I went in for an oil change on the 26th of January. The next morning I woke up with oil all over my driveway. Took it back and they told me my drain plug was worn out. Which is weird because this exact same thing happened to me around 6 months ago at the Daytona beach location. I don't like to cause a scene about stuff so I just let them replace it and went on my way. The next day I woke up and noticed I was still leaking oil but not as much. Called and set up an appointment for them to look at it and now they tell me my oil pan is leaking. I've NEVER had an issue with my oil leaking until I got my oil changed here. They quoted me around $300 to replace. Called corporate and opened a case. Someone reached out to me and tried to tell me my oil pan started leaking because of the weather... He swore this was not caused by them but then proceeded to try and give me a discount on the labor to replace it. I showed the manager on duty a screen shot from google explaining how your oil pan can start leaking due to a faulty oil change and he proceeds to tell me "well you can't believe everything you read online" in a condescending tone. The guy from cooperate told me he would watch video footage of that day and see if he sees anything off while they were servicing my car. I messaged that guy back yesterday to check and see if he has had a chance to view the footage and have gotten no response. This was my first visit to any Pep Boys location but this certainly won't be my last, my usual Oil Change location was too busy to accommodate my schedule so I landed here. I submitted an online appointment request 1 hour prior to arriving here and they responded and accepted my request. The staff here is everything I could of expected, friendly, attentive and very professional. I had a coupon for the Mobil 1 synthetic oil change and this was scanned in their system without a need for any explanation. I think this crew has earn my business going forward shame on my former location for not trying to work me in. Check in was breeze. Service desk employee was polite. However, I will not be back. Its a shame because I used to get amazing service at this location. It was dropped off at 9am and not finsihed until 2:50. Received an oil change and they didn't bother to put air in the tires--I did it myself today. I was told my other concern was not even a problem when clearly it was. Only redeeming factor was they dropped the problem diagnostic fee (thank you) since they didn't find a problem. read more

Pleasant, friendly people! All I needed was air in my tire. A very nice young man did it for free after a tire shop down the street wanted to charge me $5. Needless to say, if I need a tire in the future, I will go back to Pep Boys. A smile definitely goes a long way. read more

As known as Pep Boys. Took over 4 hours, just to change front brakes with NO ONE else in shop. Mgr begged for us to leave perfect review... However, not even 15 min down the road, nearly totalled my car, as the pedal went straight to the floor, when trying to stop at a major intersection. Took to another mechanic nearby, to find out they forgot to bleed the brakes. Called mgr, he said to not drive car for 20 min and that this happened bc we didn't buy a brake flush, which if that's the case, WHY WERE WE NEVER OFFERED TO EVEN BUY A BRAKE FLUSH?!? All to find out, this was just a lie, to cover up their mistake, that could have cost my family our lives... WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!! read more

I have use this location for years and recently my daughter brought her car there because her AC was not blowing cool air. They did a diagnostic on it and quoted her $2200 for a new condenser and compressor. She could not afford that and spoke to a neighbor who is a mechanic. He said it was probably just a solenoid valve. She paid $25 for the valve and he installed it and her AC now works perfectly. $25 versus the $2200 Pep Boys quoted. WHAT A RIP OFF. I am so disappointed and disheartened by this. DO BETTER PEP BOYS...do better. read more

I took my truck to pepboys I thought I needed breaks with a low break pedal they said no too breaks but I needed wheel cylinders 2 of them est 320.00 to do the job ...when I pick up the truck they had the bill padded up too 456.00..they were trying to sell me more stuff on the phone...which make it even wross ..the break pedal goes even lower now...they also sold me wrong tires for one on my vans a year ago.....................they burn me a year ago on the tires..........iam done I will never go back to this rip off place read more

These guys are extremely good at knowing your car. I had a situation where Walmart service had messed up my car really bad. These guys figured if out, wrote it up, and fixed my car at the most reasonable price and got me my money back from Walmart. Pep Boys even has towing now that is only $19.99! My experience here was nothing but pleasing. The service team are polite and knowledgeable. They recommended services but we're not pushy at all. It was milage based services they recommended. I felt visiting this repair shop was a great experience, the prices were reasonably pleasing as well. 34$ for oil change while I waited. The price would go up if I needed synthetic or used a premium oil but with the age of my vehicle, I don't need premium. I liked the experience I had today. read more

My son had a surprise flat tire this morning and had to be towed here. Sean Dubell was incredibly helpful and pleasant for him to deal with (as a mother 50 miles away, knowing your kid is being honestly and well taken care of is priceless!), actually managed to repair the tire for free, and gave an honest assessment of what work did and didn't need to be done. Visited them twice in the same day, had an appointment at 7 am to get trailer tires and like clock work they were on the job, had me out in 30 minutes, needed to return and retrieve one of the tires to add as my spare and they mounted this at no charge. Great Management and even met the mechanic, this is what I like and will return. read more

Please if you want to maintain your vehicle in good condition do not go to PEP Boys!!! THEY DO NOT DO WHAT THEY SAY!!! I was having transmission problems with my grandfathers van after using them to change the oil twice... They never checked the other fluids as I had asked 3 times and esp. mentioning the trans fluid!!! You are supposed to get a 20 something point inspection inc and they never checked anything else, I know this because I took it to a reputable diagnostic shop and they said NO WAY!!! They said that there is not a chance in this world that they did ask I asked or it says comes with there oil change...Matter a fact my air filter was horrible to. I think they just threw some oil in and charged 20 something bucks. read more
