This place is ok... We had the queso for an appetizer. It was ok. It hardened up a couple minutes after being served and was a small portion for the price. I had the Ahi tacos. The filling was very good, but the soft shells were either overcooked, or stale.. they were hard to bite through. The side of white rice and beans needs major improvement. It was very cheap minute type rice. The atmosphere was kind of bland. The drinks were quite good. They charged me for my kids meal drink which is included.. and I didn't notice until after we left because my husband paid the bill. The service was decent, not super friendly. The inside decor is very nice looking with a California vibe & really good music playlist. The servers sit you right away, friendly, & recommended a dish that was her favorite plus a popular dish. The beer list was really nice they are can or bottle beers mostly. Loved the Apple pie beer from FL it tasted like pie crust. The crab dip appetizer with chips was not great & wouldn't recommend it. I was expecting it to be a hot dip. It came had chips you could buy at the store & the dip was shaped like it was a scoop of ice cream. The Cuban soft tacos with cilantro rice & black beans weren't bad but nothing great. Flour tortilla & the fish were over cooked though. The Thai shrimp tacos came out incorrectly. It was suppose to be one soft & one hard but got two soft. Everything just tasted very bland. Over all nothing really special. My Wife and I initially went to the Tipsy Taco Cantina because the Hotel Deck Clerk recommended it AND it was directly across the Street. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was FABULOUS and the Service was outstanding. Our server was SCOTT. He suggested a Shrimp Taco and they were delicious. I had the Poke Bowl and really enjoyed it. As we were leaving we saw an advertisement for a Special of The Day Fish Sandwich, so several hours later we called in a Take Out Order for a Fish Sandwich and a Fish Taco. Both were delicious, very well seasoned. I highly recommend this place, GREAT Food at reasonable price. read more

Gave it an honest try. Service is slow, meat quantity was very small on the tacos. No sides available that night and the manager kept offering people "fresh cocktails". They don't have a liquor license so how can they make cocktails? The drinks I saw were being poured from pre-made mixes. This has been the experience of most of my friends as well. You burn locals and you lose after September 1st when the tourists go home. Shame because it's a beautiful interior and location. I want to come back. We then waited 15 mins for anyone to come over and greet us. Then we ordered drinks from the bar, which took another 15. The food was subpar, not the best but definitely not what the pictures on their page show. The waitress was awkward and rude and would run off before we could ask for something. At the end of the night a roach crawled under our table and sat there. We got up and left. Don't waste your time. When we visit Ormond Beach we always struggle where to eat. We saw this new place within walking distance of our hotel and decided to give it a shot. It was clean and full but not crowded. There are tables outside and nice tables in the inside. It's a fairly simple menu. For the main fare you pick your "filling" and either choose it in two tacos, a burrito, or bowl. We ordered the chips and salsa sampler with quest and guacamole. It was a large appetizer but at $15 I think still think a little overpriced. Husband ordered the pork burrito, wet. It was very good and quite a nice size. I ordered the carne asada in a bowl. It was absolutely delicious! Our only complaint was the burrito had too much onion and once or twice had a mouthful of onions. My bowl had borderline too many tomatoes (it cooled the dish off too quickly) next time we'll just say light on the onions and tomatoes, but we will go back! read more

Highly Disappointed...and Yuk.! During a pandemic and with need for business, it was very surprising that on 5/2 the female who took our order and brought it out to sign was soooo RUDE. Rolling her eyes at her coworkers because I wanted used paper to cover the pen, to protect myself from Covid...and then after tipping her $5 for (Nothing!) she turns and walks off. No Thank you!~ No, come again! No enjoy! Rude is all I can say. And it felt very dirty! No one had on masks..and No sanitizer in sights view. I will Never go there again!.
