This was a horrible experience. I made my 8AM appointment online, and was called by TK to confirm the appointment. So I figured everything was all set and the tires I ordered were in stock. The shop opened late, which should have been a red flag. The proper way to handle the customers who were already there would be to ask who had an appointment. Instead they just did it first com first served, so I didn't get seen in line until 8:20. I gave my name and they couldn't find me in the system. I gave them the order number from the confirmation email, and then he was able to find me. Second red flag. So I went to the waiting area. About an hour later the same rep comes and says he needs to talk to me for a minute. Third red flag. He said they weren't able to find the tires, so they looked at the computer and realized that the order wasn't placed for the tires. My question is how long did all this take? Were they just now getting to my car an hour late? Or did they look around for non-existent tires for an hour until they gave up? He showed me some comparable tires they had in stock and did a price match. So I chose some and went back to the waiting area. So I finally get my car and drive off. About 10 minutes into the drive the TPMS light comes on. That's five red flags at this point. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I restarted the calibration to make sure. In 5 minutes the light came back on. I went to a TK location in Winter Park because I was closer at that point. They checked my tires and said they were overinflated all to differing levels. The fixed it and I went on my way I'm never coming back to this location if I can help it. read more

Came in for a check engine light over a month ago, which they diagnosed as a faulty knock sensor and up charged for, but since I was already there and had to pay the diagnostic regardless I went through with it. They ordered the wrong part so I had to come back the next day. When I drove off the next day the light came back on and I returned immediately to which they re diagnosed it as a slew of other engine problems and leaks, which was news to me considering they let me leave without mention the first time. I left to research other mechanics because at this point they had lost my trust, and this is when I found Abe at Abe's Auto Repair. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty knock sensor, which I had just paid $300 to replace at TK, as well as showed me the multiple cut wires they had left me with to my oil pressure light, the knock sensor itself, and the thermostat to the radiator which I had recently fixed at that tire kingdom months prior. When I called back to try and right this situation and at least recover some of the money I threw away on their services (which evidently did more harm than good) they told me I should have come back to replace the knock sensor with them and denied that they could have cut any wires despite them being the only mechanic I had seen in the past year. Regardless if they cut the wires or not they were negligent to inform me which means they either have no clue how to recognize such obvious issues in a car or they were trying to shortcut me at the expense of my car in hopes I would return to resolve the issues they caused and profit even more off me, a seemingly naive younger woman they assumed would just roll over and take it. It has been over 2 weeks since I called to resolve these issues and each time I have called they told me their regional manager has my contact and they should be back with me in the next day, which evidently has not happened. They need to grow up and handle the damage they've caused and obviously I will not be caught dead at this tire kingdom again. read more

This Tire Kingdom repaired a flat tire on my vehicle FOR FREE when Toyota WP said the tire couldn't be repaired and was going to charge us $250 to replace it. Tire Kingdom did the job as "under warranty" even though these are the tires that came with the vehicle when we bought it a year ago and they were not the ones to provide the tires originally. Great company, would definitely use again and recommend hands down! They do more than tires too. read more

I normally go to tire kingdom to get my oil changed, among many other things. I want to emphasize that this review is for this particular location, not Tire Kingdoms at large. The reason for my 2 star rating is poor customer service, especially over the phone. Ever since they've changed managers, the customer service/phone support has gone down hill. The manager took care of me almost immediately whereas I'd need a miracle to get looked at same day act Costco where I normally get my damaged tires looked at. The mechanic I was assigned to did a great job and even better was able to walk me through a few things i wasn't even aware of that my vehicle needed. I'm glad I'm aware of them now to make plans to resolve those issues. I do plan on being back to this Tire Kingdom for that follow up work. read more

This location is a bad one in a bad chain. I had some work done on my 2012 Lincoln in August 2018. I asked them to rotate and balance the tires. When I left, at about 50 MPH, I experienced a loud rhythmic banging. I took the car back to TK and asked them to investigate the problem since I had JUST had the work done. Instead of seeing me quickly they told me they could get my car up in about 2 hours - and that the inspection would be $59. I had to have some other work done so I took the car to a Lincoln dealer instead. They told me that the skid plate was not reattached when TK did the tire work, and that had caused the banging. It also loosened and damaged my heat shield. They charged me $120 for new parts and labor to repair the skid plate and heat shield. I returned to TK later that week and asked them to reimburse me for the repairs that I felt they had caused by their carelessness. I was told the manager was not in that day and that I had to email him. I did so and he never responded. I followed up with a phone call and explained my case. He claimed that he could not help me without authorization from "corporate" and that as he was leaving that store in a few days it wasn't his problem and I would have to follow up with the new manager. Needless to say I got tired of the runaround and gave up. I have had bad experiences at TK before but this was the worst. Avoid. read more

Honestly the best experience I've received going to a non dealer service center. This tire kingdom had a really knowledgeable staff who are transparent. They don't bath around the bush and tell it how it is. They were able to help me out with an alignment on a busy day. I did have to wait but totally understandable as I had walked in. I came here because there were tons of problems with my car and I wanted Tire Kingdom to run a full diagnostic on it. I talked to the manager, Richard, and told him of the known problems. I left my vehicle there and waited for a phone call to pick it up. Richard called me back, and was up front and very honest about my car saying that all the problems were not worth fixing. I was not happy hearing that about my car (obviously) but I definitely was very appreciative and happy that he was honest about it. I already knew that my car had a lot of problems. It's very hard to find a trustworthy mechanic in Orlando because it seems that everyone is out to get your money. Two thumbs up for customer service. :) Efficient, friendly, and honest. Also, the shop was very clean and looked great. Only downside was there was no waiting area for those who wanted to wait while their car is getting worked on. read more

I've been going to TK for nearly 10 and have spent thousands. What happen to me today I'm thinking I was being swindled. When replacing a tire with a nail in it and of course it was the sidewall ( I should have asked to see it) the courtesy check revealed to them that my serpentine belt needed to be repaired and the radiator flush. I couldn't do it the same day but made an appointment for the following Monday. Now thank God for a wife that keeps every receipt. Come to find out I had the serpentine belt replaced and radiator flush done within one year. A belt is good for at least 60k and flush wasn't necessary after only one year. I was being swindled and they have the same records I do. Keep your receipts because of this simple fact and also they change managers every 6 months. Also they quoted my daughter $800 for battery for a Fiat but the the manager would knock off $200. NOPE! Sorry TK you have lost my business. read more

Stopped by Tire Kingdom because my breaks were grinding. I spoke to George Chester the store manager who walked me through all of the issues I was having with my car. Tire Kingdom completed all of my break issues and and did a complete check of the vehicle to let me know what I may need to have done in the near future. I explained to George that because my funds were limited that I would need t get the problems resolved incrementally. George said with a big bright smile that Tire Kingdom is more than willing to work with me and offered various methods of payment options. I will never go back to this tire store again. Only because the manager lied, and wanted to sell me an entirely new tire when it was unnecessary! I had been using this Tire Kingdom store since 1996!!! I will never return to this location or any other Tire Kingdom locations!!! Only a few miles away is a Tires Plus store that provided excellent customer service , and fast quality workmanship ! I highly recommend Tires Plus located at 5250 S. Conway Road , Orlando 32812. We originally went to this location because it was the closest to our home. We are so lucky that it was! We have used this Tire Kingdom on multiple occasions and each time we received exceptional customer service. The most recent experience with Tire Kingdom was the most expensive, but also the most rewarding. Each member of the team took time to explain what was happening to the car and worked around our work schedule. And, once we brought the car home and we were still experiencing some minor problems, Brian drove over to our house just so he could wiggle a wire to make everything perfect! read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Took my 08 mustang to get fixed because was having issues with it starting slowly. Was told to do computer diagnostic. 5 hours later they tell me I just had loose connections. Spent $300 in that visit. 3 days later I get stranded as my car died on me. Come to find out it was my alternator. My mom took her car 7/16 because it died on her. Said oil flooded the spark plugs and other areas of the car but $1000 later it was "fixed". Come to today (7/19/19) and it started messing up on her again. During vacation I had the opportunity to dive my wife's car. As it turns out, it was in major need of some TLC. We were about to head up for a long trip and I was in a panic. I was a bit concerned about making reservations for services online and how that would translate to what I needed on the day I dropped off my car, but at the time I was short of solutions. As it turns out, I was quickly welcomed and my car was in for services on time. They even found me a better combination and discounts for everything that needed to be done. I needed two tires to be replaced, alignment, rotation, and an oil change. They had everything they needed in stock and made quick work of the long list of things to be done. They also offer free air checks in the tires at any of their locations nationwide just for stopping in. As it turns out they also had windshield wipers on sale for cheaper than I could have gotten them at the autoparts store and even better, they installed them for free. In all, the work was done quickly and they exceeded my expectations. read more

I woke up with an almost flat tire and needed to get it looked at ASAP. Luckily this Tire Kingdom is close to my house and were very helpful. I initially came in and they were very busy. I was told to come back at 12 and they would take care of me. I showed up a couple of hours later and they took my car right back. Found out there was nothing seriously wrong with my tire. Somehow the valve was bad, and this was causing air to leak out. Tire Kingdom quickly fixed it and told me not to worry about paying for anything because it was such an easy fix. Service was fast, friendly, and extremely helpful. I will be back next time I am in need. read more
