I had a tire with a slow leak. They told me that I would have to come back Saturday morning when they first opened or make an appointment which would be Monday or Tuesday of the following week. I did not feel like waiting, so I headed towards Montgomery, wards and found a Tire Discount store on Alexandria Highway. I pulled in and a half an hour later I was out with the tire fixed. They were extremely pleasant and did an outstanding job. Purchased new tire August 2025, March 26 2 tires worn. Only 2000 miles on the tires. My son put the worn tires from rear to front. Took it back and explained and had realigned. they won't make good on tge worn tires. Now found another 2600. in repairs needed. Disappointing!!. Be careful with their quality And value! read more

In all honesty, the business isn't so bad, considering that it is a franchise chain of reasonably fair prices, however, dealing with the general manager Ari, is something I directly warn against. This is a man who can look a woman in the face who is 82 years old and charge her for four hours of unworked labor, knowing that tire discounters has the ability to increase price so long as they have your car in their possession why is it unreasonable to ask them to decrease the price in accordance with labor hours quoted that are not worked it doesn't exactly make sense and what furthermore does not make sense on an intellectual level, and the concept of frustration when vented to the general manager Ari, it is received with absolute disgust and denial of all reasonability. In fact in the frustration of explaining to him how I tracked the hours and that there was a lacking of four hours and what was quoted to be 10 hours of work. He became resentful and told me that he was done with the conversation and told me that if I was not done, we could be even more done at which point my aggravation obviously became much more due to the fact that I did not know what kind of threat this man was implicating towards me. Was he threatening that his insignificant collateral comparison was enough to keep my property from me? Was he insinuating that he was willing to get physical with me? I don't quite know, but when my voice raised a couple of octaves in frustration to this statement, he called the police on me. Why is it really such an important thing to protect the feelings of weak men such as this that we throw out the morals of basic conduct and what is good in the world and what is right and what is fair the capability of a man to stand across from an elderly woman who is obviously on a fixed income to charge her for unnecessary work, and an egregious amount is absolutely incomprehensible to a man of my stature. I don't understand it in fact, I cannot even recognize that as the conduct of a man, it seems very weasel like it seems very cowardly. It seems very small and it seems very short. It seems like there's a lot of inadequacy inside of a man that has this ability. We call robbery a robbery, whether it would be white-collar crime like through tax evasion or through embezzlement it is still robbery, the same as a man who stands across from an old lady who is 80 years old on a fixed income and steals from her $400 with a gun, there is no difference. Do you think that the willingness to pay was actually present in that moment, knowing that she was being robbed? Not likely. But Ari obviously lacks the capacity for human decency in consideration as so many small men do. So please, utilize tire discounters, and they're awesome services at their unbelievable prices with the incredible team that is built within the store, especially in this time of inflation and growth of pricing, but just remember to remind Ari that he is a crook and a punk, because you are 100% paying for much more than you were ever even supposed to. read more

Everything was great, up until the point when an employee (front office) carried the tire out to my daughter's car, placed it into her trunk, and walked away. In my prolonged discussions with the assistant manager that morning, it was clear that the tire would be installed on the car after the new tire was mounted on the wheel/rim. It was agreed that my daughter would return later in the afternoon when the tire was ready. Luckily, I was still with my daughter when we checked the tire's availability. If I had not been there, my daughter very likely would have driven off with the tire in her trunk. I am a lifelong Tire Discounter customer, but this is my second experience with this particular location--we used it because of its proximity to my daughter's residence/school. Came in Monday for a tire fix, because the back driver side vehicle was losing air. Ari said it could stay with them or I could make an appointment and they'd get me in and out. I was able to make an appointment for Wednesday and come in at noon. They got right to work and I went across the street to Kroger for some shopping. I got back and they had the car ready for me soon after. In and out in about 45 minutes, and it was pretty cheap! Very satisfied with the visit, and glad they could get me in so quick since I had a trip this weekend. read more

Dealt with the nicest young man, who assured me my brakes were in excellent shape, all fluids were good, and rotated my tires for free. I used to go to a garage where they would find a major problem anytime I took my car in for routine maintenance, so I appreciate the honesty here. And I was in and out in 1 hour flat. Yes, you read that right, 1 HOUR FLAT. Only $66, and I'm rolling down the road looking for my next adventure, knowing all is well with my Jeep! That's priceless. read more

Almost messed up my car and cause more issues long term. Always told not to swap radial tires from passenger to driver side and vice versa. But criss crossed and swapped all my tires and tried to lie about it....you swapped my tires front to back then swapped from driver to passenger. Like my tires have sensors inside them and it's linked to my dash lets me know which tires sensor is linked to what tire. If you did it by mistake own up and fix the issue not try and charge me again for something you f'd up. Will never come here again and only go to a more reputable business. Waste of time and money, when obviously they employ mechanics who have no clue what they're doing. My dealership caught it right away after I told them my car is shaking when stopping yet yall can't figure out the issue you caused. Yall look like total idiots. Even caught it on the dash cam. I stopped into the Red Bank Road location in Cincinnati to have a tire repaired. While I was waiting, I heard two gentlemen working at the counter talking with an older lady about her car troubles. They were both very patient as the lady went on and on about every unnecessary detail concerning her ordeal. It was Friday afternoon and the store was very busy yet they listened to her as they made arrangements for an Uber so she could leave her car overnight. I wish I knew their names. I recently got 4 new tires here. The person doing the work thought I was in for an oil change and drained the oil by mistake. They ended up throwing in a free oil change since it was there mistake. I will try my best to give an honest an fair review of my experience here. I came to this tire discounters location in order to fix a tire that had been troublesome. When I came in I was met with great customer service and thought that I would have a great experience. The manager informed me that I needed to replace three of my four tires. I came in expecting to only fix one so at the time I didn't have the money to fix all three. I told him that I can fix two of the three and to let me know which two were of the most important to be replaced. When I pulled off from the lot I noticed that the same tire that I came in for was reading at the exact same pressure level. I read online that sometimes it can take up to a couple of days for the sensor to read the tire that has been replaced so I figured that was the issue. Soon after I received a call from tire discounters stating that they rang me out for the wrong order. They informed me that I needed to return back in order to pay the remaining balance of the bill which they incorrectly charged me before. I informed him that I would have to come back at a later date due to my schedule. The more I drove the car the more I realized that the tire was still reading at the exact same pressure level and seemed to have not been replaced at all. I came back in to discuss the issue, pay the balance and figure out if they may have accidentally replaced the wrong tire. The manager spoke to me in a extremely condescending way and at one point said to me "well I don't know what to tell you have a literally explained it to you three times". I have never felt so belittled by a manager. It literally caused me to burst into tears. His aggressive tone and care less attitude made me feel like he was accusing me of "trying to get over" when all I was doing was seeking clarification. At this point I have no idea whether they even changed the tire. He tried to back-step by offering to take care of the remaining balance but at that point I didn't even want that to happen. I tried several times to pay for the remaining balance and he continued to try to coerce me into allowing him to take care of it which felt more like some sort of pity charity than genuine, apologetic concern. Reading another review has shown me that maybe they don't understand how it is to deal with young women and how it can seem as if they are trying to take it advantage of the customer. I would hope that moving forward they work on their customer service skills and also train their employees better make sure that they aren't incorrectly charging them for other customers bills. 750$ for 4 tires. I made an appointment a day ahead of time. The 1.5-2 hour quoted wait time ended up being 3.5+ hours. As I moved on from this, understanding they are busy, I was underwhelmed with the end result. Rims (that I cleaned inside and out that morning with a microfiber cloth) were grease covered. My Brand new tires all had white residue of some sort and a bright neon Orange dot on each of them even after commenting and asking about this and getting a "second? Cleaning" Just saying ...for that sort of money I should feel great about my purchase and look at glossy perfect tires. read more

Don't come here if you have to work apparently! first person I spoke to was extreme nice. However after receiving no help trying to resolve the leak in my tire, the man I tried to make an appointment with afterwards was extremely condescending and questioning why I couldn't leave my vehicle overnight. Shady business practices, incompetent service. Wow! Is it that bad? you ask. Answer: it's that bad. Apparently, spending $1200 on 4 tires wasn't enough money to garner even good enough customer service. A few days after the tire purchase, the tire pressure sensor light went on on the back driver's side tire. I returned to the store with an 8:30 appointment time to have this fixed and a little after 9, they got to my car. "Why have appointment times if they're relatively meaningless," I thought to myself. But okay, they're going to fix it. About 2 hours later, they said they had to replace the sensor and it'd be $70. Okay. I didn't ask why that would be so on a tire you just installed a few days ago. But okay. I drive about 5 blocks, and noticed that the sensor light was still on. Strange. I return to the store They have it for another hour and then tell me that they "didn't put the code in right." Okay. Drive away. Sensor light is still on. Return. This time they had it for 2 hours, only to tell me, "we give up. We can't fix it. You'll have to take it to the dealer." Okay.... I asked for a refund of course. "Your refund will take 2 weeks to show up in your bank account." Why? "That's just how we do it." But I just paid you $70? "That's just the way we do it." Okay...I took it to the dealer, who fixed it. The guy at the dealer said as he handed me the sensor that Tire Discounters installed, "You need to ask for a refund from those guys. This sensor is totally incompatible with your car." Okay. Tire Discounters said it would take 2 weeks for my refund, so I waited 2 weeks and went back in. ""Not sure why it hasn't processed yet. Be patient. It'll show up. Call me when it comes in to let me know." Wait I have to call you? What kind of system is this? Another week. Nothing. Now a month later I go in. "Not sure what the problem is. I can't do anything about it." Well I sure wish I had known that you would install an incompatible part on my car, take my money, and keep it for a month, with still no refund in sight. I might've made a different choice. By the way, not an "I'm so sorry. Let me call and find out what's going on.I know that you just spent $1200 on a new set of tires, then we couldn't fix the problem that we likely created in the first place." Nope. None of that. "Hey call me when it comes in so I can put a line through my paper and pencil system of tracking refunds." Moral of the story: You get what you pay for. Cheaper is rarely better, and in this Tire Disocounter store's case, it was pretty much a cluster ____ all the way around. read more

Went in because I was concerned about brakes. They proceed to try to sell me on new brakes, tires and potentially a suspension. Offer to set me up with a credit card to help make it happen that day. I elect to take the car to my regular mechanic (who I trust) two days later for a second opinion. Regular mechanic tells me Tire Discounters was trying to change rotars that were more than 60% whole still (tech at TD said they were so low if I had them machined they'd be pretty much gone). As near as I can tell, I almost got hustled. Don't go here. Update: I just got the rear pads replaced last month. The front is still fine. I am now even more confident this was not a mistake but an attempt to sell me something I didn't need. read more

I wanted to share an update regarding my previous 1 star review. Since my service at the Five Mile store in Anderson, I was contacted by Tire Discounters. They wanted to know what they could have done better. Ideally, I would not have had to pay $500 to have my wiper motor replaced and still have to take it to the dealership for the wiper to actually work. I gave them the invoices for taking it to be fixed for $250 at a dealership. They were able to refund me half, not all, of the $500 spent replacing my wiper motor at Tire Discounters. Their reasoning is that they replaced the wiper motor but may have stripped the motor when tightening it. So the motor was the right fix but they didn't execute it well. I can understand the reasoning but it still isn't perfect. I do appreciate that they tried to make it right. read more

Avoid this location at all cost! I came in for a tire repair, which took hours longer than it should, went to drive away and had no brakes. The gentlemen who jacked up the car to get the tire off apparently had no common sense and didn't understand how to avoid the brake line. When I confronted the store manager he told me "don't worry about arguing that we did it because you won't win!". I literally sat in their lobby and cried until I could get AAA to pick me and my car up so I could go somewhere else to get my brake line repaired, which was not at all cheap. It is absolutely disgusting how I was treated. This location, and possibly others, really knows how to take advantage of young girls who they think they could make some money off of. Please avoid! If this store has poor enough ethics that they could let it slide once you bet they will try to do it again! read more

I called the Northbend Road location in Cincinnati on a Thursday and acquired and appointment for Saturday at 12. I arrived 15 minutes early to have 4 new wheels put on and arranged for my wife to pick up the vehicle at the end of day. She returned at 4:00 to find out that the vehicle wasn't even touched. After a brief and irritating conversation, she was offered to have the vehicle picked up and 50% off the installation. The appointment was on my own time and my entire Saturday was planned around the appointment. I work several miles from the store and having them pick it up and or me deliver it again was completely out of the question. I left a bad review on their site. I was called by Jerome the manager who talked at me and told me what he was not going to do and that their policies were not inline with my requests that I had written. He never let me talk through his whole description of what he was not going to do for me. He actually hung up on me!!!!! I was then called the following Saturday by a tier 2 customer relations associate who let me talk, he listened well but could only apologize and not make things right. He then told me to come to his store to be treated better (Fields Ertel). This told me that each store may have different customer relations standards. In any event, I will never and my family will never ever do business with this organization. This company was founded by a great man but his employees at this particular store are not so great. Tire Discounters almost ruined our recent trip to Florida. We decided to drive since we were stopping to see some friends along the way. I went in to get a full inspection just to make sure everything was A-OK. I asked to re-charge the AC, and make sure all of my tires were in good condition. Simple enough. Got the AC charged it was $150 dollars just for that. WHAT? When I asked why it was so high he said the labor cost was about 75% of that. Holy bejesus! But really, I have no idea what that costs compares to at other places that is not why I am giving two stars. I asked the manager himself to make sure the tires were OK. Willing to buy a whole new set of tires then and there he tells me. "Actually these three are in good shape, just the rear one might need replaced for a long roadtrip." Ok cool. Fine. I go to a used tire place since it's just one, get a tire. We are all set to go. My boyfriend comes home from work to see that my other tire in the rear NOT THE ONE he said, was also almost completely flat and in bad shape. So I'm wondering did he tell me the wrong tire or were both bad? If two were bad, I would've went ahead and replaced them all and been done with it instead of spending money on a used tire. Because we all know buying more than one tire there is usually a discount and you want them all to be of even quality. Flamming pissed, I send my boyfriend back up to Tire Discounters moments before leaving for Florida. Explaining that he didn't properly check the tires, and that we would've purchased a whole set before and now we need another tire that will basically throw the entire balance of the car out of whack, but we have to have it. The manager explains that he made a mistake and yes, that both tires were in bad shape. Ok, tiny rant -- so you are a tire place? And you can't even check tires? Isn't that the main thing you do? I get it, people make mistakes, but this was a safety concern and I put my trust in your company. The only reason for the two stars is the fact that we did get a small discount on the new tire, but at the inconvenience it cost us, that really did nothing. Also since my AC got recharged it absolutely REEKS in my car. I will unfortunately now be making yet another trip to see you guys. In the end, the job got done and my car has a good set of tires, and that should be what really matters right? Well, sort of. Customer experience is a vital element in the pursuit of obtaining a customer for life. It is not too difficult to calculate the lifetime value of a customer and I would think that a huge chain like Tire Discounters might have figured that out. My personal experience was not good, and I can't really say if I would ever go back, let alone make Tire Discounters my go-to tire destination. I called ahead and made an appointment, thinking that it would help get me in and out as quickly as possible, and was told that It would be an hour and half to two hours. Long story short, I proceeded to wait over 4 hours for no real reason besides being busy. Maybe I was naive for believing them and should accept partial responsibility for not preparing better for this inevitability (I wont), but in the end they are responsible for the business they take in and how promptly and reliably they deliver on their services. Though the guys working the front desks were nice and relatively apologetic, I am very disappointed in my experience and have no reason to recommend them to anyone. read more

I've been to this store twice. The first time seemed to go OK. I had checked with several tire stores and Tire Discounters had the best combination of price and guarantee on tires. I put front tires on my work van. Second visit I put on rear tires. There were a couple of minor things to take care of as well, so I asked them for an oil change and to replace a broken muffler hanger. They didn't have a price available for the muffler hanger, but said they would call with it. That call didn't come. They installed it and tried to charge $90. I refused to pay that price and asked them to take it off. They eventually let me have it free rather than uninstall, which seemed like the right thing to do, but a month later I found out it had been improperly installed, leading to a break in the exhaust system and a complete replacement. After 30,000 miles, my front tires were nearly bald. I asked for replacements, expecting a pro-rated price. They offered me a 10% discount on supposedly better tires. But they supposedly gave a 10% discount when I bought them in the first place. I am done with this retailer and will never use them again. read more
