My wife had an accident with her Honda CRV. On May 6, 2014 I drove to Golden Triangle and parked it in front of the office .. where it appeared that one should park; in the driveway but not blocking it. .... When I got there the receptionist was on the phone -- but on hold, not talking to anyone. She ignored me. Several people were standing in the office behind her. Also ignored me. Two of them were walking out and I asked, "Are you going out to write estimates?" He replied, "No, and if that's your car over there, can you move it?" Well, I did move it ... drove it to Majestic Collision where they seemed to want the business and they got the $2200 repair job instead. I complained to CAA who recommends Golden Triangle. Andrew Weiberg, CSR manager at CSN Golden Triangle Collision, sent me an e-mail on May 6, 2014 requesting additional info. I sent that to him. To this day, I never heard back from them or from CAA. I'm sure that others have gotten better service and perhaps mine was an isolated experience. But give enough potential customers that experience and one day, the business will regret it. ... btw, I am a retired Insurance Claims Manager who had set up Preferred Shop Programs all over Central Ontario (not Guelph). read more
