The other day I came into Tire Kingdom feeling defeated after getting a tire rotation at a different shop and getting the news that there was a razor blade in the shoulder of my tire, and that the shop didn't have a tire to replace mine. The air in my tire was leaking quickly and I was so nervous. I walked in the door and was immediately greeted with a smile. There was a tire of the right size across town, so one of the mechanics drove over to get it for me, and put it on my car in a timely manner. I just wanted to say that the front desk was friendly at Deland Tire Kingdom at the beginning. For an oil change and tire rotation, I arrived at 8am and left at 1030 am. The old man told me, "Sorry for the delay, but this is what happens when you're waiting in line."  "Only one person is ahead of me." Through the window, I saw this young redhead working on my car. Many shops don't rotate tires when asked to do so, so I was watching. In fact, he pulled the tires down and he didn't rotate the rear tires to the front. It even occurred to me to tell one of them that my tires were not rotated. He did it, according to the young men. I watched him, however. My mind was blown. I came too this location 4 times trying too get alignment done and could never get it done. On my first visit to this location I got half an alignment because i was missing dowel pins and they couldn't do it properly ( I totally understand) Mike said I'll get the dowel pins ordered and you can come back the following Saturday afterwards he starts pushing for tips, since I didn't pay for the "half" alignment It's not like it was my fault you couldn't get the parts.. Okay on my second visit to this location, they couldn't even touch my truck because they didn't have the mechanic there who could do the work. Now let's go for round three, I show up for my 4 o'clock appointment and they pull my truck on the alignment machine. My truck sits there for two hours running and nobody touching it. I know this because I'm watching it through the window getting highly frustrated, after about an hour of waiting. Mike comes in there and tells me they have an emergency brake job and have nobody to work on my truck. It would be really nice if I could leave and come back in about two hours, I said well that's not possible I made an appointment. I need to get my truck done. This is my third time being here to get this done. so after about two hours of waiting, the mechanics finally finished their little brake job and tell me that they have to take lunch before they can even even look at my truck. Taking into consideration, my truck is still running on the alignment machine. I had to bring it up to the Manager. My truck has been running and nobody touching it. he walks out there and has them shut it off before they take lunch. I wait around another 30 minutes for them just too tell me that they don't have all the parts and that I need to come back once again. So now on my fourth visit to the same location trying to get a alignment done. Mike refuses to do my alignment and tells me I should probably go somewhere else. I will never spend my money at a tire kingdom again. read more

Absolutely useless store and employees. Made an appointment to have tire put on my travel trailer only to get there and was told they did not have a jack to lift it. What? a tire store that does not have a 2 ton jack? these guys are idiots. My little truck jack lifts it with ease. I'm glad I did not use them. They probably would have forgotten to tighten the lug nuts or something. Anyway, bought tires from tire rack and saved $200. Had them put on at my local small independent tire shop for $20 apiece. Called and got an appointment and told the guy the specific oil that I wanted. He assured me that he had it, no problem. Keith (Store Manager) and his staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I don't know much about tires or cars, so I was worried about going somewhere that would try to take advantage of that. They were fantastic, they matched the tire tread and put the new tire on within 45 minutes. For a place called Tire Kingdom, it's pretty sad when they don't have your tires in stock. It's even worse when they order your tire and when you come back, they still have the wrong size. I took my vehicle to Tire Kingdom to get four tires and an alignment on a Saturday. The manager said that it would take a couple of hours. I dropped the vehicle off at 12:30 and he said it would be ready by 3:00. I never heard from them. When I drove there at 5:00, which was the closing time, they still had not started on my vehicle. At 6:15 the vehicle was supposedly ready. However, the manager said that they did not have time to do an alignment. I am confused how the manager said they had time to do it earlier in the day but they really did not. They also gave me a LONG list of recommendations! My vehicle does NOT need all of those recommended services. When I drove home, my vehicle was shaking the entire way! I knew something was not right. After being treated so poorly there, I did not have trust that they would fix it correctly. Therefore, I took it to another tire shop. They could not believe that Tire Kingdom did NOT even balance my tires. It was the worst balancing they had ever seen. The tires were all different! I am grateful to the other tire shop for balancing the tires and doing an alignment check! I will never return to Tire Kingdom! Who puts four tires on a vehicle without balancing them or doing an alignment check?!?! The manager is rude and condescending! He was even talking about an employee in a rude manner in front of me! I'd put negative stars but not an option! Don't take your car here for brakes. $350 for new brakes and rotors took it back three times for continuous grinding. First trip back they told me it was my tires and it was "road noise". 3rd trip they said it was my back breaks that they checked at initial brake inspection.Paid $30 for preventative maintenance. Left that day and couldn't put my parking brake up. Had to spend another $150 to get new brakes and my rotors turned at a brake place. Just Brakes said they put the wrong pads on my car and had put one pad on wrong. No more grinding and squealing now! read more

If you are a woman alone I don't recommend going here! Manager lied to my face! I had my oil changed and the tires rotated and balanced. My car started "shaking " I checked my tires at a gas station and the pressure was fine. It got worse and worse! I had a friend follow me and she told me my rear drivers side tire was wobbling. Her husband checked and 3 of my lug nuts were loose. He tightened them. It helped but the problem was still there. I went back to tire kingdom and they said they would take a look. After a couple of hours they said my car was good to go, I asked that they take it for a test drive to make sure. They came back and said they had it up to 70 and no shake. as soon as I pulled out I knew they had lied. I wanted to cry! The next day I took my car to a small shop. My tire was damaged because of the lug nuts being loose. They didn't even check at Tire Kingdom! They just wanted me to go away! The shop owner said that he could see it without even taking the tire off. He marked the huge lump in my tire, He even offered to go to Tire Kingdom with me because what they did put my life in danger! On Sunday morning, 250 miles from home, I needed a patch for a nail in a front tire and on the lift discovered my rear tires were badly worn. While patching the nail hole, they determined they didn't have the new tires in stock but located them at a nearby store, called to confirm actual stock. When the patch was finished, they sent me on my way without charging me for the patch telling me to put it toward the tire replacement! Free is nice; but, even better is the sense that Tire Kingdom cared about its customer having a good day. read more
