I asked if they add my oil change to Carfax as I bought this 2008 Ford F150xl with 230,000 miles on it. It has always been serviced at a does dealer. They said yes. They do try to push windshield wipers for $20 bucks and I did get a new air filter for $34- but it really needed it. Their oil changes start at $48.00 but I bought a higher mileage oil change for little over 80 dollars. Everyone there was nice. If waz kinda warm and one of the guys went in his office and brought me an ice cold bottled water. That was nice of him to do.

What should have been a simple service appointment turned into one of the most degrading experiences of my life. I arrived for my 9:00 a.m. service appointment and parked in the handicapped space directly in front of the store. I checked in with Richard, the service took about 30 minutes, and I paid with no issues. But when I got into my car, I froze. Sitting on my passenger seat was a handwritten note telling me not to park in handicapped parking because I'm "not handicapped." That moment is burned into my memory. My hands shook. My heart pounded. I was stunned that anyone--let alone a business entrusted with my vehicle--would violate my private space and judge my disability, something they know nothing about. I immediately went back inside and asked to speak with the manager. Richard claimed the manager "might be out delivering parts" and wasn't answering his phone. I sat in the waiting area for nearly half an hour, feeling exposed and humiliated as other employees stared at me from the service bays. When the manager, Wes, finally arrived, I expected concern and professionalism. Instead, I got condescension: "So you assume one of my employees did this?" and "How do you know it wasn't a customer?" His tone made it clear--he didn't believe me. Only after I pressed did he mention cameras. He also showed me a picture of his African American wife and spoke of his biracial children, making the entire interaction even more uncomfortable and dismissive. Hours later, Wes called from what appeared to be his personal cell phone to tell me I was right--the camera showed his employee AND the employee confessed. But instead of focusing on the harm done, Wes went on about Florida handicap parking laws and his unwarranted phone call to the DMV, completely missing the point: One of his employees invaded my personal property, left a cruel note, and judged me for my disability. I was offered an apology from the employee, but I could not bring myself to return to the place where I had been shamed and violated. Wes later texted that the employee would be suspended without pay, but the damage was already done. I left Pep Boys feeling smaller, angrier, and more humiliated than I have in years. This wasn't just bad service--this was discrimination, harassment, and a violation of my dignity. No customer, disabled or otherwise, should ever have to experience this.

He said "carbon filter". He located it and told me to replace it. I told him to shake it out to which he replied (with a condescending undertone) "it won't help". They also were the only shop in the area with a tire that would fit my Nissan Pathfinder. Took them almost an hour to find a part ( not OEM). They did knock off $50 for my trouble. Now the bad part beside them not replacing it with OEM. Driving home last night the hose blew off the fuel filter cap. Lucky the junk hose clamp was still on the hose. Had to pull over and put it back on until I got to Auto Zone last night to get the correct clamp. Did I mention it was at night. PS, you have to replace the fuel line assembly not just the connector. Then you can park to use their towels to dry off your vehicle. The vacuum system was great. You have unlimited time (yes I said unlimited amount of time) to use the vacuum (which had the best suction ever). They also have a mat wash station, a wiper fluid fill station and a tire inflator station. I usually do the manual wash and vacuum that you feed quarters in. The place was very cost efficient. The staff was outstanding...very friendly and helpful. Dani, a young lady there, was the best. Dani was super nice and was not in a hurry to get away from me. Stop listening to the people that come thru car washes to try to scam them into fixing something…read moreand if it doesn't work they run to the internet to give a bad review! Ive used this car wash for a few years since they built it. If you want a car wash to clean dried love bugs off your vehicle it is not going to happen! Nothing other than alot of soaking and scrubbing is going to do this, it is the nature of the game. They do have a a pre wash station that has soap and special non scratching brushes that you can utilize before going thru. They also presoak several areas of the vehicle prior to going thru the wash. The employees are always nice and check on your when you are cleaning out your car to see if you need anything. Always plenty of towels, glass cleaner, air compressor to fill your tires, window washing fluid all included. You are not going to find a nicer run car wash, and I have been to alot of them.
