I bought a set of tires for my truck in December of 2023 for over $2200. Requested an alignment I specifically remember asking for. Put less than 15,000 miles on the tired and two started to cup. Rotated them and in 8,000 miles the other two have shown no wear at all. Come in today and was told I declined alignment and warranty. Goodyears website specifically states that my tires have a 50,000 mile warranty and was told by the shop manager they have no warranty at all. Do not do any business here as they will avoid any warranty work and have no sense of customer service. read more

They did not do the service I paid for, found out from another mechanic shop that that it was never done. Do not go here they will lie to your face. The shop that told me it was not done was boulevard tire on woodland. Talked to the manager at tire choice after boulevard told me that And he said they will look at it. after he looked at it for 10 seconds they said they were "replaced" once again lying to my face. ****************WARNING*************** I went to this place on a Sunday about a half an hour before closing. My car had a flat about a mile away and I just wanted to get it going until I could get a real tire and since my spare was shredded and flat, I took it here. They said they can't be bothered to carry spares, if any kind. It was now 15 minutes before they close. I hop back in the kind person who gave me a ride's car and tell them I need to hurry and grab the flat so they can do it. We run back to my car at breakneck speed, I jack up the car and yank the tire off in 4 minutes flat and we head back to the place. Now 3 minutes til close I apologized for even asking and acknowledge I'm asking a lot. I explain I need it like now because I live in my car. I give him the size and the guy goes in to check the computers. He tells me they only have a Goodyear. I ask how much, he tells me $206.16 mounted and balanced. For one tire, of a common size. If you wanted to be treated right and not overpay, I beg you not to go here. I went down the road and at 6:45 on a Sunday, a place with a name linked to scrooge gave me a tire for $40 bucks and informed me he has stacks of spares. I'll be back to his shop not just once but from now on when I'm in Deland. As for this place, ever, ever, ever again. Apparently they don't sell typically sized tires for less than $200 despite the fact that I have never ever ever been ti a place that had not only new but also used tires in that very common size. Trust me, go somewhere else. You can't go wrong, as long as it's not here, you are likely to get at least a reasonable deal rather than $206.16 for a standard Goodyear tire. Took my car there for the free brake check since a light came on the dash, nothing wrong with the brakes denied paying $80 to reset my brake sensor light. They tried upselling on a bunch of work one being the ac compressor stretch belt, we declined everything, now Ive never once had any issue with the ac, but we get the car back and the ac isn't working. They said the belt must've conveniently just snapped by itself while in their shop. Also they wanted $500 to fix the belt. I went somewhere else got it fixed for $200 and the place I went reset the light on my dash for free.. Go literally anywhere else! read more

I went to get my front brakes replaced . I purchased the parts from the same place your company buys them, to save time. I spoke to Earl Cook who was great but said that they could not use the parts that I bought from the same company that they get them. I was also told that now they have to change the rotors even though they have not been driven over 50 thousand miles to be replaced. WHY!! Please explain. Not sure I'm qualified to evaluate, here's the story, you decide. Front tire went flat overnight in Miami. Re-inflated the tire, drove it back to Deland, wanted to have it checked out. Another shop that sounds like Ire DingDom didn't want to look at it. ( Bought the tires there, didn't mention that to the CSR ) Came here, they said no problem. Dunked it, nothing, broke the bead and inspected it, nothing. Put a new core in the stubby valve stem, I think they balanced it too. Charge : NOTHING. There were other customers there in the lobby, I said 'Come on, are you serious?' The guy would not take money. I'm coming here for ANY tire problems, and FYI it's a AWD Jaguar X Type so they gonna make some $$ on my next visit. Sorry Ire DingDom. P.S. good magazine selection in lobby, too. read more

I'm so happy that I've discovered The Tire Choice! Phil and AJ have worked patiently with us for two weeks on the lemon of a used car I just purchased--and they made it clear, upfront, that my safety and limited budget were their first concerns. They are always patient, pleasant, and even comforting on the phone (yes, I've called a couple of times crying in frustration at the car). A few days ago, they were doing a major repair on the car, which I expected to take a couple of days. I was so surprised when Phil answered the phone after closing time (I'd expected to leave a message). I asked him what he was still doing there. He said, "I told you we weren't going to leave you hanging. I'll be here until your car is done." I'd like to point out, as well, that many times when my son dropped the car off, they've given him a ride home, and that when the car was finished, they've come get him to pick it up. Went to The Tire Choice to have two tires mounted and balanced. They wanted 118 dollars plus tax! I told them that it cost 60 dollars at Tire Kingdom or 35 at Walmart. The guy behind the counter could not of cared any less. I guess they don't care that they are WAY WAY WAY overpriced. I went to Walmart and was done in 30 minutes for 35 dollars with a lifetime balance guarantee. Do not go here for anything. There prices are nuts! read more

I bought tires for my boat trailer when this location was owned by McGee. One of them blew out when it was just sitting in the garage. I called Tire Choice and was told they would give me a good deal. I didn't have any confidence in the Hercules tires that they sold me before so I priced a Carlisle from them at $138 (each). Since the service writer next to him just said to another customer I don't want to lose your business over $20 I asked for his best price and was told $138. I asked them if they would price match the Walmart price of $76 and was told NO. I called Discount Tire and told them about the Walmart price and they sold me the Carlisle tires for $75 each. Discount Tire matched the Walmart price for me before and now they have done it again. Discount Tire is my tire store for all future business. So long Tire Choice.... read more

Bought eight tires for two vehicles and I am having a break problem along with needing a tire rotation. They claim to have free break inspection so brought my vechile to the store in Deland to have my brakes and tires rotated which A.J. I wanted to try a new tire store that was closer to my house so I tried to give the tire choice a try. I put a leveling kit on my ford and called to set up a appointment to have the front end aligned. I was told by Keith that I needed to bring the manufacturer of the leveling kit spec sheet to determine the settings in order to be aligned properly. I questioned Keith but he insisted he needed the specs so I did some research. After talking with 4-5 mechanics the salesman at boulevard tire and finally receiving a call back from the manufacturer of the leveling kit everyone told be you only need the specs if your doing a 6 inch lift our more and whoever told you that is a idiot. Needless to say I took the truck to boulevard where the realigned my truck back to the factory settings. I decided to give tire choice another try because they're so close to the house and they're open on Sunday. I figured maybe Keith was having a bad day so I took my old tires off my previous truck down to have them mounted on my new f150 with the leveling kit. I was there at there start time of 9:30 on Sunday to drop the truck off and was told if it wasn't done today they would get it first thing in the morning. I said that's not a option it's my daily driver I was told yesterday on the phone by chad to drop it off first thing and they'll get it done. I asked them if they would call me when they finished and Keith said no call us mid afternoon. Most tire stores at least the good ones call you to say the works complete. I called around 2 and was told by Keith the tires are way to big for the manufacturers recommendations and they weren't going to clear and would hit my fender and frame. Why they couldn't mount 1 and see if it would clear is beyond me. The new tires are 1.5 inches taller and a inch wider than the stock tires that came on the truck so it's not a big difference at all. Also a friend has the exact same truck as mine with the same 2 inch leveling kit same size tires and they clear fine actually could go bigger as they clear the fenders by 2-3 inches. After a total waist of time dealing with Keith I took my truck to Izzys down the road where they mounted a front tire to make sure they fit after determining there was plenty of clearance they mounted all 4 and the truck looks great Save yourself some headache don't deal with little fella Keith at tire choice go to Izzys or boulevard tire they're way easier to deal with. Keith's more of a problem causer when what most people want is a problem solver. Hope this helps. read more

I took my car into this shop to get an inspection done on my rear brakes only, just to find out that they did inspection on all four wheels which I wasn't too happy about that being that I told them I had inspection done someplace else. So anyway I needed rear brakes and rotors resurface I allow them to go ahead and do the job. So after the job was completed I drove my car not even half a block away from the shop, noticing my car wasn't driving the way it drove when I first drove it there, it was raining that day so I thought nothing of it, so a couple weeks later I called to let them know what I was experiencing with the car and was told to bring it in to be looked at. The one guy took a look at my tires and told me after he wiggled my front right tire, he told me I needed wheel bearings on that front left and then proceeded to tell me I needed a wheel alignment and three new tires. I was gonna get the wheel bearings done with the wheel alignment, then he told me he wasn't gonna do the job until I buy the three tires for $350.00 first. He was rude and loud with me. I asked him for a written estimate because that didn't make sense that I had to get new tires before they can do the job, he told me he was not gonna give me a written estimate if I don't get the work done today and that the price can go up. There was another mechanic being loud saying I couldn't have the written estimate if I don't bring the car back within a week the price will go up, I just felt so bad because I really wanted to get my car fixed but only wanted to get the major parts fixed first.
