned because the tie rod end were all messed up ( were they made they didn't get the $800)..Took my Explorer to Firestone on Tylersville Rd..and they aligned it...Evendale Michel Tire won't see my Explorer again...please use caution with this place read more

I will start by saying that I have been a patron here since I had my 1st car, 3 years ago. Everything from oil changes to tires, I've done at the Michel Tires location. They have always done well and that is why I continued to take my vehicles to this location. Recently, I HAVE NOT been pleased with the service I received. I paid for a full diagnostic, and was told what had to be done to my Corolla, and in total it would cost 657 and some change. I was approved for credit and felt that it was manageable to pay that amount, six months same as cash. However, the next day I received a call saying that because of the cold weather, they noticed a problem with a head gasket. Best case scenario, I would be charged 1900 dollars. Worst case, it would run me 2500. I told the employee absolutely not, to park my car and do no more damage to it. The FULL diagnostic did not show an issue with a head gasket, but the next day it was evident because of "cold weather". The employee offered to explain to me what a head gasket was, so that I would better understand the price. I told him that though I was a woman, I wasn't stupid. I know what a head gasket is, and was VERY offended that he felt my outrage was due to ignorance on my part, due to me being a female. Obviously upset and after saying that I would no longer be a patron, the employee offered to do the work for $800. I accepted, because that was a reasonable way to solve my frustration. I was told that my car would be back in my possession by Friday, at the ABSOLUTE latest, Saturday. I apologized for being so upset, and the employee was very gracious in accepting my apology. Now, it is MONDAY, and I still do not have my vehicle!! With my husband being a firefighter on 24 hour shifts, I have been left with no way to work. Expecting to receive my vehicle Friday or Saturday, I wasn't too worried, but now I am beginning to reconsider continuing to be a patron of this location. They left a message on my voicemail saying that I would receive my vehicle by Tuesday, but I have absolutely no trust in this what so ever. read more

I was in OH for training to open my own Home Helper business and ended up with a flat tire and a dead battery. Dangerous to the uninformed. Charges women with the "vagina tax". When I took my car in for an oil/filter change I also had a question about my gas gauge. The needle had flipped over and went below the EMPTY needle. I had originally forgot to include this in my request, and I went out to eat while they had the car. I called back to the shop and informed them of this request. Nothing was said except for a simple acknowlegement. When I returned to the shop, the clerk charged me an extra $42.50. When I asked about the charge he said "I know it might have been noisy where you were, but I told you about this charge." It wasn't noisy. He also then went on to explain that the repair for the gas gauge would be about $600 dollars. I had no intent to spend that much and went for a second opinon. The second mechanic recognized it as a vaccum line problem and fixed it for free. Also, Michael Tire told me all of my fluid levels were fine, and had been topped off, but the other mechanic identified and demonstrated that statement was complete bullshit. got 4 new tires and they said I need front brakes 'right away' and certainly 'within a week or two' and quoted me a price of 330.00. not only pads, but rotors too. this made me a little suspicious. took the car to a mechanic I had used in the past and he said I had 40-50% usage in them and to have them checked in 6 months. he said 'looks like someone was trying to take you to the cleaners'. read more
