Left there today and I have to say the crew working was awful. There was oil residue on the inside part of my door and steering wheel. Than I was driving to work and my hood wasn't latched and it was shaking ready to flip up on the highway. I own a regular how difficult is it to secure a hood. read more

Mercury Blvd. This team is ALWAYS the most polite, thorough & prompt in getting my oil service & tire rotation. They are detail oriented and the manager even went out of the way to ensure they keep 10 Qts of 0w40 full synthetic for my 6.2L v8 Camaro. NO ONE ELSE DOES THAT! I needed brake work ASAP. They were super expensive but they got me in and out quick. I only needed new pads on one wheel, but the upsold me on pads and rotors for all 4. That's what they're supposed to do, so I'm not mad. read more

We just drove away! We called and for a price for a grease job and an oil change, they also said 15.99 there would be no wait. We got there they changed the price and upped it to over 49.99. I said that was a bit more expensive droop the oil change and just grease the car. Then I got told that would be 19.99 How do I get told 3 different prices within 10 min from 2 different people? This is my go to for oil changes. They are fast and courteous. I especially like that they keep my information on file so when I return they already know what I want. I usually leave here with an extreme appreciation for the timeliness of service and customer appreciation. This review is based on my last visit to this location. I am only giving the 4 star rating based off the previous experiences always being pleasant and I would normally rate them 5 star... however;... More recently I went in for an oil change and was informed I would need my rear brake pads replaced. I intended to pay with cash, as I had recently ordered a new Visa card and was without one at this visit, so I said I would return for the pads. My visit that day was otherwise pleasant as usual. About a week or 2 later I returned and explained to an attendant about my previous visit. He offered to do the full inspection to assure we weren't being oversold... minutes later my husband and I were approached in the waiting area and told we should replace all of the brake pads. Well okay in my mind I'm thinking I wasn't expecting to pay double but brakes are important- just strange they wouldn't have mentioned all of the brakes being low the last visit. The attendant then began to speak about the brake system and such and asked us if we know anything about brakes... we do not and didn't pretend to know. So he invited us to come see what he was talking about. Not sure what showing us is going to do when we admittedly do not know about brakes and we do not have a manual in our face to verify his words... which weren't exactly sounding official, had he used a slightly more professional terminology or displayed a more professional demeanor I might not have questioned his presentation... he shows us the pads and I nod and tell him to replace them all if they need replacing (still don't know what they're supposed to look like- I just know I would prefer a professional replace them) at which point the attendant took it up a notch and started passive aggressively selling me on rotors. He touched the rotor and played on how hot it was as an indicator that they should be replaced... (couldnit have anything to do with me commuting over 20 miles in traffic?) he tried to pull his manager (only individual not in the matching uniform holding a clipboard?) into the conversation to agree with him, which the manager started to make a comment but the attendant quickly interrupted by saying "I just don't want to have to charge y'all a thousand dollars today"... at this point I got the feeling we were being duped. I confirmed the agreement to the replace the front and back pads but nothing else (at least until I could do my research- if I'm going to spend $1k on something I want to be sure it's necessary and for quality). Unlike previous visits the same technician who worked on my vehicle checked me out. He highly recommended I change the rotors on my next oil change. I agreed I would consider it. I walked out feeling embarrassed that I did not have a better understanding of auto mechanics and although I have never felt like I was being oversold at this location, at least until this visit, I felt duped into spending double what I was prepared to spend when I walked in. I'm not sure if the attendant was new (I have never worked with him in the 4 years I've been going to this location) and maybe that's how they did business at his previous location, or what would cause me to feel like he was being deceptive... but I had a gut feeling and since I have done a little research, and spoken with some who are a little more mechanical than I am, and I am absolutely 100% sure he was just trying to make a sale. Good for him for trying the upsale... bad for business to recommend products the customer doesn't need... it has definitely changed my view of this business, even if only a slight amount. I have decided when I do replace my rotors it will not be at the location. I may continue to go here for my usual oil changes, tire rotations etc, but I will either employ my mechanic friends or take it to a shop specializing in another other concerns. read more

This particular location has repeatedly only been a hit or miss for me. I have continually had the servicemen and women stain the inside of my car with oil that they get on themselves from working on cars. They're pretty fast but is that worth it when you walk away with oil stains in your car? I'm torn. read more

I must say that the oil change was expensive at 44.95, but I was miles behind so I had to get it done. When I pulled up in the back I was greeted promptly and escorted to their indoor waiting area. A different attendant who is just in charge of sales came in and asked which oil option I wanted. I let him know and about 10 minutes later he came back and let me know of other things that were wrong with my vehicle. He wasn't pushy when I said no to the options, just advised. They topped all my fluids, did and oil change and changed the air filter all I'm about 20 minutes. They were very professional. Upon leaving the initial employee that greeted me came back in and opened the door for me to walk out, and even opened my car door for me. I would recommend this place based off the service. Great experience. I was greeted at my car. The door was opened for me. I was offered coffee and magazines. Technicians were courteous and professional. Showed me my air filter and recommended a new one. Didn't push for useless service and unnecessary maintenance. Only down side was I brought my own filter and told them to use it and they didn't. I would have given them 5 stars if they offered a military discount. Will definitely use them again. read more

I took my BMW X5 to Jiffy lube on the day after Thanksgiving 2012. After they took my car in for service, checked me in and vacuumed my car, I was then told that I was being refused service because the oil bolt would not turn all the way out so they could not complete the oil change. I didn't quite understand if the bolt was stuck or what ~ the mechanic was quite vague and kinda rushed me and my family off. I returned to Washington, DC two days later, my oil light came on so I went to my mechanic. When my mechanic turned the bolt, the head came off but the remaining bolt was stuck inside because the bolt had been broken and there was oil all underneath my carriage. Since discovering that the bolt was broken by the Jiffy Lube station, I contacted the station and eventually spoke with the District Manager Greg who asssured me that he would take care of everything. He detailed the conversation by telling me all the trouble he has had with the employees at that location, so he has plans to fire the team there. What's worst, this guy did not call my mechanic as I asked and has not returned any of my calls. I'm not sure about you...but I value my time and car enough to NEVER take my car to another JIFFY LUBE because my car, even if worth only 5$, deserves more care and I deserve integrity. I will be following this review by contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Attourney General. Beware, save your money, your time and go to Merchants or to your local dealer. Businesses like this should not exist. read more
