This place is right down the street from where I live and I had no idea if they were going to be any good. But one morning I woke up and my car was on the ground because of a flat tire so I had to get somewhere close and this was it. The guys were so sweet to me-they filled up my tire and didn't say a word about charging me, and when I needed an inspection and I went back because they were so nice to me. Luis did the inspection and then he gave me free windshield wipers which I needed desperately at that time. I went back by about a month later when I had to take a small road trip and I got my oil changed and I asked Luis to check out my car to make sure it was ready for a long distance. I thought he was just going to check my fluids and tell me everything looked OK but he spent several minutes going over my entire car and then proceeded to explain to me in detail the items that needed to be addressed. My cousin who is also a mechanic had told me those same issues prior to that, and EVERYTHING Luis had said matched up perfectly. He assured me that my car was roadworthy, and alas, I was able to take the road trip with absolutely no problems. Since then, I have had other work done to my car by Luis and his staff. He is always extremely courteous, always has a welcoming smile on his face, and is always 100% honest with me. As a female, it is very difficult to find a mechanic that you can trust all the way around. I had one I could trust on another side of town and I am so thankful to have found Luis right down the street from me. If you live anywhere in a 10-mike radius, look no further than Tire Store Service Center. read more

I needed an oil change and was having a hard time trusting someone to do it. The last place really messed me over with my car. I found this place on my way to work. They got me in and out within 25 mins or so. They looked busy. I paid almost as much as I paid before but this was not full synthetic oil. It would've been $80! Ouch. That's my only gripe. I paid $56.93. read more

Gerardo, this is invoice #14274. Attached is a small clip of Lizandro, the mechanic who worked on my vehicle, confirming on July 16 (48 hours after picking up my vehicle) that the parking brake chime was not repaired after being in your shop for five working days. Yet, he charged $270 for "labor" (as noted on the receipt) to pay himself for the supposed time he wasted on my vehicle. In the full video, your clerk also confirms that $300 was the estimate (or quote) that was given to REPAIR the parking brake chime issue. She tried to claim that the $270 was a diagnostic fee but I quickly corrected her as the invoice clearly noted "labor". I'm sure you have the interaction recorded: "No, no se arreglo. Se arreglo solamente la direccional." Not only do you and Lizandro claim that I did not allow enough time to complete the repair, but you both also deny acknowledging the damages your team member(s) made to the gear shift boot and refuse to provide a $270 refund and compensation for damages. To provide full transparency, my vehicle was dropped of at 8am on Wednesday, July 9, for the following issues: 1. Parking brake chime on all the time and 2. Turn signal doesn't click when activated. After following up on days 3, 4, and 5 with no definite repair plan or repair timeline for item #1, I picked up my vehicle at 6pm on Monday, July 14. I allowed your shop five full working days to diagnose, provide a repair plan and estimate, troubleshoot, and execute the repair. While I completely understand that my vehicle was not the only vehicle in your shop, five working days was more than sufficient time to identify the issue and complete the repair. Even if my vehicle was not given priority over other repairs, an experienced, reliable mechanic and a responsible, customer service-oriented owner would not have allowed more than two days to pass without completing a relatively small electrical issue. To reiterate, I was charged the $270 I was quoted to REPAIR the parking brake chime issue on my vehicle (minus $30 for what I assume was the price for the part that was NOT used), yet my vehicle was not repaired after being in your possession for five full days AND your team member(s) damaged my vehicle. AND PLEASE don't try to argue that $270 was a diagnostics fee because your mechanic clearly could NOT isolate/identify the issue. While this review will remain on Google, Yelp, Trustpilot, and any other review and rating platforms, you still have time to correct the issue before I file a claim with the court. Which reminds me, since I did NOT sign the receipt, I am not obliged to incur the cost of any legal or filing fees and will be included as part of the disputed amount. -Pedro A. read more

Very speedy service. 10/10 recommend. Great customer service. Very good value would come back again.

Consistently fast and good. They go out of their way to not overcharge you and turn around repairs same day, usually within a couple of hours. I've been burned by lots of mechanic shops over the years, but these guys have always been great! read more

I really was impressed by the speed here. I was in and out in no time. However, here is a warning: given that we are still living in a global pandemic, I was really alarmed when the person who was doing an inspection on my car was mask-less while in my car and when he walked over to me to bring me my keys inside. As I drove off, I grew wary thinking that the air I was breathing in my own car may not be safe. So while their timing is fantastic, I do not recommend going here at this particular time as our cases are starting to increase again here in Houston. They are entirely too lax with their masks (despite having a sign on their door saying masks are required). read more

Some of the friendliest, nicest, employees in the East End. The lady up front is amazing and has great communication skills and seems to genuinely care about your service. Great prices and great customer service 10/10 read more

I just got back from getting my oil changed here. The receptionist was very sweet and they got me in and out in less than 30 mins during lunch time which is a miracle. I'm used to waiting at least an hour, so I will be going back for any other service in the future. Be sure to look at their website for coupons. read more

Tire Store Service Center - Auto Repair Near Me - Houston, Texas

Took car there to have tires mounted and balanced. Noticed one missing wheel cap and asked to have it back. Tech claims there was never one there even though I had just looked while I was there to check to make sure all four wheel locks were in place prior to handing over the keys. They just denied it. Will never come back read more

Not happy at all brought my jeep here get my motor done and radiator. When I left the premises I couldn't get it going. The gears were all jacked up. Never had a problem they weren't in proper gear. Took it back the first day then week 1/2 later letting know my vehicle wasn't driving as before the motor my jeep would no longer reverse. Never had a problem with the transmission before period. In the first place they kept promising my jeep one day to the next. They kept telling me it would be ready tomorrow for a dam week. I should of known then something was wrong. Even when I called and the guy who answer the phone said oh we had a problem. I should give it one star. I'm pretty pissed and I shouldn't have to pay for something on their part. read more

This shop is my go to for my Porsche. They can't fix everything but the basics like , oil, tires, gas tanks, axel , anything that they do not have to pull the engine out. They can freaking do it. They fixed a problem relating to my gas tank for under 150$ at the other store they were asking 150$ just to get a quote. I LOVE this place, everyone is respectful and very nice and communication is excellent . They never try to steal yr money like these other mechanics. They are not just a tire shop! Go here! read more

I've been a customer since the shop opened and I'm very pleased w/the services. They are knowledgeable, fast, efficient and fair on pricing! The owners Gerardo & Luis has always been honest & efficient. There has been occasions where I've taken my car somewhere else if I'm not in the area, and other people have tried to scam me. Luis & Gerardo will always advice on what is needed for my vehicle not what they can profit from. I appreciate this so much, because as a female it is very hard to find a mechanic that will not try to scam you. I have walked in thinking I need something done bc someone else told me so, and I've walked out not needing it bc they are honest mechanics. They recently added tire services, and I've already purchased my first set from them. So far they are running smooth and my car even feels more aligned than it does when I take it to Discount Tires. read more

Polite and very professional Owner and Staff. I been coming here since 2009 while I was still a student at the University of Houston. Thorough review of your vehicle every time with detail quotes for parts and labor. They will tell you what can and can't wait (Best part for me). Very honest and affordable prices and quick reliable work. I live in Spring, TX now but definitely worth the drive for the great service and quality work. Ask for Luis. read more

Had a blown tire from a pothole downtown go figure. And at the most inopportune time. :( This was the closest tire shop and thank goodness for that. They didn't have my size however Luis was cool and accommodating. Went to grab one for me! The staff and service are top notch. I'd go back in time of a tire crisis for sure! read more

I've been going here for three years now since moving to Second Ward. I've never had a bad experience. They're attentive and communicative and even more important, I trust them. I've recommended this shop to friends who in turn have gotten their vehicles fixed here. You can't put a price on integrity. I guess the only criticism I can think of is they are often swamped with cars (although wait times are pretty standard.) Hopefully one day they're able to expand with their expanding customer base. read more
