When I first went there I was told by 2 other businesses that I needed new tires. What do I know about tires ...well to make a point blank statement I was told by Somer tires that I would get at least 2 more seasons maybe 3 before having to replace my tires. Some other Buisnesses are crooks but at Somer Tires they treat you like family. It also helps to know that the buisness your dealing with doesn't shoot you a lot of Bull C...There honest and reliable. I send all my friends to Somer Tires. They have been great with me - letting me stop in when I had a TPM issue. They reseated my tire and let me know that the TPM was a module not in the wheel itself. It's worked fine since. I visited the new location today to swap my tires. It took about 15 minutes. All the staff are amazing. The new location is easier to get to - bright and clean. The Woodlawn location is as well but I live much closer to the Whitelaw one. I highly recommend them. Prices are great and you can't beat the staff! We will be getting new tires for our other vehicle in the fall and will definitely go to Ted's!

Friendly guys at Dettmer 5 stars for them however…read more.. When I moved to Guelph in the summer I was recommended to Dettmer by a local friend as a place to store my offseason tires. I dropped my tires off and paid the $75 they asked and thought that was for the year plus the cost to switch them. I was pretty shocked when I went to pay for getting my snows on to find out I had to pay the $75 again plus the cost to change the tires (on rims already). I'm even more shocked to come to the page here for them and see the ad for $50 for winter tire storage and again no mention of having to pay it twice per year. Misleading IMPO.
