A really cool idea, I'd be down to come back and try other flavors. Not the biggest fan of the 2 flavors I got but I also don't think they had much variety when I went. Maybe also be a factor that I'm not a fan of most alcohols as it needs to mask the taste well which I don't think they do here so it's essentially like a flavored alcohol ice cream instead of booze infused ice cream. Not too expensive, very interesting to try, just not my preference to mix the two together
Originally came in to try the 4/20 infused flight but they were sold out. The friendly lady who took care of us was able to find a few more samples for us though! This was sooooo good and creamy and chocolatey but not overpowering. The brownie was nice and fudgey. I definitely felt the alcohol after a while. Good place for a snack after date night-- or in our case date day lol. Seating was readily available and we listened to the playlist she had going while enjoying our sundae.
Honestly I was hesitant on coming here because I'm not a big fan of drinking alcohol but I found out they have non alcoholic options. I came here with a friend. I sticked to the non alcholic ice cream and they got the tipsy flavors. We started with the boozy flight. Where you choose 4 flavors and get them in shot glasses. I got Pina colada and vanilla. One thing I could say is that this is quality ice cream. I cannot complain but the non alcoholic options are limited. You get that same feel from any other ice cream shop. Where you get the freedom to choose all your toppings. Only difference is alcoholic flavors. My friend enjoyed all the ice cream they had. They even tried the sundae called Tequila Sunrise. I'm going to keep it 100 the alcoholic ice cream was definitely tempting lol. Everything looked appealing. They only had one scooper at the time but service was still good in here. It has the ice cream shop interior with that boozy flair to it. Tipsy Scoop has multiple locations across the US. Also, the gummy bears here are out of this world. I recommend that for the toppings.
This place has been on my bucket list and I'm glad to finally had the chance to go. There's only one employee at the store and she was down to earth and super friendly. I got a flight of ice cream consisting of 4 flavors. My favorite was the banana whiskey which unfortunately was seasonal only for July. You can taste the banana flavor.I am hoping that it becomes permanent. My second favorite was mint chocolate chip. The mint wasn't too overpowering. The flight comes with toppings, You can sample first. The sorbet is sweeter than the ice cream.
Alcohol + ice-cream?? I can't name a better combo. I love the flavors here and they have seasonal flavors so there's always something new. Staff is super nice even when it's jam packed. Prices are on the higher side but it's worth it! I would definitely come back. Favorite flavor so far is the chocolate mudslide. Get the flight option if you want to try 4 different flavors!
My daughter and I always love getting ice cream and she recommended we try this place. I was skeptical and couldn't believe ice cream and alcohol could possibly taste right; safe to say, I was wrong. It was delicious! We got to try plenty of flavors and my favorite had to be limoncello. The ladies at the counter were very helpful and we had a great experience. The place itself is smaller but we were able to enjoy it indoors. There's also outdoor seating! We will be back!
Came here the other day for their cocktail class and this place was a blast! Pros: + Friendly service + Cute date night ideas + Friendly staff + Reasonably priced for what you're getting - they opened up multiple bottles of prosecco for us to make the cocktails. What a fun little place with delicious ice cream! There were so many options to choose from. However, I saw the "It's My Party" shake and knew I had to get it. Who doesn't love cake batter ice cream??? I loved all the toppings and how fun the shake was. Definitely had a sugar rush afterwards. My friends got the flight and another shake. All got great feedback. We even got to keep the cups! Staff was great in helping us with their favorites as well to make our decision a bit easier. Will definitely come back.
Place can get pretty packed at around 9Pm but there is always a solid selection of great flavors. I had the cookies and cream infused with coffee alcohol and it was pretty bombbb. They have different seasonal flavors so makes sure you stop by during different times. You have to try to taste the alcohol but it's definitely there. The ice cream are on the pricier end but makes sense.
Each flavor tasted exactly like its name with a light hint of alcohol. The establishment is small with a little outside sitting area. Cute place for a little date or if you want a boozy cool down.

As the name suggests, Tipsy Scoop promises inebriation in the format of ice cream (scoops/pints/flights/cakes), cocktails, and classes. Yes, classes--Only the Williamsburg location offers classes-- where you get to infuse ice cream with booze, decorate boozy ice cream cakes, or curate some ice cream cocktails. For my friend's birthday, I surprised her with the cocktail-making class. Typically this class is $65, but from the Pulsd app (please download it), it was only $45 pp: Let me provide you with the class syllabus: 1) Purchase class on app. 2) Contact Tipsy Scoop staff to schedule a day/time (we booked a Wednesday at 6 PM; This class was 1 hr 30 min) 3) Show up with QR codes (They didn't check ours, I guess we looked like we belonged. We were a party of 4 and got our own table. There were 3 more people who attended the class) 4) Grab free drinks from the fridge throughout the class: (wine/seltzers/beers/water) Great activity!
My friend introduced me to this cool little spot after we came from the movies we went to grab some liquor infused sorbet and ice cream and it was so delicious I got the day drinker tall glass cup filled with theee different flavors of liquor infused sorbet and a shot of Prosecco wine with some gummy candies to top it off I also purchased a pint of vanilla bean bourbon ice cream can't wait to try that out ! I told my girls about this spot and we will be returning as the summer comes in

Such a fun place to have a boozy treat when you want alcohol and dessert - what a great idea! We've come here many times and I highly recommend their dark chocolate whisky salted caramel - it's their best flavor by far! I've also tried their spiked mint chip and spiked hazelnut coffee which are also great. The alcohol is definitely present, a bit of an after-taste which isn't unpleasant but the ice cream is creamy and balances the alcohol well. I had the ice cream flight for St. Patrick's day (3/5) and although the display was IG-worthy, I probably wouldn't get it again as the price is on the expensive side and the flavors can't really compete with those of Odd Fellows and Ample Hills. The only flavor that felt "boozy" was the Irish cream. Maybe the cocktails are better, will have to try it out another time. read more

My friend was gracious enough to invite me as her plus one to taste test some boozy ice cream.....and if you know me of course my answer would be heck yeah lol. Can I just say the presentation of the ice cream flights were the cutest thing to see it was almost to pretty to eat.....ALMOST. So I tried the dark chocolate whiskey caramel and there new concoction called The Mermaid and both were pretty darn good. The texture was smooth and creamy for both and the addition of whiskey with the dark chocolate ice cream really gave it a delicious boost and let me not forget the sweet graham cracker pieces throughout The Mermaid ice cream was a hit with me. I definitely recommend this place as an after lunch or dinner treat you won't be disappointed and your sweet tooth will be satisfied. read more

Definitely recommend this spot for a BOOZY TREAT! :) Inside: very bright and seasonal with holiday decorations. We got the Boozy Flight and boozy cookies. Try the Boozy Flight if you want to try out different flavors (for $15!). Of the 4 flavors in our Boozy Flight, my favorite was probably the dark chocolate whiskey - the liquor flavor was rather faint in my opinion and it was very chocolatey and smooth. The rim of each shot glass had sprinkles. The boozy cookies were very good - they were thick and chewy. The man that served us (unfortunately did not get his name, but we were there on a Saturday evening) provided exceptional customer service. He gave suggestions when we were overwhelmed by the amazing menu, and he was very friendly and a pleasure to speak with. He also did a great job of decorating the shot glasses. read more

I've had this place saved on my list for quite some time. Well, I finally made it over! It was the perfect night in NYC and we were in the area after dinner. Cute little spot for a date night or night out with friends. Our "bartender" was cool and told us exactly what to get. So i just let him do his thing. He sure did not hold back on the liquor either . I'm typically not into the ice cream/liquor combo but it was worth the try and I enjoyed it. read more

Will definitely be back. Was delicious & I left out giggling & a lil tipsy. I got the tequila sunrise, but I preferred the mango over the strawberry sorbet, but both were yummy. I'll get just mango next time. Service was amazing, they let us try different flavors & every flavor I tried was amazing. They even washed our cups to take with us. Very clean and cute inside. What can I say, I wanted to try this place from what I've seen on Instagram. I mean boozy dessert? Why not! From when we walked in, the staff was very pleasant and greeted us nicely. They answered questions we had about the flavors or what types of styles they suggested. You get to try two free samples to help you decide. I ended up getting a drink type called "day drinker". You can also get flights with four flavors of your choice. My drink had prosecco, strawberry margarita sorbet, mango sorbet, and raspberry sorbet. Me and my friend went here as a way to celebrate our birthday and we had so much fun ! Rachel is the best host and deserves a raise and Christine who was our instructor was so amazing and hands on ! The staff was even amazing Stephanie was so sweet and professional all of them deserve raises ! Aside from them the experience was so fun we made friends had amazing conversation we also got to sample EVERY and ANY flavor WE WANTED ( normal customers are limited to 2 samples per visit ) and we got ti make a boozy cocktail ! They also packed our cakes for us and included dry ass for our travels this is a great birthday gift , date night , Mother's Day gift etc . Love this spot! It was my first time trying boozy ice cream and I was blown away by the customer service (they let me try multiple samples until I finally found "the one"). The mint flavored ice cream was my favorite. The alcohol flavor was there and the ice cream was incredibly creamy! The mango sorbet was my favorite non-dairy ice cream cause it was stretchy and tasted so refreshing. I prefer the Williamsburg spot over the East Village location. Came here for a Yelp Elite event and it is the cutest place ever! The person working there was very helpful and kind and had excellent service. Everything was very delicious and flavorful. We go a flight and my plus one received a free scoop. We liked all of the flavors except for the hazelnut one which had an interesting aftertaste. Tipsy Scoop took getting "ice cream wasted" to a whole new level. I love drinking, possibly a little too much, but let's be real... alcohol tastes disgusting. Don't lie to yourself, there's a reason we have chasers and mixers. Best mixer ever though? ICE CREAAAM! Tipsy Scoop makes tons of different boozy ice cream flavors, that you can either buy in scoops, flights, sundaes, or pints to go. To be honest I was skeptical at first, expecting one of two things; either barely any alcohol, or way too much for it to taste good. Those are the experiences I've had in the past, anyway. I was pleasantly surprised though, not only did these flavors taste amazing, but they also happened to be somewhat strong. Especially the sorbets - I got a "flight" my first time there and actually got tipsy! I especially enjoy the drinks and floats that they offer at the "Barlour" in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I have ZERO complaints about the service or food, and while I don't love the spaces, that's not their fault - whenever I go they tend to be fairly busy and there's not a lot of room, which I suppose is a good problem to have. The Brooklyn location is better off, having more space and less of a crowd. I would love if they made the Brooklyn location more "bar like" though, perhaps mirrors to open it up, musiccc, turn it into more of a hang out spot because I would love to be able to chill there with friends... or drown my miseries after a long week while occupying a (preferably more comfortable) stool with endless flights of boozy ice cream until someone cuts me off, takes my keys, and makes me Uber home. I don't drive so I'm not sure which keys they took in this made-up scenario, maybe my work keys? But it's the hypothetical thought that counts. read more

Let me just start saying that whoever came up with the idea of mixing Alcohol and ice cream together and selling it is a plain genius with genuinely amazing idea! Who doesn't love ice cream? And who doesn't like alcohol? Now imagine all these different flavors, amazing toppings, you can also try few before you set your mind on what you want to get. First time I went I had spiked chocolate mint chip then I went again and got Seasonal Watermelon Patron which was so good. One of my favorite from there is "Old fashioned" creamy and rich, I kept eating and wanting more every time I had it. Can't forget how friendly and amazing stuff is. One of the days I went there alone and kept struggling to take selfie and turns out of the worker there is a professional photographer on the side job so he took the best pictures of me! Now that Tipsy Scoop in Brooklyn serves ice cream cocktails, I was excited to try from their new drink selections! In particular, the Day Drinker! The store layout is not the best in my opinion. The space between the wall and checkout was cramped, making it difficult to get in and out. The menu had flavors but they didn't even serve majority of the flavors on the menu. So it wasn't very helpful. I recommend looking at the ice cream station and picking from those flavors instead. For a party of 4, we thought it was best to get the Flight of 4 flavors for $12. We got two sorbet flavors and two ice cream. The ice cream was so deliciously creamy, while the sorbet was refreshing and fruity! Both were tasty, though the sorbet tastes more unique in my opinion. I love the Raspberry Limoncello and Mango Margarita! If you really want to taste the alcohol, you should definitely try their cocktails! We had the Day Drinker ($10) which comes with 3 fruity sorbet flavors, white wine, and gummies. The gummies were a cute touch and added that extra texture to the drink! Such a fun idea to add that twist to sweet treats! I would go back! read more

Found this place thanks to yelp, and had a nice opportunity to meet Morlene, which was nice! Thank you for the comp tasty goodness. Staff extremely friendly, and interiors were nice and well-lit. More of an ice cream shop feel vs. a bar, which I appreciated since I went at 6pm in the evening. Diverse menu and flavor options, though it can get a bit pricey depending on what your fancy is, i.e. a super special drink vs. a flight or a scoop. Pretty strong drink-slash-ice-cream-combo, I would forgo gummies in the future. Great sorbet though, and from the folks I spoke with, the chocolatey goodness flavor profile is not to be missed.
