I have used this location several times for repairs but this time I came for a full set of tires. My wife's car came with very low quality Goodyear tires and after suffering with them for 2 years we decided it was time to replace them. I had searched online before coming and had my choices down to 2-3 tires. After meeting with Freddy and asking him for suggestions he recommended 2 of the tires I was looking at. I ended up picking the Pirelli Scorpion AS 3 for the Toyota Highlander. The tires look and feel great. The check the alignment and corrected it and installed the tires. The SUV feels like a different vehicle. now. The wet traction is very good and it's super quiet and smooth. They balanced them perfectly. I feel good knowing that Freddy, Chris and the others here will take good care of me for a long time with these new Pirellis. Great job !! read more

They want to argue about the torque of my tires. I had a flat tire and he to bring to them. They had rotated them previously. My pop and I had to stand and jump on lug wrench to finally loosen it Imagine my wife trying to remove it. I told them and remind them every time about it. They argue. They are sanctimonious blowhards. I know a little. I'm no tire expert, but I'm no dummy. Just realize and confess you messed up. Jeez. read more

I got a flat on I-75 just outside Dalton last evening. Called Chris early this morning. I was running Continental run flat tires and no one in town(called six places) could get me a replacement tire before 1-2 days (255/35 R18) in run flat tires. Chris got me a new Bridgestone that afternoon. Out the door price below his competitor who was only offering a non run flat tire! Service was fast, courteous, and friendly. Chris loves to joke and it helps when you are stressed. I was on my way 40 minutes after he got the tire and he got it when promised. Highly recommend this shop, especially as a traveler in an unfamiliar town. read more

I took my vehicle to them because I needed front brakes and rotors and also had a strange noise coming from the FRONT of the vehicle. I asked them to check the FRONT area. I had an appointment for 8 am. Five hours later they finally start checking my car. They called me and told me it was going to cost $876 dollars. They had me terrified of the car. They said the front brakes, rotors, and calipers on both sides were shot to a non-drive-able condition. They also stated that the drums on the back needed to be desperately changed. They refused to do the front without the back. I went to pick my car up because I could not afford this. Later at work, I was advised by no less than 5 people that this was extremely expensive even for what they were going to fix. I went to someone else and had it checked. Turns out, there was nothing wrong with the caliper on the front right and nothing wrong with the drums on the back. It cost me about $250 to get it fixed, and this was doing the entire front brakes, rotors, and calipers. I went ahead and had both front calipers done even though the right side was not bad as they claimed. Better to get it all done at once so I don't have to go back later. The front left WAS in bad shape but the rest was not.These people saw a woman and thought they would take advantage. Despicable. read more

I asked them how much I had left on my brakes. They told me that I still had a little bit of time left before I would have to get new ones put on. I took my truck a week later to someone else and they let me see what my brakes looked like and come to find out Taylor Tires let me drive my truck without any brakes on the back and I had no brakes on passenger side. So the only brakes that I had was on drivers side and they were very very thin. How can you allow someone to drive off in their vehicle without any brakes. I could have been killed or injured. And I could have killed someone or injured someone if I had hit them. How can they sleep at night knowing that they did this. So please do not take your vehicle to this place for anything cos they will lie to you. I have to rate them so I can put my review on here but they dont even deserve 1 star

Traveling thru Dalton,Ga when my tire light came on, thinking the worst stopped in to this store. Chris and his men welcomed us,wife,myself, and 90lb.dog. They did their job, most of all DID NOT ROB ME. They treated me like a neighbor. You absolutely do not find this anymore,these guys restored my faith in humanity. I called at 5:45PM to ask if I could get my oil changed and tires rotated at 6:15PM and was told that was fine if I was there by that time. I was out the door with everything completed by 6:50PM.
