I asked if they add my oil change to Carfax as I bought this 2008 Ford F150xl with 230,000 miles on it. It has always been serviced at a does dealer. They said yes. They do try to push windshield wipers for $20 bucks and I did get a new air filter for $34- but it really needed it. Their oil changes start at $48.00 but I bought a higher mileage oil change for little over 80 dollars. Everyone there was nice. If waz kinda warm and one of the guys went in his office and brought me an ice cold bottled water. That was nice of him to do.

The rest was going as normal until one of the guys opened my passenger door and started fishing through my glove compartment. He didn't say a word to me until I asked what he was looking for. He said "carbon filter". He located it and told me to replace it. I told him to shake it out to which he replied (with a condescending undertone) "it won't help". The interaction wasn't not courteous. Overall, I am not pleased with this location's staff. Once Tyndall Pkwy opens back up I will return going there. Took them almost an hour to find a part ( not OEM). They did knock off $50 for my trouble. Now the bad part beside them not replacing it with OEM. Driving home last night the hose blew off the fuel filter cap. Lucky the junk hose clamp was still on the hose. Had to pull over and put it back on until I got to Auto Zone last night to get the correct clamp. Did I mention it was at night. PS, you have to replace the fuel line assembly not just the connector. They didn't want to make it right and spend the money. Hopefully this review will help someone else.

What should have been a simple service appointment turned into one of the most degrading experiences of my life. I arrived for my 9:00 a.m. service appointment and parked in the handicapped space directly in front of the store. I checked in with Richard, the service took about 30 minutes, and I paid with no issues. But when I got into my car, I froze. Sitting on my passenger seat was a handwritten note telling me not to park in handicapped parking because I'm "not handicapped." That moment is burned into my memory. My hands shook. My heart pounded. I was stunned that anyone--let alone a business entrusted with my vehicle--would violate my private space and judge my disability, something they know nothing about. I immediately went back inside and asked to speak with the manager. Richard claimed the manager "might be out delivering parts" and wasn't answering his phone. I sat in the waiting area for nearly half an hour, feeling exposed and humiliated as other employees stared at me from the service bays. When the manager, Wes, finally arrived, I expected concern and professionalism. Instead, I got condescension: "So you assume one of my employees did this?" and "How do you know it wasn't a customer?" His tone made it clear--he didn't believe me. Only after I pressed did he mention cameras. He also showed me a picture of his African American wife and spoke of his biracial children, making the entire interaction even more uncomfortable and dismissive. Hours later, Wes called from what appeared to be his personal cell phone to tell me I was right--the camera showed his employee AND the employee confessed. But instead of focusing on the harm done, Wes went on about Florida handicap parking laws and his unwarranted phone call to the DMV, completely missing the point: One of his employees invaded my personal property, left a cruel note, and judged me for my disability. I was offered an apology from the employee, but I could not bring myself to return to the place where I had been shamed and violated. Wes later texted that the employee would be suspended without pay, but the damage was already done. I left Pep Boys feeling smaller, angrier, and more humiliated than I have in years. This wasn't just bad service--this was discrimination, harassment, and a violation of my dignity. No customer, disabled or otherwise, should ever have to experience this.

I know because I had mud all over my truck that day and the video they showed had a clean undercarriage of a compact car. He also said they couldn't fix it there, but his buddy had a garage down the street. That's a bit shady. Fast forward to last night. Since I wasn't impressed with their service I had my husband change my oil. The oil filter was cranked on so tight that it ended up breaking to come off and then drained more than half the new oil we put in it. It has cost us 3x the amount it would have cost us to change the oil. Needless to say, we are not returning.

I asked the guy there, can't remember his name, and he was extremely rude to me for simply asking this question. The way he was acting was like I was ruining his day for needing this information about what I can do to repair this problem. He told me that the only thing I can do is just keep replacing the break light, which I know isn't true, he just didn't feel like dealing with it and clearly had better things to do. I did not appreciate this response. I was informed that I had a 1.5 hour wait for the oil change and this prompted me to inform the man that I have indeed changed my mind, and I would like my keys back please. I looked him in the eye and he looked at the wall. He gave me my keys back, and I cursed at him as I walked out the door. I gave them a hand gesture and I went home. I recommend you bring your business elsewhere. On my google review I was provided with a manager number: I called the number they provided, and the guy who calls himself "manager" didn't even know that he should be expecting my call. I asked him what he wanted and he couldn't even tell me. I asked him why was I told to call? He couldn't tell me; I asked him if he was out of his mind and he said I guess so.
