Being coming here for years. I rotate between summer and winter tires. After setting up a clear appointment of what I need done. Once arrived and waiting in line, we were told it's against policy to put used tires on a car. They never once have told us this in the past 6 times we have had it done. when I had the tires put on, I let them do the alignment and oil change the drain plug for the oil pan wasn't tightened leaking oil on my driveway and upon further inspection, they had left the cap to my coolant reservoir, which is pressurized off and just in the engine bay. fast forward a few months and I needed my tire repaired from something that I had run over. I showed up and was told they couldn't get to me right then to come back between 12 and one and they would get me taken care of. I returned at one and they tell me that I couldn't be seen until 6 PM. Needless to say I won't be using this be telling my friends and family the same. read more

I waited a couple of days after I wrote this review and called back about my deposit being refunded, and asked to speak to a manager about it. The person who answered the phone told me that he was already informed and that it would take a week to refund. I emailed the tire discounters support as they requested in their reply and received a call back from the manager, stating that the deposit was refunded and offered that he could get the Pirellis from a different warehouse, which i declined as I had already ordered a set of Pirellis from tirerack and had them mounted. The manager was very polite, and I had no issues with the interaction with him. I however, am not confident that I would have received my refund in any timely form if I had not sent this review to the support mailbox. read more

I called Thursday, day of the appointment to confirm and they said their online system was broken so they didn't have it. I made an appointment on the phone for Saturday at 8:30. I have purchased 3 sets of tires from Tire Discounters in Ooltewah but that will be my last. Two weeks ago I found a screw in my RR tire on my gladiator in which I purchased the tire from here. I stopped in an made an appointment to get it repaired and the tire rotated. I went for my appointment and was told they were too busy to do the job so I rescheduled for this past Monday. When I showed up to my appointment I was told they only had one tire man so I rescheduled for yesterday when they opened at 8 am. I arrived when they opened at 8 and was 3rd in line. I had confirmed with the manager that I had the appointment and it was for tire repair and rotation. At 9 am he pulled my truck in front of one of the bay doors and had my tire removed and supposedly repaired. Then he drove my truck to the front of the store and told me i was ready to go. I asked him if they were going to rotate my tires and he informed me it wasn't on my ticket. About that time the manager came in and told my it wasn't in the computer for the rotation. I informed the 2 of them that it was bad customer service in which they responded they would pull in and rotate them. I declined because I had been misled after 3 appointments and they still had not done the work. I will not give them my money for tires any longer since they don't provide service after the sale. After they get your money they put you on the back burner for service. Bad management and business practices. read more

My low tire pressure indicator was on for a week so I stopped in on a busy Friday morning to have it checked out. Greg and Aries at the Western Hills location extremelly professional and kind! I was running errands one day when my dash indicator light came on showing my rear tire with only 21 lbs of pressure?? I was next to tire discounters so I pulled in and asked them to help. Since I did not have an appointment, I knew I would have to wait - that was okay. The front desk clerk, who was very nice, came out to check my tire and sure enough we both could hear air escaping. I do not live very far from them so my husband came to pick me up while they fixed my tire. About an hour later tire discounters called , tire fixed and No Charge !!! Have bought the last 8 Michelins from Tire Discounters, and all of my oil changes on all my cars are done there and only once was I disappointed. Jeff ordered my tires and they came in very quickly. When I made an appointment they pulled me right in. It did not take very long. They also noticed I needed an oil change. So I got that too. Jeff was very professional and I was extremely happy. I love my Michelin. Tires. They printed out a rebate form for my Michelin's and beciase I used tire discounters cc I get another 50$. TD representative : my described encounter at your facility may not "sound" like the way TD typically does business, but at this location, it is. Furthermore, I find your dismissal of events that day offensive and disturbing. Moreover, transparency is the best policy when dealing with less than stellar customer service businesses. It allows other potential customers access to needed information when deciding where to spend their coins. So, this venue is my only preferred method of communication with you. read more

The last time we went to Tire Discounters was the new location on Lee Hwy, close to Sportsman's Warehouse. We had a truly pleasant experience there and thought it was all in all great. So we were excited when we discovered that Tire Discounter was opening up in Ooltewah, next to Publix. So Saturday, we get to the location and drop off our jeep at 10:30 that morning. There were maybe three cars ahead of us, which was fine with us. We brought another vehicle to use while we waited. The woman inside who took the work order I wouldn't necessarily consider overly friendly. She stated that because our tires (35") were large, we were going to be charged $20 for an oversize tire fee. My husband agreed to it, although he commented later to me how the other Tire Discounter shop did not have an issue with our tires and we weren't charged the oversize fee. Our request was to have the tires rotated and balanced, and then to get an alignment. So we left it in their care, hoping to hear back from them within the hour or two. We ended up going out to eat for lunch, going to the mall, walking through some stores, going to the home improvement store, headed to Walmart and finally drove back over to the Publix area, wondering if they had forgotten to call us. At this point, it is after 2 and our jeep is no where in sight. We notice that it is inside one of the bays. So, we go into Publix to do a little bit of shopping while we wait. Finally, we drive back by and see that the jeep is out front. The cost for our trip that day is $94.83 and it does NOT include the alignment that was requested at the initial set up. If that was the case, then why on earth would it take THREE hours to do a rotate and balance??? Needless to say, when we drove home and realize after the fact that the alignment was not done, we both agreed that going to the Ooltewah location is not an option. We will return to the Tire Discounters on Lee Hwy where a rotate and balance, with alignment cost $100.74 without a tire oversize fee. Plus, their staff seemed truly happy to serve us. Let's just say, we were left with a positive experience at that location. Very disappointed in this location. read more

Ok, I really want to review these guys higher, because they're super nice and have a clean, convenient location. However I must be honest... the experience could have been better. First, the good: - Their pricing is competitive with no major surprises in the out-the-door cost. - Their location is clean with a comfortable waiting room and wifi available. However, here are the issues: - I had to bring the car back the next week to have them re-balance the tires because they didn't get it right the first time. - Their "free" alignment only included a toe adjustment. Full alignment required the purchase of new "cam bolts". Whether these were really needed, I'm not sure, but they charged a significant markup for them as part of completing the alignment. - I purchased a replacement TPMS (tire pressure monitor) sensor along with the tires, however the warning light came back on after the first visit. They "fixed" it again on the second visit, and assured me that it was really fixed, but now the light is back on. At this point, I'm debating whether kill part of my Saturday taking it back to get the TPMS looked at. I may just cut my loss and go somewhere else. read more

I have used this location on multiple occasions. Clean facility. A place for my kids to hang out while we wait. Professional staff. They tell me what's wrong w my car. What needed fixing then and what will need to be fixed soon. Never felt any pressure. Also, there is a Publix in the same parking lot. I typically get my grocery shopping done while they work on my vehicle. PLUS the last time I went Todd was nice enough to return the grocery cart back to Publix for me. Thank you Todd. read more

My front driver side window was shattered. I am a sales rep and needed a repair as quickly as possible realizing it might be a few days. I called the first and second largest repair companies that popped up under my google search. The first one told me 10 days to repair and at a pretty high price I felt. The second company told me they didn't have my glass in stock and asked me to call back next week stating maybe they will have it. I found the Tire Discounters ad for glass repair so I thought why not nothing to lose at this point! Not only did they get the glass for my unit and repair the same day they told me they could meet me in a public parking lot to repair since I was on the road that day for my job. We met and it took them just 35 minutes to replace and at almost half the price of the national brand name company. I was shocked and happy. The agent on the phone, Alex, was awesome and the 2 techs that made the repair were professional and quick. I highly recommend this company for the value, service, and the great commitment it seems they have to service each customer to their satisfaction. I hope I never have a glass issue again but if I do I'm returning to Tire Discounters. read more

Had a tire repair here today. Great experience. The staff was nice and extremely helpful. They were very friendly making for a great experience. The tire was repaired quickly and placed back onto my car. They put back the spare and everything else. Very reasonable prices and super quick service. Recently took in our Patriot for a front end alignment. Shop checked alignment and found no issues. Rotated tires, which has resolved the pull to the right. Janet was very thorough explaining what they performed and suspected there might be a tire issue. These are factory tires and have a bit more trend. She recommended changing down the road. No charge for checking alignment or rotating the tires. Wow! I will be back when I need new tires. read more

I waited a little over two hours for an oil change, but I wasn't terribly upset about that as I'm certain they were busy with other customers. My biggest disappointment was the fact they never seem to have the tires you need in stock. As far as I know, Michelin tires are still pretty popular and they can't seem to keep those in stock. I ended up going down the street to get a set of Michelin tires for my daughters car at a service station and was in and out in an hour. I do like using Tire Discounters as they have treated me well in the past. read more
