I've taken my car to the dealership where I bought it for four years and after finally being fed up…read morewith their terrible and incompetent service I took my car to TireCo. The last time I took it to the dealership it was to change worn brake pads and scored rotors. I also asked them to check the e brake. They said my e brake was fine and replaced the rotors and pads. That was 10 months and just under 20,000km ago. Now my pads need to be changed again and the rotors are scored again and they provided absolutely no warranty on any of the work they do (except Ford lifetime warranty on pads). Total estimate about $370-$380 including free pads. I took the car to TireCo for a second opinion and they confirmed the e brake was sticking which was causing the rotors to score and premature wear on the pads. And instead of mindlessly putting on new pads and rotors which would just get warn out again in a few months they told me to get the e brake fixed then change the pads/rotors. They didn't even charge me anything for looking at it! I will only take my car to TireCo now!

If I could give zero stars, I would…read more I brought my car in for a quick front brake replacement because they were squealing (and any simpleton can tell when it's time for a brake change.) After several days, I received a phone call from them insisting that I buy four new tires & have them replace all four brakes. I told them to go ahead as I knew my tires were worn out & obviously my brakes were the primary reason I brought my car to their shop. A week later I was called to come in & get my car because it was ready to be picked up. I was greeted with a $2000 bill. I was having a bad day so I just paid it and left since that was just making my day worse. Once I got home I looked over the bill. Not only did they only replace my REAR brakes... But they threw in 2 new calipers on the back (which is ridiculous as my car is only 3 years old) that's when I realized that they completely disregarded what I asked for when I brought my car in, but they added something obscenely expensive without even asking me. They were $260 each, which added an unnecessary $600 to my bill. Not only that but they charged me $300 just for the labour. Also, a week later, the exact same squealing sound came back which seems like they did some sort of temporary fix so that I would have to bring it back in to them. Luckily I contacted my older brother & he checked the front brakes for me... What he discovered was completely worn out brake pads. They were purely metal scraping against my rotors which now meant that I needed my rotors replaced too. This means that they either didn't check them.. Or saw them & didn't care. Luckily with some strings pulled I was able to get PREMIUM PADS & ROTORS for a total of $100 & free installation by my brother. I have now paid $1400 more than I needed to when I just needed a simple brake job done. I wasn't born yesterday & I know that it doesn't take any longer than an hour to do brakes on a simple car, especially after watching the front ones done in an hour. I will NEVER come back to this scam of a shop & I will make sure that every single person I talk to won't ever bring their vehicle in to Master Mechanic to have their money stolen. Horrible service & they don't even seem like they care when you talk to them.

I dropped my vehicle off for a tire change and alignment. I was told that it would take 2 hours to complete. I returned 3 hours later to find out that my vehicle was sitting in the parking lot and my winter tires had not been installed. The technician had left the facility and my keys could not be found. After 15 minutes of cluelessness someone found my keys! I received no phone call or notification that only half of the work had been completed. This business does not care about the value of your time, cannot communicate, and is completely disorganized. This is the definition of gross incompetence. After 2 weeks of waiting for this appointment this is the type of service you receive. I will never be back! I have made it clear to friends and colleagues who are patrons of this organization, to avoid this place or run the risk of a similar outcome. Customer Beware! I have never seen a procedure as simple as a tire change so poorly mismanaged.
