I went in today to have a tire checked for a screw. They looked over the tire and said the screw wasn't thru the tire and it should be ok if removed. Told them to take it out and put the tire back on. They did that and when I came home to take out the screw it immediatly began leaking air. Now I have to go back out and have the tire fixed. Not only did I waste 35 minutes there but now I will waste whatever time it takes to go somewhere else and have the tire properly fixed. read more

I bought 4 tires in Feb 2018 along with the warranty to cover balancing, rotation, and repairs. Took the car in today to have one of the tires patched. They refused to cover the patch under warranty because the date code was in 2017 and they said the tire was too old. So I asked them to patch the tire and I would pay for it. Then thay called and said they couldn't patch it due to dry rot. I was a service writer at a Ford dealership and know that there are varying levels of dry rot. I had tires like this patched many times. Our dry rot was so minimal it was difficult to see. "It's our policy" the manager said. I call BS. This is nothing more than a ploy to sell new tires. Total scam. Went in for an oil change, they were like what kind of oil and I was like I don't remember,, I can go check my paperwork in the car. Hadn't gotten it changed in a while. Dude was like nah its fine and btw you're due for a 60k mile tune up. Quoted me $420. I wasn't really sure how much a full tune up was going to be for this car so I was like okay... 2 hours later they call "hey looks like you got a busted coil, gotta fix it itll be $230 for the part PLUS labor costs" life wtf am i going to do? Have my car towed somewhere else? I'm like okay.... guess it needs fixed. Got the bill and the $420 was for $100 PREMIUM oil change and then they charge me an additional $11 a quart for oil? 5 quarts? Are they serious? Even online the most expensive one is $91. So $155 for a premium oil PACKAGE and double charged $16 each for spark plugs and a coil they probably broke. Because the car has 58k miles and I keep it maintained and they rarely go out before that... plus no misfiring/engine trouble. Only came here because my usual place is closed due to covid. And they did not show me the broken coil. They even made "oh hes a bad guy" jokes. I should have just did the math there and been like "why is this not adding up right". So yeah a $45 oil changed turned into a $700 mess! Will not be shopping here again. And it looked like they were pressuring an elderly lady in line before me to get a credit card with them too. Shoulda ran as soon as I got a shady vibe. read more

Very slow service, even with a scheduled appointment. Rotate and balance waiting over an hour at this time .... No like! In the end I was there for 75 minutes, I also think they were lying about having done the alignment. Very frustrating .... Also hate the sales pressure. Terrible customer service. They sold me a lifetime alignment package and didn't tell me i had to come in and gt the tires aligned on a regular basis. When the 60,000 tires were worn after 35,000 miles they told me it's an alignment issue and they and wouldn't honor the 60,000 mile warranty and wanted to sell me new tires. I had an appointment for a follow up alignment I arrived an hour early hoping to get it in and out. But to no avail.no updates from staff.just kind of left hanging I just had aligned for second time about 6 months ago and shocks put on.and steering wheel was all crooked pulls to left and starting cupping tires. I would give them no stars if I could. Took a customers 2017 Silverado I just put a 6 inch lift kit on and 35 inch tires to have it aligned. They didn't know that I lift and lower trucks as part of my profession and lied to me about 5 or 6 things that they figured I didn't know about. One of the bigger lies they told me was that when you lift a truck it's impossible to get it aligned now, and that I ruined the truck. Not very professional of the store manger to tell someone. Good luck to anyone that wishes to use there services but just know that they made up a few lies to me and I wouldn't trust them to do anything because of that. read more

My wife went into the Tire Kingdom on N Woodland yesterday because we had a flat tire over the weekend. We knew that we would probably need at lest 2 tires...so we paid for 2 tires and a 3 year alignment. After 3 hours of installation and all that, my wife climbs into the vehicle and the steering wheel literally starts to shake left to right. She calls the store back and says she needs to come back the next day. The next morning (this morning), they inform her that the tires that they moved from the back to the front have flat spots that are causing the shaking. My question is this - if you handled the tires and installed them... balanced, rotated, and aligned the vehicle, when during that process did you miss that the tires were not in good shape?? 4 tires later, we are beyond disappointed at the fact that they did not disclose the condition of the tires. Only thing that was positive is that there are other Tire Kingdom stores nearby, and we will definitely be trying those instead of this one. read more

I was told at Tires Plus (Xavier) that they were too busy to fix my tire with a screw in it. I asked if anybody else was still open and he told me Tire Kingdom was but he had 2 customers in his business that were turned away by Tire Kingdom because they were too busy. He told me not too waste my time going there and he would make an appointment in the morning for me. I took a chance and went to Tire Kingdom and Keith said no problem we can do it this evening. What a super nice guy and knowledgeable. I would have had to take the tire off of the car myself(it would have been flat)and take it to them and miss a half days work the next morning. I will be taking ALL of my tire business to Tire Kingdom. Can't say enough about how friendly the staff is! read more

Had a slow leak in my tire. It took about a month for it to go almost flat. I don't drive the car very often (maybe 5 miles a week), so did not notice it. Was getting ready to go on a 2 hour trip in an area with few places to stop, so took it to Tire Kingdom to get the tire fixed. I left the car overnight for a oil change and to get the tire fixed. The next morning they had changed the oil, but the manager, Dan, said his Tech had found NO ISSUE with the tire. I drove it to Daytona Beach and by the time I got back to Deland, the tire was almost flat. I took it to Pep Boys in Orange City and within 5 minutes they told me I had a cracked rim, which was causing my tire to go flat. If I had taken Tire Kingdom's word that there were no problems, I would have been stranded out in the woods with no cell signal in that remote area, late at night! I called to let Tire Kingdom know what happened and they assured me that Dan, the manager, would get back with me. No surprise...it's be 2 days and I haven't heard a word. My recommendation: take your cars to Pep Boys in Orange City, instead. The assistant manager, Sean, went out of his way to get me back on the road!! read more

Made an appointment for 6 pm on Monday 8/15/16 for a simple oil change. Got there at 5:45 and it took the guy out front 10 mins to get me checked in. I gave him my key and asked how long will it take and he told me one hour. I show up at 7 pm and ask is my truck ready and he had no idea. Clueless. The fact of the matter was he forgot about my truck. The job had not been done. Not that hard guys. I will never ever go to Tire Kingdom again and will bad mouth them for the next couple of days telling whoever I can about this comical experience. This place is a joke. Save yourself the frustration and bypass this wannabe establishment. Read your process manuals better guys. read more
