Great service and communication and great price. Juanita at the front desk is so kind.

Thank you for accommodating me so quickly. Great customer service! The driver was awesome and knowledgeable. He knows a thing or two about cars.. I wish I could remember his name! read more

I went ot Tip Tow to empty all of the personal stuff out of a friends vehicle, since it was being totaled. There were some important papers in the rear of the SUV, but I could not get to them due to the danage from the accident. I nice strong Tip Tow employee was able to lower the back seat and retrieve the documents. The entire staff was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend this company. read more

Only 5 stars because I can't give 6, 7, or 8. Not only did Tip Tow take care of a roadside blowout for us 200 miles from home, they also sourced a new tire for us at the exact minute the local tire shops in town were all closing. Elite service, highest marks. read more

No one wants to need a tow, but when my son had truck issues, they were ready to respond. They were clear on times and communication was flawless. They took the truck to the shop without issue and kept us posted on any delays. When the bill came, there were no surprises either. read more

No one ever wants to need a tow, but this is the place to call around GTown if you do! TIP Tow impressed me. First off, they were responsive. Great communication and competitive pricing. After deciding to go with them, they showed up quickly for an out of town tow. Driver Amin, was thorough, detailed, friendly and transparent. He carefully (and skillfully) got the vehicle loaded onto the truck with no key and a dead battery, while parked in an awkward position---all with no damage. Five stars, well earned, all around. Thanks guys! read more

I was looking for a tow truck to haul a large truck for work. I called and talked to Trey and he was so very helpful. He had a guy go to the job site and look at the truck, it was too large for them to move, but he gave me recommendations on who to call (sent their information even) and also sent pictures of the truck for me to send to other companies I was calling. (I didn't have very much information or pictures of the chip truck I was needing to haul) Thank you for your great service! read more

Fast work, great prices, called them and within the next few hours got my car where it needed to be. Also cool guy that dropped it off. If I ever need another tow it'll be on my 2025 Mercedes Benz, appreciate it read more

AAA sent TIP Tow out to pick me up after destroying my front tire on a rock. Sam the driver was awesome! He took great care of my car when he loaded it on the truck, towed me (& my dog) to Discount Tire, and unloaded it in a parking space. We had a nice conversation along the way too! Big thanks to Sam & TIP Tow for the lift! read more

So I have a hauling company and trucks break from time to time. It sucks but it is part of it. So when I had to have my last one hauled-Trey put an S on his chest and came in person on a Sunday. He truly got me out of a bind and that wasn't the first time. I've repeatedly used him when my stuff breaks and Trey and his guys have always came through for me. I appreciate all the help. I truly do. To have a backup plan when things go wrong is truly a good thing to have. I'll keep using Tip-Tow as long as I'm in business. Thank y'all for making the bad times easier to deal with. Tip Tow - Towing Near Me - Georgetown, Texas

Sam the man!! Sam was very comforting in the mist of our situation. They were very fast and very professional from the start of the phone call to the end of our destination. Sam was very helpful and informative and gave us advice since we aren't from the area. Definitely will recommend this company for any side of the road troubles! read more

My car was STOLEN and towed to Tip Tow. They were not forthcoming about their charges. I was told I would have to pay $295 to get my recovered car off their lot which is absolutely absurd because it was STOLEN from me!! I had to fly from Houston to Austin to be able to get my car. When I showed up, I was told the charge was $365! My car was charged storage fees AND a $50 letter notification fee. I never even got a letter!! The receptionist told me it was her fault that I was charged the fees but refused to take them off. As if having my car stolen wasn't bad enough, this company managed to add insult to injury. I love supporting local businesses, but this company is nothing but a bunch of money hungry low life's who lie and deceive in order to line their pockets. 01/04/2022 Update - While at dinner in Germany tonight FOR WORK, I received a phone call from the business owner in regard to my review. I told him I was at dinner. He admitted his sole purpose for calling was my negative review. His receptionist supposedly asked him to contact me prior to me flying to Austin to get an Uber to pick up my STOLEN car which apparently was too inconvenient for him to do. Can you imagine how much my bill for my STOLEN car would have been if I hadn't picked it up from these greedy thieves (in their own right) prior to my work trip?!? I am a government contractor. I won't even be back in the US until 01/14 at the very earliest! Can you imagine how much my bill from these money hungry thieves would have been?!? I will NOT change my review just because the owner of a business calls and tries to bully me into doing so. read more

Honest and above board. First class operation with competent employees with good attitudes

I had a great experience with Tip Tow. Having just returned from out of town, I took my kids for a cruise in my classic car that had been stored for months. Of course it had issues and left me stranded with 3 kids in the TX heat. Tip Tow was there in 20 minutes, extremely professional and took meticulous care of my vehicle. I hope to never need their service but I have the number saved for the inevitable. read more

Looked on Yelp to find reviews of towing companies and round Tip Top who has fantastic ratings. Gave them a call and great customer service from the dispatcher to the driver. Arrived in 10 minutes and had the vehicle dropped off the the Exhaust shop very quickly for a reasonable rate. Will use them again and thank you again Yelp for the reviews!! read more

Excellent customer service! Thank you for your prompt and friendly service! Our battery had died during the winter snow storm and Tip Tow came to the rescue! read more

I went fishing with a buddy of mine and got stuck when we were leaving. Trey and George came to the rescue and got us unstuck. I appreciate what they did for us when other tow companies wouldn't have risked getting stuck themselves. I highly recommend Tip Tow and appreciate the top notch service these guys did for us. read more

Called late on a Friday and Juanita answered. I had called a couple of weeks earlier and she was just as pleasant as now. She got me in touch with George who stayed in comms with me from the time he got the call until the time we met at the body shop. At the body shop we ran into some difficulties, but George took them all in stride and even offered to help jump start my truck. Allowed me time to take pics for the insurance and rolled out. Very nice folks and the price was very fair! read more

I recently locked my keys in the car. I contacted AAA and they contacted Tip Tow. Will responded immediately that he was going to be there soon, he also text when he got there. Very nice, polite, took care of opening my car. Very efficient, helpful, friendly but reassuring also. Edit....they say things come in threes...my 87 year old mom's car died today. We contacted AAA for a tow and I hoped we would get Will with Tip Tow to be our tech. Sure enough, he responded quickly, told him about my mom, he stayed in touch, took care of her and the car to the mechanic. One reassured daughter that my mom was taken care of. Thanks! read more

The fastest response from AAA I've ever received. Super thankful for how quickly Cedric showed up to help with my flat tire!

I wish I got his name, but the tower called back and arrived very fast to charge my battery in Georgetown, TX. I had to help him find the hood latch and battery terminals as the Jeep has them hidden. I was happy to see that he dressed for a safe mission with his face mask and warm coat, and he was very humble and polite. Thank you for a job well done. Based on this visit would consider calling them again for my battery needs. The owner should be proud. Keep up the good work. read more

A well-deserved 5 stars! I called AAA to have someone jump/assess my battery. Lucky for me, they sent Russell from Tip Tow. He was prompt, courteous, attentive, skilled and informative. Poor guy even had to squeeeeeze to get to my car's hood & battery - thanks to my super tiny one car garage. Instead of complaining, he shrugged it off as "just another service challenge". He also didn't try to pressure me to purchase a $160.00 AAA battery. Instead, he gave me his honest opinion regarding my next best steps. I didn't have any cash for a tip, so he had to settle for a couple of bandaids (for his scrapes of the trade), a dose of gratitude, and this Yelp review. Thanks again, Russell! read more

Update: As I said in my previous review, these are the only people I will call to tow me, unless I happen to break down in Saskatchewan and I couldn't expect them to schlepp out to Saskatchewan to drag my sorry butt home! I got stuck in the driveway of my pet sitter (Furry Family Nanny....review forthcoming... she is fabulous!!!!), and when I say TipTow was out to get me (way out near the GT airport) in a flash, I'm not exaggerating. That's why I put them in my phone-- I will always call them if I get stuck. This time Jason took care of me, and he was super! He treated my 13 yr old car like it was right off the showroom floor, and he had a calm, comforting presence. He brought it to to my mechanic (GT Interstate Transmission, updated review forthcoming... they are terrific!!! does it feel like I'm writing a web of connected reviews, hah?) and Jason was so patient with my convoluted instructions about my car needing two keys and to let them know at the shop (one key for ignition, which was stuck in ignition, wouldn't turn on, and another for door) and I just really appreciate that so much. And Jason took care of the AAA part, too. All I had to do was stand there and watch, probably unhelpfully. I hate when my car doesn't just git up and go the way I want it to (but what can I expect, right? It's 13!), but these guys make getting towed a pleasure when you hafta get towed. THANK YOU SO MUCH, TREY AND JASON!!!! read more

Cleaning out my desk and found a business card from Tip Tow...which I had the unfortunate pleasure of encountering a few months back. The card brought back bad memories! If there was a 0 star option, I'd throw it towards "Trey" and his crack squad of incompetent workers. Story: My car broke down around 10pm on a Tuesday night (not busy) less than a mile from their shop on hwy 35. I called into Jeep who put me in touch with these jokers. 2.5 HOURS later their driver figured out where I was. 4 phone calls. I'm very patient, but wow. I could've pushed my car there faster...probably should have...or just pushed it all the way back to Austin as that wouldve saved time and frustration. So they put my car on the tow and drive me to the shop. As we're pulling in, the dude driving tells me to get my stuff out of the Jeep...so I hop up there and do so, only to have "Trey" come out of the building screaming at the top of his lungs to "get the F down from the car" and how if I got hurt I could sue him. Fine...relax bro. Then I find out they can't tow me to my house, about 20 miles away...totally fine. However, my work associate had a car parked less than 2 miles away...but they still wouldnt give me a ride as that's against company policy. So I call a cab and 30 min later it arrives. As I am getting in the taxi for my 2 mile jaunt ($20) "Trey" looks me in the eyes and asks if I could recommend his shop to my friends. Are you kidding me? THEN he asks the cab driver to take people to Tip Tow when they break down... Unreal. Trey sucks. His shop sucks. His employees suck. Net net: Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I was traveling home with my daughter and her car had a flat tire, she did not have a spare. I called AAA who sent Tip Tow with driver Clarence. He went above and beyond. I certainly recommend this driver. read more

These people are awesome. They helped make a hellish situation (car accident, insurance dealings, etc) so much better. Very grateful!

I wish I took a before and after pic of my flat tire versus the aired up one but I was too much in a hurry! I found this great company through AAA after calling in due to a flat. A super duper freaking flat!!! Chris and Shaun arrived after communicating their whereabouts and promptly gave me my options (air up and head to the nearest tire shop or use a donut and head to the nearest tire shop). I opt'd for the air and go. I give them 10 stars for their professionalism, speed and ability to speak in layman's terms regarding the screw pleasantly placed in the tread of my semi new tire. Oh, annnnddd they even shook my hand which has literally never happened before and I've had a few run ins with towing companies and mechanics. Thank you guys!!! read more
