An affordable mechanic? No way! Yup- it is true, I found the perfect auto shop for my baby- my Jeep!!! I stumbled upon SGA through a friend. I popped into the office in hopes of scheduling a future oil change and was pleasantly surprised when Carlos, the manager, said he could take care of my girl right away. This was awesome news because I have neglected my girl and her oil change was long over due. Within minutes my car was on the rack. I relaxed in their office area- which looks NOTHING like the drab, greasy, cluttered, and dirty customer waiting area you expect to find at the mechanics. This place is very retro with an old school record player (and an awesome selection of vinyls), amazing photo prints line the walls (compliments of Carlos's brother- the photographer) and the environment is so clean and welcoming. I talked with the employees long after my Jeep was finished (which only took 20 minutes.) These guys are so warm & friendly you just want to hang out all day and have coffee & conversation! They also offer a very cut-to-the-chase rewards card... Every $1.00 you spend on their services, you get .05 cents back on your rewards card. I estimate if I bring my Jeep here for regular oil changes than I'll accumulate enough rewards to use towards a free oil change... Who doesn't love free??? I HIGHLY recommend you pay these folks a visit!

I did not believe that at first and I did not see any indication of any thing wrong with my tires, but I went along with what they said because they are the professionals. They said they did which I dont believe. . long story short they said the problem is my drive train is worn out and I need a new one. they claim that two different problems were causing the vibration. the likelihood in my opinion of having two different issues causing the same problem is pretty much unbelievable the reality is they either misdiagnosed the problem or they are crooked. either way I don't want anything to do with them again. I bought four new tires at $862 which i believe were not needed. That they conveniently profited from.

If I took it to the dealership to have them perform the Diagnostics Scan Codes it would have cost $140.00 and it would have been there all day, but I would have gotten a rental car. When I asked Jeff how long it would take him he said an hour or less and I asked why the difference between him and the dealership and he explained it to me and also said that the scan itself would only take an hour at the dealership as well. I saved myself $ 50.00 and pulled a chair outside his shop, enjoyed the breeze and in no time at all the work was done!! Yes, he (Jeff) reset the Code and I was Happy!! I was nervous a bit to be honest cause I know some mechanics can be "rough" on treatment (like leave a scratch or dirty the interior, etc. When I arrived, comfort wasn't immediate, but as soon as I discussed with them as to what I needed done to the vehicle, I knew it was going to be in good hands. This all started by me thinking I could charge it because it wasn't getting cold enough and probably was a little low. Well it got worse. C&L told me someone over charged it and that they would only change me for an hour of shop time. They could have taken advantage of me but they didn't, that means a lot to me. Lessen learn to me. That's why they have a vary expensive machine to check the A/C. Thanks Doug
