Normally I read reviews before I go to certain places, but in this case I'm glad I didn't. I had nothing but a great experience coming here. I schedule an appointment for all new tires to replaced on my car about a week in advance (which was almost immediately confirmed via email). I showed up this morning about 15min. early and was helped by the manager, Josh. He was super helpful and even informed me there was a special for a better set of tires for the same price. Um, YES please. When he asked if I was going to wait on the car or come back for pick up, I asked how long it would take and he told me an hour to and hour and a half - WHAT??? Super nice, was expecting the wait to be waaay longer. Anyways, I told him I would walk around Walmart for a bit then come back. When I came back, I went ahead and sat for maybe about 10-15min. and my car was done. I don't even think it had been an hour and a half. Maybe an hour, IF that. For Labor Day weekend, I was surprised at how quickly the car was turned around. This next part was super stressful on my part, but Josh made it seem like no big deal. I accidentally used the wrong card to pay, which he refunded back to the card, gave me a receipt, and I was then able to pay with the correct card. SERIOUS crisis averted, thank goodness. My car was running fine. I dropped it off for a simple state inspection. I paid $1500 just to get it back. When I got the car back I noticed a bunch of lights on the dashboard. I told them about it. He said if you have any problems take it in and we will look at it. I noticed lots of banging and friction when driving the car. I took the car back and told them. Now they say it will $2200 to fix the car! I really hate this place. They destroyed my car and is trying to blame me. read more

Horrible. I can see why it has a bunch of 1 star reviews. Absolutely not come here. There's a woman that works here and her name is Amanda. She totally straight out lied when I took my car in to get the brakes repaired. Said there was nothing they could do and I'd have to take it to the dealer. There was another tech who came out to the car while I left my car running and working just fine and then all the sudden after they gave me my keys, the car wasn't turning on at all. Amanda claimed the car was never on but that was not true. It was literally the first thing I mentioned to her when I first came into the repair shop. Buyer beware. Brought my truck in to have exhaust manifolds replaced. Technician working on it accidentally drilled into my engine block while trying to remove a broken stud. Manager hung up on me when I confronted him regarding the damage. Denied their was any issues with the job done. I went to the division manager regarding what happened and the manager of this location lied even though my truck has noticeable exhaust leak and was 3 times louder after having them work on it. Took my truck to a reputable repair shop and paid them $200 to remove the exhaust manifold just so i could take pictures of the damage that the treadquarters tech did to my engine. Needless to say, this location never got my business again. The service manager, needs a hard lesson in customer service, integrity, and not being a dbag. read more

So upset ! Came here for a $35 oil change and the mechanic broke my drivers seat.. he didn't have to respect to tell me . As I opened my door I noticed it was all the way back . I sat it up and it kept falling .its an automatic seat!!!! I'm sure he thought it was manual and forced it back . I sit all way up! I asked to call the manager. They tell me that they don't want to disturb him on his day off and to come in the morning! Overall the other guy was nice .. but the guy who broke it basically said it was the " straw that broke the camel back " my seat was electric .. bigger guys than him knew how to use the button to let the seat back . Called and made an appointment for an oil change. Very easy. Dropped my car and left figuring it would be about 30 minutes. Returned and waited some time before being told that my tires were counter balanced and needed to be balanced before the tires bounce off the car. I thought it was odd but gave consent. I had my tires balanced months ago and had the receipt. When I went back to the other company, they laughed saying I just got another balancing. They noticed their weights still on my car with added weights from treadquarters. Sad that I bring you business and you "recommend" extra unnecessary work. read more

Staff extremely rude on Thursday December 17th. Customer service lady had no mask on and was very snappy when asking for assistance with a flat tire especially as a young women. I asked for help with air in my tire as someone who is a previous and ongoing customer she was extremely rude and acted like my concern did not matter. I'm extremely upset with how I was treated today and feel like people who work in the front should have manners and courtesy and just simple respect. She did not relay the message to the mechanics and I'm extremely upset and will be calling corporate about this because this is not how you treat customers. Unfortunately, this isn't a good review either. Called before I went in for a flat just needed them to patch tire and change out spare. They informed me would be quick no appt necessary. Whenever we arrived they wanted to keep my truck overnight which seemed really odd for a 10 minute job. Informed them that a tire change doesn't take that long and I would not leave my vehicle with them. This 10 minute job turned into 2 hours. Also whenever got back into truck the tan leather front seat seemed to have oil and black markings all over it. New truck should have gone to dealership but this was close to Walmart and wanted convenience. read more

Although I had to wait one day to get a specific tire, I had it installed in about 1:20, about the same amount of time as I have waited at the Ford dealer the past two times, for a bit better of a price. The location allowed me to eat and shop while I waited. There was a line ahead of me and I might have been the last customer of the day and I think this explains why the time might seem so long to the casual observer. I don't have anything to complain about, but I don't have too many other experiences to compare it to as my tires have usually lasted for a long time, in this case 85,000 miles. read more

I arrived at your TQ on cunningham blvd in Hampton at 8:00 am (after being turned away from the pembroke location because their computer was "down"). I simply wanted to get a state inspection. Nichole greeted me and told me there was 4 in front of me. Thinking that each takes around 15 minutes, I said "About an hour?" She responded with "No, HOURS!". That really set the tone for my visit there. There was only one certified inspector on duty, and he was doing the fixes too. So if a car needed a brake changed when he inspected, he stops inspecting and fixes the brakes, causing my inspection time to get longer. I waited for 4 HOURS (11:45) for my car to finally get pulled into the garage. When it was, the technician would do one task, take a five minute break and then do another task. It was irritating! Finally at 12:30 they find a problem with my rear breaks. The technician and the manager get into almost blows over what it means, and what they will have to do (in front of me!). We decide on a course of action. At 1:00 they present their findings and need to clean my left rear break. They want to clean and calibrate both rear tires, but they find out that my right rear has a locking nut on it. We cannot find the key, so we agree just to fix the left one, as the right one is holding fine. Long story short, THEY FORGET TO PUT THE LUGNUTS BACK ON MY REAR TIRE. The one with the locking on the rear right. I drive all the way home, causing who-knows-what damage to my car/alignment/wheels. They are currently sending out a tech to fix it. Nichole the manager says she'll "make it right", but I don't know if i can ever trust your company with my vehicle again. Good day. read more

I ended up paying for labor hours where the technician was no where to be found. He refused to work on my vehicle until I gave him the wheel lock key. My vehicle does not have wheel locks in fact I had already answe red this question when I first came in. His response was "oh, I didn't even check, most Vw's have wheel locks on them." I explained it was a hybrid and we left it at that. Then I observed for a period of 20 minutes no work was being done. They seem to think women do not know their cars. When I first came in I told the attendant my wheel size all three numbers. He said I was missing one and went out to check anyway. Will not be going here again. Took a vehicle to get tires replaced and that was ok service. Took my other vehicle for a state inspection and they told me I needed about $1200 of work done to pass. My info in their system was out of state info because I'm military so I guess they didnt realize I was born and raised in Virginia and I'm very familiar with the inspection process. But just because, I took it to another shop and my personal mechanic and both claimed what they told me was bogus (which I already knew). Long story short both, my mechanic and the other shop told me what I needed and it would cost not more than $150. Sorry but they have lost a customer! I went to this location because I simply needed an inspection. The individual at the counter although not rude was not necessarily polite or professional. It was 9 AM and she stated that she could provide an inspection but I would have to leave my car there until 5 PM. Her suggestion was that I just wait although she already indicated that the inspection itself would only take one hour. There was no effort to accommodate to assist I even suggested maybe I can call back and see what was a good time to bring the car back that idea was rejected. I honestly do not feel that this particular location is very customer oriented. I don't know whether they could do a good job I didn't have the opportunity to find out. I literally found another business and within less than an hour had my inspection and my sticker with much better customer service. They did not lose a one time inspection they lost a customer for life. read more

Please do not invest any money in products that come from this store or have anything installed by this store. I bought four new tires from this store. Two weeks later, my left front tire has a bubble near the rim. According to Josh, it was caused by impact. He never even looked at my tire. I think the impact happened when they installed the tire. I didn't have an accident and there is no visible damage other than the bubble. I was told that there is no warranty and the tire can't be fixed. It will cost me $190+ with a discount for another tire. That is ridiculous! I just bought four new tires. And now I have to replace one! They will never get my business again! read more

I said I was done posting reviews about this Treadquarters, but every time I see more oil under our car, I fume! After a number of trips back for the same oil leak, it is STILL LEAKING! My son has a good court case but he just wants to put these crooks in the same basket as all the other big chains. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE CHAINS!
