I went to this place today because my tire light was on I experienced the horror of trusting the guy that had did a tire repair for me in the past. I asked him if he was busy he said only about ten minutes however another guy took my tire off and put a used tire on my car that had less tread on it than my tire he did this without asking me the way I found out was when he gave me the bill for fifty dollars after explaining to him I did not put used tires on my car and asking him to put my tire back on he started telling me a lie about my tire (take into consideration that I just had an inspection sticker put on at the dealership) pushing the jack under my car really hard and I could hear it hitting against metal so I told him to stop, Thinking that the guy that I trusted would clear up the issue was a mistake he told me that he would still have to charge me for labor? He did put my tire in my car when I asked him to give me my tire that was in a pile of other tires for some reason white X's was put on mine? Now I have to go and pay for my tire to be replace and disposal of the tire that was put on my car by that person? I hope that the Fifty dollars was helpful because they will not get anymore money from me. WHY DID someone PUT WHITE X's ON MY TIRE THAT WAS TAKEN OFF MY CAR WITHOUT MY PERMISSION? On January 23, 2023 I purchased 2 new tires from Walmart for my daughter's car, ( tires were put on the front). And then on June 13th I called J&M Tires to get 2 used tires (rear tires) for her car. The technician i spoke with said they had the tire size available and we arranged for my daughter to come in after work the next evening. The tires were put on her car July 14, 2023. Yesterday July 25th (11 days later) one of tires went flat and won't hold air. I checked the all the tires (all 4 were different brands) on her car and then I took a look at the Walmart and J&M tire receipts and discovered that J&M Tires took the brand new tires off her car and put used tires on the front. The mgr said that couldn't of happened, trust me it did! My daughter was taken advantage of, I will never do business with them or refer any one. Honest business establishment and great customer service. I took my vehicle in because I could see a nail in my tire and hear it every time the tire would turn. They took my vehicle back for service quickly and within a few minutes they came back to tell me that the nail did not penetrate the tire and that there was no cost. You just don't find that kind of honesty as commonplace anymore. I am very pleased and will definitely return in the future for all of my tire and alignment needs. I had a hole in my tire, and I had to keep adding air like every other day! A family member suggested a business, but I saw the reviews for J&M Tires, and decided to pay them a visit. As soon as I went in, a gentleman came from the garage and asked how he could help me. I told him what I thought my problem was. he told me that it was no problem and he would check it out for me. I did need a tire, but that was because I had filled my flat-all-the-time tire with the gooey Fix-A-Flat. There was no pressure to buy a tire but it was the best thing to do. I got a really good deal. The guys put my tire on, and also checked my other tires and added air where needed. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. We had a flat tire coming back to PA from the Outer Banks and were given a minimum of a 45 minute wait before AAA could respond. We were able to ger air in the tire and found J&M two miles away. Tire was already flat by the time we got there. They saw us right away and it turned out to be a simple valve replacement. He evaluated the remaining tires, as we'd already had a similar problem this trip with a different tire. Got us back on the road in less than fifteen minutes, at a very reasonable price. I was looking online for a used tire as a spare for my '55 Chevy. J&M Tire popped up and was only about 8 miles from my house. I figured why not give them a try. Man O Man was I glad that I did ! They had a used Firestone tire that was at least half tread and looked great for a lot less than 4 other tire places that I tried and had worn out tires ! I bought the tire and the attitude of the guys there were GREAT ! You would have thought that I was spending a thousand dollars there. For price and customer service, J&M is as good as it gets ! I belong to a Classic Car Club and you can bet that I'm going to spread the word around about J&M Tire !!!! If you need new or used tires or alignment on your car, then this is the place to go! My tire kept getting low on air every other day... So I took my car to Firestone & they had my car for a few hours and called me to tell me my tire was not repairable! They either couldn't fix it for some reason... or too lazy or too greedy to help me! I found J&M Tire World online & decided to give them a try based on their reviews.... The place looked shady & I was skeptical... But they took an hour which was not bad at all considering I didn't make an appointment! They found a nail in my tire and repaired it! They saved me & took the time to FIND the problem & TRY the repair before forcing a tire on me! That alone told me that they are doing what's best for the customer. I know I need new tires and sometimes repairs aren't a permanent solution. But... Honest work at this location!! The inside lobby area is not five stars... But the service was five stars!! read more
