We had a terrible experience. They damaged our car, specifically the rear bumper when they pulled out the tire, they claimed it was not them, they claimed that they watched the video footage but refused to show us the video. Just by looking at the damage you can tell they bended the rear bumper from inside out. We reached out to Corporate office and they said that the manager is the one making the decision. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I now have to repair the damage and pay around $600 out of pocket. Very unprofessional people. Such a mediocre little place staffed by mediocre little people. It's the only "national" chain in South Miami, so, right next door and I know that being "national" I will get better results if something happens. But everyone in the store seems listless, without energy, just dragging their butts until the day is over. The guy there just says "just doing my job sir" with everything and won't even make eye contact. Their entire business manner is just perfunctory. The waiting area is just a tired couple of ragged armchairs, a horrible, uninviting coffee thing that looks dirty and a TV set to the lowest common denominator channel. Everyone here is a turd. Went in for alignment and left with truck driving worse than went in. Calling corporate Monday and requesting pulling the camera footage from the shop. I called back and they were incredibly insulting and rude. I asked for the numbers from the alignment computer and they said they do t do that. After a little on phone they said they would refund me. Edited: they gave me a refund. Said they don't keep the alignment numbers and yet the Manager pulled from trash can. You can see for yourself. Corporate will be notified. They offered the refund because they knew they were in the wrong. Filmed the whole thing too. Similar to the review I posted the screen shot of... they must have been on a roll with this one. I had a flat that needed to be replaced. I used to work at Splitsville so I took it in before going to work. While I was at work they told me something similar about a shock boot that was torn and oil leaking from it. I wish I kept that invoice and got the name of the person that did the job that day. It was a weekend and I needed my car to be fixed that day for a trip so even though something felt wrong about what he was telling me, I went through with it. I know better now. They're a business trying to upsell you things just like the stealership. They probably really only changed the tires. Definitely got overcharged in the hundreds. Took the L, but now that I won't be back there I can help other people avoid going through the same things. Find a mechanic you trust and stick with them. Always cheaper to buy the parts somewhere else and save on labor with someone you can trust or to learn how to do something yourself. You don't have to get anything done there and they'll try to make things sound "urgent"... sometimes they might be... but just have them print what they found and get a 2nd or even 3rd opinion. Especially with the internet now you can make smarter decisions. I ended up getting front and rear struts and shocks for my car for $250 shipped.. A Complete set!!!!!! A fraction of what they charged me to change a "boot" or whatever they made up. It was so much I told them to just do the rears and not the front. Later when I had to change one of my tires I noticed one of the pegs where the nut goes was shorter and the nut was different from the others. I'm 100% sure that happened there also. My last tips, If you get work done on your car somewhere check to make sure what work was done, that it was done properly, and that they didn't mess anything else up on your car. Oil change, do it yourself. If they mention anything about filters, the cabin air and the one under your hood, change those yourself also. I really wish I had the invoice and the service reps name for that day. The first experience I had there was a little more pleasant and straightforward. The second was the last. I brought my mother-in-law's car to the shop because the tires needed air. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a very friendly worker who filled my tires. They showed me a nail in one of the tires and explained all of my options. They were very informative. This place sucks. We had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They said it would be at least 3 hours. We came back to pickup the car and they said they couldn't rotate the tires- so it took 3+ hours for an oil change. Also- why didn't they call and let us know the couldn't rotate the tires or provide other options? Very unprofessional. The people who work at this location don't help the cause. Isn't it bad enough when you get a nail in your tire? It just adds salt to the wound when you are told you need a new tire on top of it. Sounded fishy - I was told I had a bubble on the inside edge of my tire because I hit something. But... I had just had my tires rotated and had just replaced my rear tires with my dealer last week. And - no, I didn't hit anything. Thought I could get my tire patched up quicker here. Nope. Went with my gut, didn't let them sell me a new tire. Went to the dealership and had my tire patched up. There was no bubble. Guess they saw a 911 and a woman and figured I was an easy up-sell. Sure, it was more expensive to get the patch at The Collection... But it was exponentially cheaper than having to get a new tire. This is what gives tire kingdom a bad rep. And, they lost business. Came here for an oil change and tire rotation. The team took care of it - no muss, no fuss. They provided a professional, quick service that was reasonably priced - I would say generously priced. Appt was for 5 pm. Car was ready at 5:32. I painted marks on my tire so I could visually confirm the rotation. They were rotated. The best part about the entire experienced was that I was never pushed to do anything else or pushed for a more expensive product, which is usually what happens when I go into any service center alone as a woman. read more

Scam Alert!!! I've been using Tire Kingdom for Tires for over 15 years for myself and my business and was familiar with their aggressive tactics to up sale u on everything. But I'm male and know my cars so they back off once they c they can't cheat me. The few times my wife goes they try to scam her with repairs she doesn't need. I went last week for my alinement/rotation on my less than 1 year tires which is covered by a 5 year warranty. They went out to check on my tires w/o checking their system when I last purchased them and told me I needed 4 new tires, I told them tires were new, he persisted in telling me I needed new tires before they can honor alignment.. We went back and forth in a room full of customers. He finally checked his computer agreed when I told him they were cheating customers and threatened a possible lawsuit for breach of contract. He then backed off and said he would do it but I was putting my family at risk. LOLOLOLO WTF!!! Tire Kingdom is running a scam and they need to be investigated by the State of Florida for running an aggressive up selling operations not a tire and care repair shop. Went in for a conventional oil change for the first time. The guy attending to me just kept saying "that's a no no" like as if I was a 5 year old and tries to lecture me how bad conventional oil is and if that's what I want then that's my choice fine... the entire time I'm thinking to myself, if it's so bad why is it an option? But I kept it to myself. He kept trying to push FULL synthetic on me. I kept stating no I want the conventional and advised him I've done conventional in the past even from the dealer. I was getting annoyed at this point. I already had booked the appointment online prior to walking in and got to see all the COMPATIBLE options with my car (Honda civic exl 2018) he all the sudden went from stating its my choice to your car can only do full synthetic starts trying to talk to some other guy to try and convince me with all this Mumbo jumbo. Then turns to me and goes it's full synthetic or I can't help you out. I grabbed my keys and said thank you, walked away livid because of the waste of my time. I didn't push the matter because one I was annoyed by the guy already and two I didn't want them to mess something up in my car out of spite. Mind you on their website it matched the conventional oil with being compatible on my car (I inserted a picture), I've done conventional in the past several times, all forums online I've read state that I can use conventional, mechanics have said in the past I can use conventional. My car is a lease, it's not a performance vehicle, I don't use it to haul anything. They just saw a girl coming in and tried to up sell or just didn't want to do the work, who knows. All I know is this is my first and last time at that location. Also later this same day I went into another tire kingdom, one in naranja Florida... just to see if my suspicions were correct and that I wasn't insane, to make sure I was reading correct information. Sure as hell, the man who attended me in the other location did my oil change without any issue and stated it was compatible and fine to do with my car. I had my rims detailed and fixed a week before, and decided to go to this Tire Kingdom to change a couple of the tires. I can't begin ti explain how unprofessional EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE was. Throwing everything around recklessly... obviously it's not their car so why care? They ended up scratching all of the rims to the point where I need them repaired again. One of their employees came out, saw the car and took prictures when I complained. Then I called corporate and requested a refund, to which they said not at first. Asked them to look at the footage and see the employees throwing toolboxes on top of my rims. They finally said that they would send a check in two months later the check has not arrived. Spoke with employee Bryan P over the phone who does NOT follow through on his word. Said the check was in the mail and it's been 5+ weeks. After speaking to the store manager, Benjamin Bryant, he went to see the mileage on my car. As soon as he went out, I clearly heard an employee joking with him about ME. "That's a dude, That's a fucking dude bruh". Manager Bryant came back and i waited for an apology. When I did not get the apology I deserved, I said "Did your employee say something?" He just laughed off that he was 'joking'. I continued "It is not appropriate at all. I am just trying to have my car fixed" He did not respond. I continued "Did you say something (to correct him)?" as I was signing the paper before dropping off my car. He did not say anything. I repeated, "Did you say something to him?". He then says smiling "today is 9/10/2018" prompting me to sign the paper. Being misgendered, belittled and objectified when you are a PAYING customer is not a laughing matter. You cannot just laugh it off like nothing had happened. I wasn't looking to be commented on my gender and get called names. Let's be honest, regardless of your belief - whether or not you think I am a 'man', Such comment on a customer is never okay. I am much more upset with the unwillingness of the manager to correct his supervisee and to give me an apology than the ignorance of the employee who actually said those words. The only problem I found was they do not seem to have a huge inventory and they have to order the tires, but they usually come the same day, but be prepared to leave your car for the day and not to wait for it. read more

I use to take my car here all the time since my car is like a magnet for rogue nails. However, the past year the service has been horrible! First of all, the will ALWAYS tell you that you need new tires, even if you don't at the moment. It's such a scheme! Earlier this year I took my car in to fix a flat... a tiny nail had punctured it and they told me no because I had "run flats" and it was company policy that they couldn't fix them. The guy even looked at my tires before telling me this. It turns out that I don't have run flats... and yes, it's my fault for not knowing that I did not, but when I took it to a nearby gas station and they did plugged it and were honest with me. Because of my own ignorance I gave the place another shot and went back to buy two new tires (not run flats) with a coupon and spoke to a different guy who I told the above story to and he admitted that whoever helped me probably didn't even look at my tires when he told me that. Not even an apology, just a point blank admission. Begrudgingly, I went back (because of it's convenient location close to a metro rail, after getting yet another screw in my brand new tire. I dropped my car off, told it would take about 2 hours and that they would call me. I didn't' hear from them until 4 1/2 hours later when I was told they could not fix it! No one had looked at my car for 4 1/2 hours! So if you take your car here, you have to literally sit in the lobby and watch them like a hawk in order to get your car back on time. First they tried the run flat thing AGAIN, and I flatly told them I knew perfectly well that they were not run flats and that I had bought them at that store. Then they told me some BS about where the nail punctured the tire and that the whole tire was compromised so I needed to buy a new one. My tire was a month old! I had it fixed somewhere else and the car is running fine. I like to give chances, but this is too much. I don't know if this place is under new management or the company's policies have changed to include sketchiness but what was once a reliable place to take my car has turned into a den of swindlers. read more
