SHOCKING, RUDE, & UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR! I will NEVER go back!!
I followed my nail tech to Tipsy Nails and have had several problems with this salon. My nail tech had cut and wounded both my sister's and my nails multiple times after transferring here. My poor sister was gushing out blood at the last appointment, so she ended up going elsewhere. I continued to stay loyal to the salon but they passed me around from person to person until finally I got the owner, who is a bubbly lady but extremely busy. I had come in on numerous occasions on time for my appointment and had to wait 10-15 minutes as they were running late. This happened on 8/26, 7/13, and 6/17. The owner Nikki said she is so busy, and it is better if I go with someone else, so I made an appointment with Kim to help Nikki out since she is always answering the phones during the nail appointment.
This was the final straw that broke the camel's back- I come in this morning on 9/22 for my appointment with Kim, and I was running a few minutes behind. I tried to call but the phone lines were busy. They called me at 9:04am for my 9am appointment, and I said, "I am running behind, I apologize and am pulling in to the parking lot now." I get in and Kim is giving me the stink eye, saying you're late over and over. I apologized and waited on her to get everything set up and to get her nail kit out as she had not done that yet. She asked what I wanted, and I told her what I typically do and have done every 10 days for months now. She proceeded to use the electronic nail file on my nails and it started to be painful and get super hot so I pulled away for a minute. She never apologized and then told me I have a problem with the crease of my nail and it's all wrong. I asked her what's wrong and what I needed to do. She threw her hands in the air, left the nail station and in front of EVERYONE in the salon, yelled, "I'm so sick of you! You come in late and have an attitude. I'm done! I'm not working on your nails." The owner told me to move over to her station and I said, "What's the problem and what's wrong with my nails?" I told her I do not deserve to be treated this way and talked to like that. I have waited numerous times for her and her team. I tip well and Venmo them like they ask me to. It is unprofessional and unacceptable behavior, and I would never treat anyone that way especially a client. I told her I would be going elsewhere.
I hope they learn how to appropriately treat people with kindness and respect, so they do not lose additional customers. I also hope Kim acknowledged and observed the newborn baby in the salon who was better behaved than her. Her attitude, negativity, and blatant fit of rudeness was unwarranted, inappropriate, and wrong on so many levels. read more
