Turns out it was just the thermostat and he fixed it for me for quite a bit of money. My check engine light came back on when I was 3 hours north and my engine temperature was almost red lining. The owners only suggestion was that I tow it down to their shop, right... he refused to accept any fault. Luckily, a mechanic friend diagnosed that the engine was missing about 2 L of coolant and Jane Park likely didn't purge and refill the coolant reservoir when complete. Again, Jane Park refused to accept any fault. He told me to bring it back in so they could check everything out again. He charged me for a new coolant cap, wouldn't even throw that in as goodwill. Keep in mind I'm 8.5 months pregnant at this time and he couldn't even throw me a bone, considering I was stranded 3 hours away from home. Won't go back. Women beware, unless you enjoy being called Dear and being jerked around.

We've had European, Japanese, and domestics. They work on all of them, and if there is something specialized (ie specific luxury german car programming or recalls) they just give me the honest advice and advise what to do as opposed to trying to make a quick buck off me. They're a great shop to drop in, get things done on time, and then be on your way. Most importantly for a mechanic they explain things well, no nasty surprises, and the pricing is very fair and transparent.
