Went in for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation. After checking my tires they told me at first the tires were too old to rotate. I told them the truck was purchased new and they're not even five years old. Then they told me the tires were almost bald. (I could not believe what they said) They said they couldn't rotate them because if I had a blowout I could sue them. Today I went to Sam's Club to have my tires checked for ware. They used a tire gauge to measure the tread depth. The lowest reading on their gauge was number six. They told me I had plenty life left on them. WOW...my mother and I are in absolute disbelief and complete disgust over the way we were treated today. Expect blatant sexism, poor attitudes & an absence of work ethic. Regretfully, did not get mcfatty 1 or 2's name, we left in such a hurry because again WOW. Throughout the entire interaction both of the men working failed to even make eye contact and acknowledge me. They completely disregarded me. Immediately upon entering we are greeted with a very crude, ignorant remark about it being the afternoon not morning. Get a new line. He continues to make pompous remarks about how he'll fix it no problem...LMFAOOO. He failed to put my phone number in TWICE. He joked that it should only take 30 min but it's going to be an hour. So my mother and I walked down the road to sit for an hour. After giving them an hour+ to get the oh so very simple task done, we come back to being told "there's no nail in your tires, what tire is it cause we couldn't find one." WOW... now mcfatty 1 is bullshitting mcfatty 2 about how he couldn't contact me bc the number wasn't in the system....he stated that he asked us if we had put air in the tire prior & that we said no. Straight up COWARDLY LIE!!! SO UNBELIEVABLY INCOMPETENT!!! NO ACCOUNTABILITY!! NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT!!! LAZY!!! ON TOP OF ALL THIS, THEY PARKED THE CAR PERFECTLY TO WHERE THE NAIL WAS CLEARLY EXPOSED!!! They had the audacity to make it seem like my mother and I were crazy. A younger gentleman was outside & was the only one with manners. He made sure I had enough air in my tire to go somewhere else. Absolutely do not trust them. they had an hour to find the nail...we left and went to Mavis in Lecanto. They are amazing there, never ever been disappointed!! My last note is maybe 2 years ago, my father and I came here and left frustrated then too. I will be sure to let every single person I meet know to never ever come here. They called and told me that my alignment was almost done but that I needed to replace my shocks. I had my wife tell them no. When I picked it up I told a manager what had happened. Bought 4 new tires & had mounted with balancing done at Crystal River FL location. I drove home& 2 days later was on my way to airport to pick up my grandson for summer visit. As soon,as I got over 50 mph my car started shaking & making noises. I drove back to tire shop. Was told they didn't have staff to look at& was directed to Mavis in Homosassa FL. They discovered that 7 of my studs were broken due to over tightening! They fixed what they had in stock. Couple days later 4 more broke. Went to Melbourne location& they fixed. Couple days later woke up to flat tire. Called AAA ,put air in& drove back to tire shop. They replaced valve. So in buying new tires& had so many problems which resulted in regional manager calling me& blaming it on ' new mngmt' from Mavis tires. I have received no compensation for my troubles& wasted time. Avoid tire kingdom at all costs! Yesterday, I spent a lot of money to be incredibly disappointed. I always do my own work or have mechanic friends help me do it, but sadly, tires and alignments aren't something you can do at home. Four brand new tires on new rims that I paid someone to paint... And they messed them up and scratched them up! They offered to pay for me to have them redone using a company of their choice, fine. That's solved, sort of. It's going to be really inconvenient, but at least it will be fixed. I get home and realize more is wrong. The one tire was put on wrong. See the pictures where it says "outside" and "inside" on the tire. Another wheel was missing weights. A shop rag was left in my engine bay. Are you trying to start a fire? My alignment was completely off. Went back as soon as my new radiator was in and fully functional (couldn't imagine letting them do that) and had these issues corrected. The manager even said the car should've never left the shop like that. Especially with the tire not being on correctly. How do you mess up THAT bad? I will never use them again and strongly advise you to do the same. There's a reason I don't trust anyone with my car, and this did nothing more than secure that. read more

Brought in a tire to have patched as it had one puncture hole in it. Tire was new with less than 300 miles on it and the puncture was in the middle of the tire. Completely patchable. Was told when I went to pick it up that the tire was non repairable but they had some new tire options for me. I asked if they sold the exact same tire and they did not. I took the tire to the dealer where I had purchased it. They were perplexed as to why Tire Kingdom rendered the tire non-repairable. The dealership patched the tire and sent me on my way cost free. I guess I looked like an easy mark dressed in business clothes to include a tie. You underestimated me as one of my jobs includes the oversight of more than 400 Fleet vehicles. What a joke of a place. I'm a single mom with my second blow out of the day on our RV. Had 2 young kids with me along with 3 dogs and a ferret. I loaded everyone up in our vehicle that was towing the RV and I called this place. All I asked was to have the tire mounted on the rim I would provide... a 6 minute job. The rude guy that answered the phone "the service manager" said it would be 2-3 hours. Now I understand lines but c'mon! No customer in their right mind would be bothered to let me take up 6 minutes get the tire mounted with all of these crazy events. I even told the service manager I would ask the waiting clients. He told me no and that 2-3 hours is the best he would do. Then proceeded to lecture me about waiting. As a waiting customer I would absolutely understand someone who needed the 6 minutes and would gladly let them in front of me. As a businessman I would gladly help someone who was in desperate need, especially if it was only a 6 min job. I will never...ever go here again and I hope their business fails miserably read more

Drove to Tire Kingdom today to have larger tires put on my lifted F150, nothing radical, just going from 235/70r16s to 265/75r16s. Guy at the counter says 235's are the "correct" size tire. I explain that I had the truck lifted and he says that doesn't really make a difference. Then he proceeds to tell me with a straight face that going to 265's will make my shocks bottom out (?) and hit other suspension components. I then explain that my friends stock (same year) F150 has 265's and they fit. He then proceeds to walk me out to my truck where he shows me on the door sticker that the 235's are the biggest tire I can safely use. Seriously, where do they get these people? The tires on my truck and my camper had aged out so I contacted dealers in the area for tire prices. When I contacted Tire Kingdom in Crystal River they were quite helpful over the phone and I was able to schedule an appointment easily. I went for my appointment this morning and was greeted by Jamie who got me all checked in and got me hooked up with Bill the tire mechanic. I had one request before they started I wanted to check the dates on the tires to see when they were manufactured. This was important to me because my tires seem to age out before they wear out. They did not have a problem with this. Bill then said about to get my tires installed on my truck in my camper and I was out on my way home within two hours. My new truck tires ride great and a very quiet. I bought the Cooper Endevour tires for my truck & Road King tires for my camper. Took about 3 hours- not so bad. Came back for my free alignment since I was required to purchase 12 months free alignment to get tire price, 3 HOURS. They took the same amount of time to do a small portion as the whole deal. Again, required to purchase roadside hazard from Manufacturer. Ran over a piece of metal 2 weeks ago and called the same day to get it replaced. 2 weeks later no one know where my tire is or when it will get here. TERRIBLE customer service. read more

I made an appointment on the internet yet after waiting over 75 minutes I cut my loses, asked for my keys and left. I was told that the internet appointments don't sync with the system in the store yet when I walked in my name was listed on a flat screen TV for the time I had scheduled. I came here to get tires on my car. My car had a hole in the tire. I told the store manager, who was helping me, I needed a tire on the rim that I brought in. By spec it had the wrong size, I did not know, told him the vehicle that it was on and paid to have the tire done. I returned a few weeks later to replace the rest of the tires and afterwards I proceeded to drive. As I left I heard scrapping and hard rubbing. When I made it home I seen that the wheel well/fender was bend out and had taken chunks of the tire out that I had just paid for. When I called them to let them know and to see why it's doing this, thinking the worst, they said they would have to look at my car. When I took my car up to be looked at the store manager came out to check the tires he opened the door and then the size of the tire told me that I had the wrong size on the car. I asked him why didn't anyone tell me that I had the wrong size on my car? He said "I don't know but you asked for that size so that's what I sold you." I told him that I just bought this car and these were the size that were on it so I just went off that. Which with him interrupting me it took me 4 or 5 times to say it. Then he preceded to get in my face yelling at me and being very nasty to me. My disabled mother said to get out of my face then he preceded to get in her face and yell at her cursing at her, a disabled woman, in her face screaming and yelling at her telling her that she doesn't know anything about cars which my mom said that's right that's why we came here. The whole time she was just trying to show the store manager the fender was taking chunks out of the tire. Worst experience ever!!! The only person thing that was helpful was the service manager Jamie, he was nice and actually took the time to listen and defuse the situation. Highly suggest NOT doing business with Tire Kingdom of Crystal River, FL. I had two front tires replaced. In the process, they damaged BOTH of my rims on my vehicle (a Lexus IS250). Rather than taking responsibility for this mistake, the employees including manager attempted to blame this on previous damage. My interactions w/ the staff have been rude and condescending in nature. Do not do business w/ this TIre Kingdom location, particularly if you are looking for service for a luxury vehicle. i own a local 5 star automotive business in citrus county. we dont do alignments and tires. i brought a customers car here for alignment because the local tire place i use was too busy. my customer drop the car off and got a call shortly after. the manager told them it needed a left side ball joint - tie rod and they couldn't do the alignment till it was fixed . keep in mind i been a master ase mechanic for 30 plus years. i went to the store so they can show me the bad parts. this vehicle was checked before for estimate ,checked before parts were replaced and rechecked before going to alignment. the 19 year old kid jacked the car up by the control arm instead of the body. i told him he did it wrong and then told me i dont know what im doing - he went to school for it ? the parts had no play what so ever i told the manager. he argued - yelling at me and my customer in front of his customers. i told him i owned a repair shop then he got really rude and mean to us ! i asked him why he is selling parts to customers , that didn't need any repairs. he then told me take the car and go somewhere else and they dont need our money or business. we where pretty much pushed out the door while he was making a scene in front of everyone. i went to the tire place across the street and had them do the alignment. i got a call next morning from them stating nothing is wrong with the suspension and steering. everything is tight and alignment is perfect. please read the reviews on tire king in crystal river. alot of complaints of upselling parts not needed and price changes from estimates. dont take your vehicles here they will rip you off every time. the store manager is a load mouth bully with no respect for his customer's or employee's. he was bitching and yelling at his employees in front of us and his customer's. this manager needs to be fired and go to anger management classes. i will be contacting motor vehicle dept. and the better business bureau. stay away from tire kingdom and go to the guys across the street. at least they are honest and polite, you wont get robbed either. stay far far far away from this place if you know whats good for you ! read more
