There is an area of minigolf that spell out the letters "Tipsy" and then the 1-2 Putt in the side which is a fun variation using a handle and pushing the golf balls towards the hole. What a fun night out! This place is honestly huge inside and has so much seating it's great! There's an area to do some mini golf and then another area with a golfing area where you use a table. I think it was called 1-2 Putt? Super fun though! I also love that they serve locally made beers, they all looked so good! I got a Mexican beer and I also had their strawberry margarita, both were great! I didn't get a chance to try the good, but it looked good. The tacos did look a little small in my opinion though. The staff attends to you super quick and are really nice! There are also others going around and picking up glasses pretty often. What I liked the most is there's something for everyone to do! I went to Tipsy Putt on a Saturday night around 8pm for my friend's birthday. The place was packed with a line out the door. Luckily my friend had a reservation, so I was able to bypass the line to grab a ball for myself after I picked up a putter off the rack. The putting area had 9 holes with interesting layouts. On a night like this, there were lines while waiting for the next hole to free up since the groups playing had several people per party. If you weren't pressed for time and didn't mind standing around and waiting often, then you're golden. The whole 2 hours that were allocated to my friend's birthday party was consumed by putting. We didn't get a chance to go to the shuffle board area. Tipsy Putt served cocktails, but they make them from batches and serve them over a tap. I had their Paloma and honestly wasn't a fan. I was gifted a Groupon to Tipsy Putt for Christmas and finally had the chance to use it! My groupon was unlimited games with 2 beverages for 2 people (current cost on groupon ~$39). Getting here is easy - there is a nice parking garage right behind the building. It is 4 hours free parking until 6 PM. My partner and I attempted to use this a week ago or so on a Friday night at 9 PM but there was a 1.5 hour wait, so we ended up not staying that night. We attempted again yesterday (President's Day) at 5:30 pm and it was empty - no wait and no crowd! The mini golf side has 9 holes. The first 5 holes spell out "TIPSY." I think the best mini golf place I've been to was Urban Putt in SF (now closed) because the holes had so much black light decor and excitement when you got your ball in the hole, but this one in comparison is much more basic. It's literally just greens with minimal obstacles. Since there wasn't much of a crowd, we finished our first 9 holes within 45 minutes or so. On the other side of the building there was table golf. It was giving bocce ball vibes where you have 2 chances to hit the ball into a certain spot with the goal of the game being to score the most points. There was also 9 courses for that but given they are quite small - we got through that within 20 minutes. Since the groupon was for unlimited games, we went back to the mini golf section to play one more round. The groupon also came with 2 drink tickets - it was good for anything on tap at the bar - 40 drink options between beers/ciders/wine/cocktails. Everything, including my cocktail, was off the tap. I got "On the Green" which was valued at $13. It was pretty good considering it was off the tap! The building was very spacious - plenty of tables if you wanted to order food and sit down. I did notice some tables had large Connect 4 games, but I only saw 2 and both were being used by other couples so we didn't get a chance to play. Overall this place was decent. At the door cost is $15/person/round for mini golf, $12/person/round at table golf, or $29 for unlimited games. I don't think I'd be willing to pay $29/person for what is available to be honest but there's a groupon for that! read more

Honestly I'm not sure how they keep track who bought tickets to mini golf bc I feel like you can easily sneak in and play (even having the wristband). Great selection of beers and very large bar area. Didn't try any food. However the mini golf area is TINY and cramped. The course isn't easy and not suitable for kids to play imo. The hole placements are not very achievable. I played with people who go actual golfing and they had difficulty. There are only 9 holes and it costs $15 per person - which I think is kind of a rip off. Subpar in Alameda has a way better course that looks better and is more spacious. You can also do $29 for both mini golf and 1-2 putt (which is like shuffleboard). Overall I would not come here again for the golf but only the beers. read more

It's tough because I really wanted to like this place and have been wanting to come here. A few things, we came on wildcard weekend and specifically during the Chiefs/Dolphins game that was only going to be showing on Peacock. Knowing this, our party called and asked if they would be showing the game, since it was on Peacock and they ensured that the game would be on. Fast forward to gametime, we asked the bartender if the game could be put on and that it wasn't on your normal ABC/NBC/etc. She looked and it wasn't on there and said that she would grab the manager. The GM said no worries and that they would put it on right away. Spoiler alert, the game was never put on and we just watched on our phones. Food-wise, we got the - flaming hot elote bowl (literally hot cheetos and corn. barely any cheese or sauce) - nachos (the best thing that we had) - churros. nothing special honestly - pretzels. decent but the queso didnt' taste like cheese and was pretty runny. Mustard was literally a packet of mustard for 3 pretzels. Another note was that we tried to order a salad and add meat and they told us that they don't do that. ??? Right above the salad, it has options for the pricing to add meat to a salad. We were told to order a bowl instead which makes no sense. The bar could use help too with extra bartenders/servers. The line snakes all the way back to the entrance almost during its busiest time. The same people taking your order also pour your beer which causes a huge logjam. There is also a bar in the back corner that has hard liquor and the bartender said that every tequila they have is $29/shot, that is wild. It is a huge place though with the mini golf and 1-2 putt, lots of seating and if they can get the sports situated and beer service, I would come back to watch more games. read more

Recently came here for a friend's party and it was a fun experience. You can check in and grab some drinks and then get started with the different putts. Everyone mostly comes here in a group. Each group takes turns with the putts which are played out in different shapes making it more fun and challenging. We were a group of 15 people and it was fun to take turns and keep score. You are supposed to put the ball in within 6 attempts. We had some really talented people in the group and they did it within the first shot! We also got some amazing tacos and nachos. It was my first time here on a company trip. I would say it's a unique experience and one of the first stop places you'd go for drinks and then explore in downtown Sunnyvale. The drinks here are pretty, fair priced, and standard; the only downside was they were premixed on fountain which is okay because they meet expectation for a good drink. Shots here 9 bucks which is fair, I'd say drinks are worth the buck. Food on the other hand is really good for night out, the party nachos will fill 6 hungry adults who are already drinking with your choice of meat. I recommend the Korean styled pork belly tacos if you enjoy spicy kbbq fusion; my coworkers had the chicken tacos and asada, but they agreed they all agreed they the pork belly as much as I did because it had the most flavor! I've come here a few times and I can definitely recommend to come with a few people otherwise the games go by pretty fast but I also love how there are table games you can play if you just wanna chill and sit. There is a large bar inside and a smaller kitchen in the back which serves tacos and other Mexican inspired dishes, even some Indian fusion options! There is plenty of seating indoors, and the music is pretty loud. The service is good, with bartenders very attentive. They are open until 2am which makes this a perfect spot for night owls, attracting a younger population. The holes are challenging and entertaining. Tons of fun and great food/drinks. My party of 3 went on a Saturday night. Place was bustling; we were told mini golf had a 2.5 hour wait, so we opted to do just 1-2 putt which had no wait at all. It's pretty quick to finish all the holes, but we got food and drinks throughout so still ended up staying for a few hours. We each signed up for their rewards program (which is free) and it gets you a $1 beer or cocktail! We got a few cocktails and beers total. My favorite was the Mckinley Mule which was delicious and refreshing. The bartenders were also super friendly and gave great recs. For food, we got the party nachos with chicken and chicken tikka tacos. The food came out incredibly quick and was really good. The nachos portion was enormous, but we still finished the plate clean. The wait for the mini golf was about 1-2 hours while the 1-2 putt had a much shorter wait. 1-2 putt is supposedly a combination of mini golf and shuffle board. While you wait, you can order a beer or food. They have a good range of beers that you can choose from, as well as, cocktails that are coming soon. We ended up leaving after our beers since the mini golf was not ready for us yet after an hour.
