On our way to MI and came out of our Airbnb and noticed our tire was low. Was able to find this tires plus just down the road. We went there at 7:30 in the morning and the manager was nice enough to get our car in the shop within 15 minutes found the tiny hole and plugged it so we could get back on the road at a decent time. I made an appointment online on a Sunday morning. I drove almost 1 hour to the shop at 2pm and as I was pulling in I got a call from them stating they don't have the tires in stock. The person I spoke to said they will have them in by Tuesday and he will honor the sale price. Made an appointment on Tuesday. Tuesday morning I get a text appointment is canceled. Check the app it has me listed for 3 appointments on Tuesday. 2 canceled and 1 is not. I call number on text message and get no answer several time over next few hours. I googled the store and the number in the text message was the wrong number. I calll they advise me appointment is still set. I get there they put on the new tires. When I go to pay my bill is $500 more than it should be.. I explain to the guy I was told since my appointment was canceled they would honor the sale price. He said I can knock off $130. I told him absolutely not I want the sale price I was promised. Thank the lord I screen shot the price and showed him. I asked him who did I speak to on Sunday and he said store manager. I said call him. He then honored the price finally instead of calling the manager. Meanwhile I can see the work order on his desk and the sale price was hand written on the form. So I guess he thought I was another push over that a mechanic shop could scam on price. Even the the tires are great I would never go back to any tires plus. Oil change and tire rotation-arrived for appointment on time and shop was slow. One hour later my car was done- other customers came and went for same service- why I asked myself - no oil filter for my car and mechanic waited for 50 minutes to get it as I saw heritage it out I f plasticity after it was delivered- no apologies given just a usual response. Tires plus saved our trip to visit family in Illinois by plugging our tire that got a screw in it. We got there right before they were supposed to close and they were willing to get the job done and get us back on the road. Torin did a great job fixing the tire! Customer Service was great. Justin the store manager was awesome and very personable. We will be back to get 2 more tires soon. He was having a trying day but kept a positive attitude the whole time. First of all, I have never reviewed any company, good or bad, as I believe we're all human and prone to missteps once in a while. With that being said, I am a 30+ year loyal customer of Tires Plus Total Car Care and have given you thousands of dollars in business over that timeframe. However, my interaction with the Appleton Store #244255 on West Wisconsin was nothing I had ever experienced before as a customer in ANY retail business setting. I was in the store recently discussing details about some service (totaling $1,172.11) I had completed back on December 14, 2024. The manager became very irritated at my questions and, to my shock, dropped the F bomb. This was not only very disrespectful to me, but very unprofessional in a business setting. I called him out on it and requested he clean up his language, but he didn't apologize. His goal in the conversation was to belittle me and hurl obscenities without listening to my side of the story. I told him I couldn't tolerate that kind of language and would no longer bring my business to Tires Plus. He said he didn't care, accused me of threatening him, and encouraged me to go elsewhere. Unfortunately, this particular franchise location of the company prides itself on rudely "winning" discussions rather than empathizing with their long-term loyal customers and make things right by reaching a mutually beneficial solution. I concluded our discussion by thanking him for his time. I'm surprised that this particular franchise location isn't working harder to retain good customers. But I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. There are many better local options for vehicle repair work in the Valley for my friends and family. I contacted socialcare@bfrc.com on 1/31/2025, 2/4/2025 and 2/8/2025 in order to discuss, but have yet to hear back from their District Manager. BTW, my question revolved around a measly $30.99 line-item charge on my invoice. Poor customer service all they want is to sell new tires . I won't go their if you just need tire mounted.

It has been my to go place for 2 years on preventive maintenance because of their added value service and competitive prices.

Told me my engine was basically junk because it was 3.5 quarts low and that fried the engine. Said they put 3 quarts and still couldn't get it to work. (Later found out was a lie) Quoted me a new engine for $8,500. Kbb @ 10K. We sold the vehicle believing their diagnostics were correct even after I told him that couldn't be the end all be all. The guy I sold it to, for about 7K less than it was worth (running) fixed it in two hours by putting 3 quarts of oil in and messing with a bolt. So I'm out 7K because of their ineptitude and still had to pay their $120 diagnosis fee that the manager wouldn't remove or reimburse. Urge others to be cautious and seek a 2nd opinion for anything other than an oil change. read more

I had a number of issues with the Tires Plus on the Eastside, the shop goes in waves of good and bad. Poor quality of work, bad customer service, just generally bad experiences. I tried the Tires Plus on the Westside of town. They fixed my car it seemed better. Well right up until today. I had my wife's car in at Bergstrom to get an oil change and some additional work. They found the alignment was bad as well as the tires. I have the lifetime of the tires warranty on 80,000 mile tires and alignment package at Tires Plus. Surprise surprise they do not want to honor the warranty on the tires. They claim there is no documentation of any work done at Tires Plus. I take her car in every 3 months for oil and a tire rotation, now it was at the Eastside and their record keeping is terrible. Essentially claiming no work has been done since the tires were put on... well thats a lie, we have done tire rotations, had a battery installed, even had a wiper stolen by TiresPlus, see my previous review etc... In addition they magically found several items that the Bergstrom Techs did not find two days ago, that also would void the warranty. At that point I just said well give me the keys and a copy of the work we are done. They do not stand by their warranties and will find a way to get around it. In addition my largest concern is the blatant sexism at their shop. When I called they treat me reasonable and were able to make some progress. When my wife took the car in, Mark talked down to her and treated her like a lesser being. When I went in his attitude changed, not right, not right at all. Pick any other shop out of the phone book or online, they have to be better than Tires Plus! Their work is subpar, they do not honor warranties and they are sexist.
